Description
受信機および/または送信機パタンは、各ビームパタンについて受信された信号間および/または送信局から受信されたMIMOシグナリング間で計算された直交レベルに基づいて、ネットワークトラフィック信号に従い、さらに最適化されてもよい。

(1)アクセスポイント、別の中継器、または無線局装置のうちのいずれかからの第1のパスについて受信信号を受信するための第1の受信アンテナと、
前記アクセスポイント、前記別の中継器、または前記無線局装置のいずれかからの第2のパスについて前記受信信号を受信するための第2の受信アンテナと、
前記第1および第2のパスについて受信された前記受信信号に第1および第2のウエイトを適用して第1の加重信号および第2の加重信号を生成するための受信重み付け回路と、
種々数学的な合成に従って前記第1および第2の加重受信信号を合成して複数の合成受信信号を生成するための信号合成器と、
前記合成受信信号のうちのいずれかに対応する送信信号を前記アクセスポイント、前記別の中継器、または前記無線局装置いずれかに送信するための送信アンテナとを具備する無線通信ネットワークのための中継器。
(2) 前記第1の受信アンテナは、第1の周波数チャネルを通じて前記第1のパスについての前記受信信号を受信するよう初期に設定され、前記第2の受信アンテナは、第2の周波数チャネルを通じて前記第2のパスについての前記受信信号を受信するよう初期に設定される(1)の中継器。
(3) 前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナに接続され、前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナのいずれかについて前記受信信号の存在を検出するように構成される信号検出装置と、
前記信号検出装置および前記第1および第2の受信アンテナに接続され、前記第2の周波数チャネル上の前記受信信号を受信するために第1の受信アンテナを切り替え、または前記信号検出装置の検出に従って、前記第1の周波数チャネル上の前記受信信号を受信するために前記第2の受信アンテナを切り替えるように構成される制御回路と、をさらに具備する(2)の中継器。
(4) 前記合成受信信号のいずれかをフィルタするためのデジタルフィルタをさらに具備し、
前記信号合成器は、前記第1の受信アンテナで受信された前記受信信号の第1のサンプルおよび前記第2の受信アンテナで受信された前記受信信号の第2のサンプルを格納し、前記信号検出装置が前記受信信号の存在を検出した、前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナのいずれかに従って前記第1のサンプルまたは前記第2のサンプルのいずれかを前記デジタルフィルタにロードするように構成され、
前記デジタルフィルタは、前記第1のサンプルまたは前記第2のサンプルのいずれかに従って前記合成受信信号の前記いずれかをフィルタする(3)の中継器。
(5) 前記第1および第2の受信アンテナは第1および第2のパッチアンテナであり、前記送信アンテナはダイポールアンテナである(1)の中継器。
(6) 前記第1および第2の受信アンテナは第1および第2のダイポールアンテナであり、前記送信アンテナはパッチアンテナである(1)の中継器。
(7) 所定の信号メトリックに基づいて前記合成受信信号の前記いずれかにウエイトを適用して、前記送信信号を生成するための送信ウエイトコントローラをさらに具備する(1)の中継器。
(8) 前記受信重み付け回路は、前記第1および第2の受信信号の前記いずれかの位相を調整するための可変位相シフターと前記第1および第2の受信信号の前記いずれかの利得を調整するための可変アッテネータとのいずれかを含む(1)の中継器。
(9) 前記第1および第2のパスは、異なる到来角を持つ(1)の中継器。
(10) 第1および第2のパスについて第1の受信信号を受信するための第1および第2の受信アンテナと、第1および第2の送信アンテナとを含む、無線通信ネットワークのための中継器であって、
第1および第2の受信パスについて受信された前記受信信号に第1および第2のウエイトを適用して第1の加重信号および第2の加重信号を生成するための受信重み付け回路と、
種々数学的な合成に従って前記第1および第2の加重受信信号を合成して複数の合成受信信号を生成し、前記複数の合成受信信号の所定の1つを出力するための信号合成器と、
前記複数の合成受信信号の前記所定の1つを第1および第2の送信信号に分割するためのスプリッタと、
前記第1および第2の送信信号に送信ウエイトを適用して第1および第2の加重送信信号を生成するための送信重み付け回路と、を具備し、
前記第1および第2の送信アンテナは、前記第1および第2の加重送信信号を送信する無線通信ネットワークのための中継器。
(11) 前記第1および第2のパスは、異なる到来角を持つ(10)の中継器。
(12) 前記第1および第2の送信アンテナ上に送信される自己生成信号の測定値に従って、前記受信重み付け回路を制御するためのコントローラをさらに具備する(10)の中継器。
