Claims (2)
- 排ガスを浄化する排気浄化装置が排気系に設けられ、気筒内で燃焼させるための燃料が第1燃料として当該気筒内に供給されるとともに、未燃燃料が第2燃料として前記排気浄化装置に供給される内燃機関において、前記気筒への吸気量、前記第1燃料量および前記第2燃料量を制御することによって、前記排気浄化装置よりも下流側の排ガスの空燃比を制御する内燃機関の空燃比制御装置であって、
当該内燃機関は、前記気筒内に吸入される新気量を変更可能な新気量可変機構と、前記前記気筒内に吸入される不活性ガス量を変更可能な不活性ガス量可変機構と、を備えており、
前記排気浄化装置よりも下流側に設けられ、排ガス中の酸素濃度を表す検出信号を出力する酸素濃度検出手段と、
前記酸素濃度検出手段の出力値の目標となる目標出力値を設定する目標出力値設定手段と、
所定の第1フィードバック制御アルゴリズムを用いて、前記酸素濃度検出手段の前記出力値が前記目標出力値に収束するように、前記吸気量を制御する吸気量制御手段と、
所定の第2フィードバック制御アルゴリズムを用いて、前記酸素濃度検出手段の前記出力値が前記目標出力値に収束するように、前記第2燃料量を制御する第2燃料量制御手段と、
を備え、
前記第1フィードバック制御アルゴリズムでは、前記出力値の前記目標出力値への収束速度が、前記第2フィードバック制御アルゴリズムにおける前記出力値の前記目標出力値への収束速度よりも遅くなるように構成されており、
前記吸気量制御手段は、
前記第1フィードバック制御アルゴリズムを用いて、前記酸素濃度検出手段の前記出力値が前記目標出力値に収束するように、前記吸気量を制御するための吸気量制御入力を算出する吸気量制御入力算出手段と、
当該吸気量制御入力を、前記新気量を制御するための新気量制御入力と、前記不活性ガス量を制御するための不活性ガス量制御入力とに分配する分配手段と、
当該新気量制御入力を用いて、前記新気量可変機構を制御する新気量制御手段と、
前記不活性ガス量制御入力を用いて、前記不活性ガス量可変機構を制御する不活性ガス量制御手段と、
を有することを特徴とする請内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記分配手段は、前記吸気量制御入力を前記新気量制御入力と前記不活性ガス量制御入力とに分配する分配率を、当該分配率と前記内燃機関の運転状態および/または排気系温度との関係を予めスケジューリングしたマップを用いて決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
