Description
Claims (6)
- 複数のゲートラインを有する液晶表示パネルと、
前記ゲートラインの数と異なる数のゲートチャンネルを有するゲート駆動部と、
前記ゲート駆動部へ少なくとも1つのダミーシフトクロックを含むゲートシフトクロック信号を供給するタイミングコントローラーとを備え、
前記ダミーシフトクロックは、前記ゲートシフトクロック信号の1周期または複数周期ごとに発生され、
前記ダミーシフトクロックの幅は、前記ゲートシフトクロック信号の1つ分の幅より小さく、
前記タイミングコントローラーは、前記ゲートラインへのゲートパルスの供給を停止するようにゲート出力イネーブル信号を前記ゲート駆動部へ供給している間に、前記ダミーシフトクロックを供給する
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記ゲートチャンネルの数は、前記ゲートラインの数より多い
請求項1記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記ダミーシフトクロックの数は、前記ゲートラインの数と前記ゲートチャンネルの数の差分と同じである
請求項1又は2記載の液晶表示装置。 - ゲートラインの数及びゲートチャンネルの数の差分を演算するステップと、
前記差分に基づいて少なくとも1つのダミーシフトクロックを含むゲートシフトクロック信号を生成するステップと、
前記ゲートシフトクロック信号に従って前記ゲートラインへゲートパルスを供給するステップとを含み、
前記ダミーシフトクロックは、前記ゲートシフトクロック信号の1周期または複数周期ごとに発生され、
前記ダミーシフトクロックの幅は、前記ゲートシフトクロック信号の1つ分の幅より小さく、
前記ダミーシフトクロックの供給期間は、前記ゲートラインへの前記ゲートパルスの供給を停止するゲート出力イネーブル信号の供給期間内に含まれる
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記ゲートチャンネルの数は、前記ゲートラインの数より多い
請求項4記載の液晶表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記ダミーシフトクロックの数は、前記差分と同じである
請求項4又は5記載の液晶表示装置の駆動方法。
