Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle sudden brake determination device that detects a return speed of an accelerator pedal and determines that a driver performs a sudden brake operation after the return speed exceeds a predetermined threshold.
As a conventional sudden brake determination device, the brake pressure is increased by determining that the driver has suddenly operated the brake based on the depression speed and depression strength when the driver steps on the brake pedal. Technology is known.
However, in such a sudden brake determination device, for elderly people who take a long time to switch from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal, there is a delay in the response time until the brake pedal is depressed in an emergency. If it is determined whether or not the sudden brake operation is performed according to the depression of the pedal, there is a possibility that a delay may occur in the automatic brake processing or the like accompanying the determination of the sudden brake operation.
By the way, in the conventional sudden brake determination device, the threshold value of the accelerator pedal return operation speed is uniquely set by the accelerator opening. Since the operating speed of the accelerator pedal in the normal state differs depending on the driver, if the threshold value of the accelerator pedal returning operation speed is uniquely set by the accelerator opening in this way, the judgment of sudden braking is made to all drivers. The problem arises that they do not match.
That is, if the accelerator pedal return operation speed threshold is set high, the sudden braking function cannot be activated for a driver who operates slowly, and conversely, if the accelerator pedal return operation speed threshold is set low, The sudden braking function may be activated when it is not necessary for a driver who operates quickly. Moreover, even if it is the same driver | operator, an operation pattern changes with an urban area, a suburb, and a mountain road.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle sudden brake determination device capable of setting an appropriate accelerator return operation speed threshold for all drivers and all driving patterns.
According to the present invention, there is provided a vehicle sudden brake determination device that detects a return speed of an accelerator pedal and determines that the driver suddenly performs a brake operation when the return speed exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Until the accelerator operation amount becomes zero, and the brake pedal operation amount after that is less than a predetermined value, the accelerator pedal return operation start position in the normal accelerator return operation and every predetermined opening from the start position until that time A storage means for storing the maximum value of the accelerator return speed for each of the plurality of accelerator normal return operations, and calculating the average of the maximum values of the plurality of accelerator return speeds stored in the storage means to calculate the normal accelerator A normal accelerator operation learning value calculation means as an operation learning value, and a predetermined emergency accelerator operation amount is added to the normal accelerator operation learning value before Predetermined sudden braking determination device for a vehicle, wherein the threshold value calculation unit, by comprising a for calculating a threshold value is provided.
According to the present invention, by learning the accelerator pedal return operation speed pattern for each driver, it is possible to set an appropriate accelerator return operation speed control threshold for all drivers, and the difference between drivers or the same. Appropriate sudden braking determination according to the difference in the driving state of the driver is possible.

Hereinafter, with reference to the flowcharts of FIGS. 3 and 4, the vehicle sudden brake determination device according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail. This flowchart is a flowchart of EBP control (electric brake prefill control).
First, in step S10, it is determined whether or not the normal accelerator operation learning flag is on. If it is determined that the normal accelerator operation learning flag is on, the process proceeds to step S11, and the difference from the previous accelerator opening, that is, the change in the accelerator opening and the maximum value of the accelerator change are stored. .
Next, the routine proceeds to step S12, where it is determined whether or not the accelerator opening is 0, that is, whether or not the accelerator pedal is fully returned. If it is determined in step S12 that the accelerator opening is not 0, the process proceeds to step S13 to determine whether or not the previous accelerator opening is 0.
If it is determined in step S13 that the previous accelerator opening is 0, the process proceeds to step S14 to learn the accelerator operation. That is, in step S14, the normal accelerator operation learning flag is turned off, the learning counter is counted up, the maximum value of the learning accelerator change amount so far is stored, and the learning accelerator off start opening is stored.
If it is determined in step S13 that the previous accelerator opening is not 0, the process proceeds to step S15 to determine whether or not the accelerator opening is increasing. If it is determined that the accelerator opening is increasing, the process proceeds to step S16 and the learning flag is turned off.
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S12 that the accelerator opening is 0, the process proceeds to step S17, and it is determined whether or not a brake of a predetermined pressure or more is depressed within a specified time from the EBP control operation. When step S17 is affirmation determination, it progresses to step S18 and a learning flag is turned off.
