Description
Claims (3)
- 2次元状に配列した光電変換素子と該光電変換素子にて変換された電荷を垂直方向に転送する複数の垂直方向転送路と水平方向に転送する水平方向転送路を有する撮像素子を用いる撮像装置において、
露光時間内に該露光時間より短い間隔にて分割したタイミングパルスを発生する時間管理回路と、
上記タイミングパルスの間隔で当該装置の動きを検出する動き検出部と、
上記光電変換素子から電荷を上記垂直方向転送路に読み出すとともに、上記垂直方向転送路上の電荷を転送するための駆動信号を生成する駆動回路と、
上記時間管理回路と上記動き検出部からの出力信号に基づき上記駆動回路を制御する制御回路を備え、
上記タイミングパルスの間隔で上記動き検出部が検出した垂直方向の動きの方向と大きさに応じて、上記駆動回路が、上記垂直方向転送路上に読み出した以前の電荷を垂直上方向または下方向に所定距離だけ転送し、該転送された以前の電荷に上記光電変換素子にて上記タイミングパルスの間隔で変換された新たな電荷を読み出し加算すると共に、
上記垂直方向転送路は、上記光電変換素子の占める垂直方向領域の両外側に転送路の増設部を設け、上記垂直方向の動きに基づき、該増設部に渡って上記垂直方向転送路における電荷の転送を行うことを特徴とする撮像装置。 - 請求項1記載の撮像装置において、
前記動き検出部の検出した動き量がしきい値以上である場合、前記制御回路は前記駆動回路に対し、電荷を転送する距離を所定の値以内に制限するよう制御することを特徴とする撮像装置。 - 請求項1記載の撮像装置において、
前記動き検出部の検出した動き量がしきい値以上である場合、該動き検出部は前記制御回路に対し、該しきい値を超えないレベルの検出信号を出力することを特徴とする撮像装置。
