Description
すると、シリンダヘッドSHの上部の軸受に回転自在に支持された中空状の駆動軸6と、該駆動軸6の外周面に圧入等により固設された偏心回転カムである駆動カム7と、駆動軸6の外周面に揺動自在に支持されて、各吸気弁4,4の上端部に配設されたバルブリフター8、8の上面に摺接して各吸気弁4,4を開作動させる2つの揺動カム9,9と、駆動カム7と揺動カム9,9との間に介装されて、駆動カム7の回転力を揺動運動に変換して揺動カム9,9に揺動力として伝達する伝達機構とを備えている。
続いて、ステップ7では、前記電動モータ20への電流値Iを読み込み、ステップ8で、その電流値Iがピークを越えたか否かを判別する。
機関のクランキングに先立って前記第1可変機構に目標位置へ切り換え信号を出力し、この出力時の電流ピークを越えた後に、電動モータによるクランキングを開始することを特徴とする請求項1〜(へ)のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
(チ)前記第1可変機構を吸気側に設け、前記第2可変機構を排気側に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1、(イ)〜(ト)のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。

Claims (1)
- 機関の停止またはクランキング中に機関弁の作動特性を制御可能な第1可変機構と、
前記機関弁の作動状態を第1可変機構とは別に制御する第2可変機構と、を備え、
前記機関のクランキング開始前の前記第2可変機構の作動状態に応じて、クランキング開始前またはクランキング中に、前記機関の所定の始動条件を満足するように前記第1可変機構の作動を制御する制御信号をクランキングに先立って出力し、前記第1可変機構の制御電流のピーク値から所定の遅延時間をもってクランキングを開始することを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