If it is determined in step S10 that the normal accelerator operation learning flag is off, the process proceeds to step S19 to determine whether or not an accelerator closing speed has occurred. When step S19 is affirmation determination, it progresses to step S20 and it is determined whether an accelerator closing speed is more than learning permission speed.
When step S20 is affirmation determination, it progresses to step S21 and sets a normal accelerator operation learning flag. When step S15 is negative determination, when step S17 is negative determination and after step S14, S16, S18, S21, it progresses to step S22 and it is determined whether a learning counter is 4 times or less. If it is determined that the learning counter is four times or less, the process proceeds to step S23, where a predetermined initial value is substituted for the normal accelerator operation learning value.
When it is determined in step S22 that the learning counter is 5 times or more, the process proceeds to step S24, and the average of the maximum value of the accelerator change amount learned in step S14 is calculated three times to obtain the normal accelerator operation learning value. .
Specifically, as shown in Table 1, the average of three times excluding the minimum value and the maximum value among the past five closing speeds for each accelerator opening is calculated and set as a normal accelerator operation learning value. When the learning counter is 6 times or more, the same calculation is performed for the past 5 times.
In step S25, the emergency accelerator operation addition amount is added to the normal accelerator operation learning value to obtain a control start threshold value. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the maximum value of the accelerator closing speed is plotted every 5 degrees of accelerator opening, and the average value obtained by removing the minimum value and the maximum value from the five learning results is set as the normal accelerator
Next, the process proceeds to step S26 to determine whether or not the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the EBP permission vehicle speed. This EBP permission vehicle speed is set to 5 to 10 km / h, for example. If the vehicle speed is lower than the permitted vehicle speed, the process is terminated.
If it is determined in step S26 that the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the EBP permitted vehicle speed, the process proceeds to step S27 to determine whether or not the EBP control is being performed. If it is determined that the EBP control is being performed, the process proceeds to step S28 to determine whether or not the accelerator pedal is depressed.
When step S28 is affirmative determination, it progresses to step S29 and it is determined whether the brake pedal is not stepped on. If it is determined that the brake pedal is not depressed, the process proceeds to step S30 to determine whether or not the EBP timer is equal to or shorter than the specified time.
If the EBP timer is not longer than the specified time, the process proceeds to step S31 and EBP pressurization is continued. That is, the
On the other hand, if step S28 or step S29 is negative, that is, if it is determined that the accelerator pedal is being depressed or the brake pedal is being depressed, the routine proceeds to step S32 where EBP is stopped. Also, if it is determined in step S30 that the EBP timer has elapsed, the process proceeds to step S32 and EBP is stopped.
If it is determined in step S27 that the EBP control is not being performed, the process proceeds to step S33 to determine whether or not the accelerator pedal is not depressed. If the determination is affirmative, the process proceeds to step S34 to determine whether or not the brake pedal is not depressed.
If it is determined that the brake pedal is not depressed, the routine proceeds to step S35, where it is determined whether or not the maximum value of the accelerator change amount exceeds the EBP control start
If the determination in step S35 is affirmative, the process proceeds to step S36 to set the EBP timer at a specified time. This EBP timer is a subtraction timer. Subsequently, it progresses to step S37 and the pressurization of EBP is started.
That is, the
On the other hand, if step S33 or step S34 is negative, that is, if it is determined that the accelerator pedal or the brake pedal is not depressed, the routine proceeds to step S38 and EBP is stopped.
Even when it is determined in step S35 that the maximum value of the accelerator change amount does not exceed the EBP control start
According to the sudden brake determination device of the above-described embodiment, it is possible to set an appropriate EBP control start threshold for all drivers by learning the accelerator pedal return speed pattern for each driver. It is possible to make an appropriate sudden braking determination according to the difference of the driver or the difference of the driving state of the same driver.
For example, the accelerator pedal return operation is quick when the accelerator opening is small, and the driver is slow when the accelerator opening is large, and vice versa, and the accelerator pedal return operation is slow when the accelerator opening is small. When the degree is high, it is possible to deal with both the driver who returns quickly.
