Claims (1)
- トラック内に情報を記録する磁気記録媒体であって、前記トラック内にサーボ信号が所定の間隔で形成されてなる磁気記録媒体と、
前記磁気記録媒体から信号を読み取る再生ヘッド、並びに前記磁気記録媒体に情報を記録する記録ヘッドを含む磁気ヘッドと、
前記磁気ヘッドによる情報の記録・再生時に、前記再生ヘッドで読み取った信号のうちからサーボ信号を検出し、その検出間隔の情報を継続的に取得して、当該継続的に取得したサーボ信号の検出間隔の情報に基づいて、記録・再生の少なくとも一方の処理を実行する制御部と、
予め設定されたサーボ信号の検出間隔の期待値を保持し、前記期待値は前記サーボ信号に基づいて更新される期待値保持部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記期待値保持部が保持している検出間隔の期待値に対して、前記継続的に取得した情報が表す検出間隔との相違が、所定の許容閾値を超えない場合に前記期待値を補正した補正期待値を演算して、当該補正期待値の情報が、記録・再生の少なくとも一方の処理に供されると共に、前記期待値保持部が保持している検出間隔の期待値に対して、前記継続的に取得した情報が表す検出間隔との相違が、所定の許容閾値を超える場合は、記録・再生の少なくとも一方の処理を中止させ、
前記制御部は、比較制御部と、サーボ間隔期待値設定レジスタと、サーボ間隔補正値設定レジスタと、変動許容値設定レジスタと、差分演算器と、を含み、
前記差分演算器は、サーボ間隔カウンタが保持している値と、サーボ間隔補正値設定レジスタが保持している値との差分値を出力し、
前記比較制御部は、
前記サーボ信号と、前記差分値と、前記サーボ間隔期待値設定レジスタが保持している値と、前記変動許容値設定レジスタが保持している値と、を入力として受け、
前記サーボ間隔期待値設定レジスタが保持している値と、前記変動許容値設定レジスタが保持している値と、前記差分値と、に基づき、サーボ間隔補正値の更新値を算出し、前記サーボ間隔補正値設定レジスタにフィードバックする、
ことを特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。
