Description
本発明は、電気化学センサ製造のための改良された工程に関し、詳細には、電気化学センサの構成要素の印刷の前に基板を前処理する改良されたウエブ製造工程に関する。
電気化学センサは、人の血中グルコースの測定を含む様々な診断方法に用いられている。このような電気化学センサの製造では、血液または他の体液を受容するように適合されたサンプル受容セル内に配置される電極を備えた多数の小さなストリップを製造する。体液により、セルの電極間の回路が完成する。電極は通常、血中の分析物と反応して中間分析物を形成する少なくとも1種類の試薬でコーティングされている。この中間分析物は、電極における電流または電荷を測定するように適合された測定器によって測定することができる。このような電気化学セルの製造には、極めて小さな空間に電極材料、絶縁材料、及び試薬の複数の層を体積させる必要がある。このような層の精度及び配置は、この装置の最終的な機能に極めて重要である。更に、コストを抑えて要求を満たすためには、超高速で層間が絶対精度で整合するように電気化学センサを製造することが必須である。
本発明は、複数の印刷ステップを含むウエブ製造工程で基板を前処理する方法に関する。一実施形態では、本発明の方法は、基板を張った状態でウエブ工程を通過させ、基板が印刷ステップを通過する時に基板を加熱する。この発明では、全ての印刷ステップの前に、基板を前処理ステーションを通過させる。この前処理ステーションでは、基板を、残りの工程で基板がさらされる温度以上の所定の温度まで加熱する。前処理工程中に基板を加熱する温度は、約160℃とすることができる。前処理ステーションは、基板から不純物を除去するように適合された少なくとも1つの表面清浄ステーションも含むことができる。

Claims (11)
- 複数の印刷ステップを含む電気化学センサ製造方法であって、
電気化学センサ製造方法を通して前記基板を張った状態で、前記基板を動かすステップと、
前記基板を前処理ステーションに移送し、前記基板を第1の所定温度まで加熱する前処理ステップと、
前記基板が印刷ステーションを通過する時に、前記基板を第2の所定の温度まで加熱するステップと、を含み、
前記前処理ステップにおける前記第1の所定の温度が、前記第2の所定の温度より高いことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記前処理ステップの後続の段階で、前記基板の温度が、前記第1の所定温度以上にならないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の所定温度が140℃であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記前処理ステーションが、前記基板から不純物を除去するように適合された少なくとも1つの表面清浄ステーションを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の所定温度が160℃であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記基板を、前記第1の所定温度まで加熱する前に所定の張力をかけることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記前処理ステップの後続の段階で、前記基板にかかる張力が、前記所定の張力以上にならないことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記前処理ステップの後続の段階で、前記基板の温度が、前記第1の所定温度以上にならないことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記前処理ステーションが、前記基板から不純物を除去するように適合された少なくとも1つの表面清浄ステーションを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の張力が165Nであり、前記第2の所定温度が140℃であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の張力が165Nであり、前記第1の所定温度が160℃であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