(13) 異なるパス上の複数の多入力多出力(MIMO)信号ストリームを受信するための第1および第2の受信アンテナに接続される第1および第2の受信機と、第1および第2の送信アンテナに接続される第1および第2の送信機とを含む、無線通信ネットワークのための中継器であって、
種々数学的な合成に従って前記複数のMIMO信号ストリームを合成し、複数の合成MIMO信号ストリームを生成するための信号合成器と、
前記複数のMIMO信号ストリームの各々にウエイトを適用して複数の加重MIMO信号ストリームを生成するための重み付け回路と、
前記加重MIMO信号ストリームにおける優位信号ストリームを決定するためのデジタルプロセッサと、を具備し、
優位信号ストリームは、前記第1送信アンテナ上に送信され、残余の前記MIMO加重信号ストリームは前記第2送信アンテナ上に送信される無線通信ネットワークのための中継器。
(14) 前記デジタルプロセッサは、信号強度、信号対雑音比、および遅延スプレッドの少なくともいずれかに基づいて前記優位信号ストリームを決定する(13)の中継器。
Claims (8)
- アクセスポイント、別の中継器、または無線局装置のうちのいずれかからの第1のパスについて受信信号(s1*h11)を受信するための第1の受信アンテナと、
前記アクセスポイント、前記別の中継器、または前記無線局装置のいずれかからの第2のパスについて前記受信信号(s1*h21)を受信するための第2の受信アンテナと、
前記第1および第2のパスについて受信された前記受信信号に第1および第2のウエイトを適用して第1の加重信号(Sa_f)および第2の加重信号(Sb_f)、
Sa_f = (s1*h11)_pi/2 + (s1*h21)_pi,
Sb_f = (s1*h11)_pi + (s1*h21)_pi/2,
(ただし、_pi = exp(j*pi), hはチャネル応答であって、中継器は第1の周波数s1に調整)を生成するための受信重み付け回路と、
種々数学的な合成に従って前記第1および第2の加重受信信号を合成して複数の合成受信信号を生成するための信号合成器と、
前記合成受信信号のうちのいずれかに対応する送信信号を前記アクセスポイント、前記別の中継器、または前記無線局装置いずれかに送信するための送信アンテナとを具備し、
前記第1の受信アンテナは、第1の周波数チャネルを通じて前記第1のパスについての前記受信信号を受信するよう初期設定され、前記第2の受信アンテナは、第2の周波数チャネルを通じて前記第2のパスについての前記受信信号を受信するよう初期設定されて送信器−受信機間分離の初期値を決定し、
前記第1の受信アンテナと前記第2の受信アンテナの間のカップリングを前記送信器−受信機間分離の初期値に基づいて最小化する、無線通信ネットワークのための中継器。 - 前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナに接続され、前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナのいずれかについて前記受信信号の存在を検出するように構成される信号検出装置と、
前記信号検出装置および前記第1および第2の受信アンテナに接続され、前記第2の周波数チャネル上の前記受信信号を受信するために第1の受信アンテナを切り替え、または前記信号検出装置の検出に従って、前記第1の周波数チャネル上の前記受信信号を受信するために前記第2の受信アンテナを切り替えるように構成される制御回路と、をさらに具備する請求項1の中継器。 - 前記合成受信信号のいずれかをフィルタするためのデジタルフィルタをさらに具備し、該デジタルフィルタは遅延特性を有し、
前記信号合成器は、前記第1の受信アンテナで受信された前記受信信号の第1のサンプルおよび前記第2の受信アンテナで受信された前記受信信号の第2のサンプルを格納し、前記信号検出装置が前記受信信号の存在を検出した、前記第1の受信アンテナおよび前記第2の受信アンテナのいずれかに従って前記第1のサンプルまたは前記第2のサンプルのいずれかを前記デジタルフィルタにロードするように構成され、
前記デジタルフィルタは、前記第1のサンプルまたは前記第2のサンプルのいずれかに従って前記合成受信信号の前記いずれかをフィルタする請求項2の中継器。 - 前記第1および第2の受信アンテナは第1および第2のパッチアンテナであり、前記送信アンテナはダイポールアンテナである請求項1の中継器。
- 前記第1および第2の受信アンテナは第1および第2のダイポールアンテナであり、前記送信アンテナはパッチアンテナである請求項1の中継器。
- 所定の信号メトリックに基づいて前記合成受信信号の前記いずれかにウエイトを適用して、前記送信信号を生成するための送信ウエイトコントローラをさらに具備する請求項1の中継器。
- 前記受信重み付け回路は、前記第1および第2の受信信号の前記いずれかの位相を調整するための可変位相シフターと前記第1および第2の受信信号の前記いずれかの利得を調整するための可変アッテネータとのいずれかを含む請求項1の中継器。
- 前記第1および第2のパスは、異なる到来角を持つ請求項1の中継器。
