Description
しかも、過給圧が上昇した時点での吸入空気量の絶対値を増加させ、トルクや出力の絶対値を高めることが可能になる。
すると、シリンダヘッドSHの上部の軸受に回転自在に支持された駆動軸6と、該駆動軸6に固設された駆動カム7と、駆動軸6の外周面に揺動自在に支持されて、バルブリフター8、8の上面に摺接して各吸気弁4,4を開作動させる2つの揺動カム9,9と、駆動カム7の回転力を揺動運動に変換して揺動カム9,9に伝達する伝達機構とを備えている。

Claims (9)
- 機関の出力目標値を設定する目標値設定部と、
該目標値設定部からの出力信号に基づいて制御信号を出力する制御部と、
該制御部から出力された制御信号に基づいて吸気弁の作動角とリフト量を制御する吸気弁特性変更部と、
前記制御部から出力された制御信号に基づいて排気弁の開閉時期を制御する排気弁特性変更部と、
前記排気弁によって排出された排気ガスの圧力によって排気タービンを回転駆動して該排気タービンと同軸のコンプレッサを回転駆動して吸入空気を過給する過給機と、を備え、
前記出力目標値が高められた際に、前記制御部が前記吸気弁特性変更部に制御信号を出力して、前記吸気弁の開時期を進角させると共に閉時期を遅角させる一方、前記排気弁特性変更部に制御信号を出力して、排気弁の開時期を進角させ、
前記過給機による過給圧上昇後に、前記吸気弁特性変更部によって吸気弁の作動角及びリフト量をさらに増加させると共に、前記排気弁特性変更部によって排気弁の開時期と閉時期を遅角させることを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 前記目標設定部は、アクセル開度を設定するアクセル開度設定部によって構成され、
前記制御部は、前記アクセル開度設定部からのアクセル開度信号を含む前記機関の状態を演算によって検出された制御信号によってスロットルバルブの開度を所定値に設定し、
前記アクセル開度が所定の開度以下の領域では、前記スロットルバルブの開度を所定の開度以上に設定すると共に、前記吸気弁特性変更部によって吸気弁の作動角とリフト量を制御してトルク制御を行う、
一方、アクセル開度が所定の開度以上の領域では、前記スロットルバルブの開度を所定の開度以上に設定すると共に、前記吸気弁特性変更部によって吸気弁の作動角とリフト量を増加する制御を行い、前記排気弁特性変更部によって排気弁の開時期を進角する制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 機関の回転数が所定以下の低回転域では、前記吸気弁特性変更部を前記排気弁特性変更部より優先して制御し、所定以上の中、高回転域では、前記排気弁特性変更部を吸気弁特性変更部よりも優先して制御することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記排気弁特性変更部は、排気弁の開閉時期を進角側へ付勢する付勢手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記排気弁特性変更部は、排気弁の開閉時期を遅角側へ付勢する付勢手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記の過給圧が所定以上になったことを検出した場合には、前記吸気弁特性変更部が吸気弁の作動角を拡大して開時期を進角制御する一方、前記排気弁特性変更部が排気弁の開時期と閉時期とを遅角制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 前記過給機の異常が生じた場合に、前記排気弁特性変更部によって排気弁の開閉時期を遅角側に制御したことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 機関の排気弁を介して排出された排気ガスの圧力によって吸入空気を過給する過給機と、
吸気弁の作動角とリフト量を制御する吸気弁特性変更部と、
前記排気弁の開閉時期を制御する排気弁特性変更部と、
機関の出力目標値に基づいて前記吸気弁特性変更部と排気弁特性変更部を制御する制御部と、を備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記出力目標値が高くなった際に、前記制御部からの制御信号によって前記吸気弁特性変更部が吸気弁の開時期を進角制御しかつ閉時期を遅角制御すると共に、前記排気弁特性変更部が排気弁の開時期を進角制御する第1のトルク制御と、
前記過給機によって過給圧が上昇した後に、前記吸気弁特性変更部により吸気弁の作動角を拡大しかつリフト量を増大させる制御を行うと共に、排気弁特性変更部により排気弁の開時期と閉時期を遅角側に制御する第2のトルク制御と、
を有することを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記第1のトルク制御において、前記排気弁特性変更部に制御信号を出力して前記排気弁の開時期と閉時期とを進角制御して吸気弁とのバルブオーバーラップを減少させることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
