Description
この発明は、また、積層するの包装材料から示される包装容器だけでなく発明に応じた積層する包装材料の製造の方法に関する。
これは、従って、改善された酸素バリアおよび優秀な機械的性質を招く。 そのようなポリアミドが、例えば、「Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Vol. 49, 1259-1264 (1993)", と"Vol. 55, 119-123 (1995)」に記載されている。 PA-6を持つメリットは、その低価格であり、一方、PA-6、PA-6または、PA-6/66に基づくNCHは、その個々の元のポリマーよりかなり良好な酸素ガスバリア性に与えるメリットを持っている。 さらに、NCHは、純粋なPA-6より、約2倍良好な水分バリア性を有する。 この発明の混合物に適当なNCHの例は、PA-6で基づき、宇部興産株式会社から商業的に入手可能である(Grade 1022 CM1)。
接着性の層16’とともに中間のポリオレフィン層13’と17’が、最内層のポリエチレン層18で不足の熱融着可能なポリマーの総量を補うサーモシールできのポリマーの大部分に付与するので、積層品の密封特性はなおも優秀である。 密封ゾーンに沿った熱と圧力の適用において、バリヤー層12’は、「貫いてシールされる」ことになり、従って、大部分の層13'と17'を熱融解シール操作に巻き込む。
例1
バリア特性の比較: 種々のポリアミド酸素バリヤー層でバリア特性を比較する。
完成した包装材料構造で測定する。すなわち、共押出された5つの層を持つ構造(g/m2)
:LDPE (13)/ボード/LDPE (10)/接合剤(5)/PA(バリア)(6)/接合剤(5)/LDPE (25)
バリヤー層コーティング重量: それぞれの6および10g/m2
PA-6: 標準のPA-6(宇部興産製:グレード1024b)
Selar Pa3508:非結晶のポリアミド
ガスバリヤー層において単独で使われる時のPA6の酸素透過性値が、0%RHで、Selarポリアミドについてとほぼ同じ高さであるが、より高い相対湿度である。 ガスバリアだけとしてのSelar PAまたはPA6は、従って、ESL包装のため経済的に利点がない。
テスト方法:
ナイロン-MXD6ポリアミドブレンドのブレンド品質:
2相の混和しないブレンド、すなわちDSC測定において2回の融点またはメルト間隔を示しているブレンドを得るためには、ポリマーは、低いメルト温度、相対的に短いブレンディング時間、および混合する時に低いせん断を使うことで混合されるべきである。 実際において、種々のポリマー小粒はドライブレンドされて、ポリマーを押出ダイに供給する間、押出機において、次いで溶融混合される。 2相のブレンドは、1つのフェーズを持つタイプであるブレンドより良好な酸素バリア特性を付与する。
ポリマーの重量割合の影響:
上記の膨れは、10週冷却貯蔵の後に、2回の別々なテストで測定された。個々のテストは、オレンジジュースによって満たされた10個の包装用容器について、包装容器の76mmの壁から膨らんだ幅(mm)の数値を測定した。表5の比較値は、参照包装用容器の値から膨らんだ値(ミリメートル)である。

Claims (13)
- 紙または板紙のコア層(11)、およびポリアミドのガスバリヤー層(12)から成っている積層包装材料(10)であって、
ガスバリヤー層(12)が、メタキシレンジアミンとアジピン酸の縮合重合体(ナイロン-MXD6)を含み、
ガスバリヤー層(12)が、熱シール可能なプラスチック(13)の少なくとも1つの層とともに共押出しコーティングによってコア層(11)の一面に付けられ、
ガスバリヤー層(12)は、ナイロン-MXD6および第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドを含むポリアミドブレンドであり、
ガスバリヤー層は、コア層(11)の一面に付けられた最初のガスバリヤー層(12)および2番目のガスバリヤー層(12')から成っており、両方のバリヤー層は、ナイロン-MXD6と第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドとのポリアミドブレンドから成り、
ガスバリヤー層(12)は、中間のラミネーション若しくは接着性の層を設けず、共押出しによって紙または板紙のコア層(11)に直接付けられる
ことを特徴とする積層包装材料。 - ポリアミドブレンドは、DSC測定により2つのメルト間隔が示される2相の混和しないブレンドである、請求項1記載の積層包装材料。
- ポリアミドブレンドに含められているナイロン-MXD6の比率は、60-90重量パーセントである、請求項1〜2記載の積層包装材料。
- 第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドが、ポリアミド-6(PA-6)である、請求項1〜3記載の積層包装材料。
- 第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドが、ナイロンクレーハイブリッド(NCH)である、請求項1〜4記載の積層包装材料。
- ガスバリヤー(12)は、4-12g/m2の量で用いるされる、請求項1〜5記載の積層包装材料。
- コア層(11)と反対側のガスバリヤー層(12)の側面は、接着性のポリマーの中間の層(14)によってポリエチレン層(13)と接合される、請求項1〜6記載の積層包装材料。
- 接着性のポリマーの前記の層(14)は、マレイン酸無水物によってグラフトされたポリエチレンから成る、請求項7記載の積層包装材料。
- ガスバリヤー層(12)と反対側のコア層(11)の側面は、また、ポリエチレンの外の層(15)によって被覆される、請求項1〜8記載の積層包装材料。
- 前記のポリエチレン層(13と15)は、線型の低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、メタロセンポリエチレン(m-PE)または、LDPEとm-PEとのブレンドをから成り、ポリエチレン層(15)は15-20g/m2の量に用いられる、請求項1〜9記載の積層包装材料。
- 7-9g/m2の量で用いられるポリエチレンの最内層の製品接触層(18)を有する、請求項1〜10記載の積層包装材料。
- 紙または板紙のコア層(11)、およびポリアミドのガスバリヤー層(12)から成っている積層包装材料(10)の製造方法であって、
ガスバリヤー層(12)が、メタキシレンジアミンとアジピン酸の縮合重合体(ナイロン−MXD6)を含み、
ガスバリヤー層(12)が、熱シール可能なプラスチック(13)の少なくとも1つの層とともに共押出しコーティングによってコア層(11)の一面に付けられ、
ガスバリヤー層(12)は、ナイロン−MXD6と第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドとを含むポリアミドブレンドであり、
ガスバリヤー層は、コア層(11)の一面に付けられた最初のガスバリヤー層(12)および2番目のガスバリヤー層(12')から成っており、両方のバリヤー層は、ナイロン-MXD6と第二の結晶性のまたはセミ結晶性のポリアミドとのポリアミドブレンドから成り、
ガスバリヤー層(12)を含む多層フィルム(24)を共押し出し(22)、活性化するために、コア層基材(11)の表面を前処理(21)し、オゾンで多層フィルムの接触面を前処理(25)し、さらに、前処理された表面を次いで圧力(26)の適用によりお互いに接着する、
積層包装材料の製造方法。 - コア層基材(11)は、コロナまたは火炎処理によって(21)を表面活性化処理し、さらに、多層フィルム(24;24'')のコア層接触層側面(12)は、オゾン(25)によって処理される、請求項12記載の積層包装材料の製造方法。
