Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係るエンジンの概略構成を示している。図1において、エンジン10のクランクシャフト12には、ギヤ等の動力伝達機構14を介して電動モータ16が接続されている。電動モータ16は、可変電圧装置18を介してバッテリ20に接続されており、始動時に動作してエンジン10をクランキングする。可変電圧装置18は、バッテリ20から電動モータ16に供給する電圧を可変して電動モータ16の出力を制御する。
Claims (2)
- 始動時に電動モータによってクランキングを行うと共に吸気バルブの閉タイミングを下死点に近づける制御を行うエンジンの始動装置において、
前記吸気バルブの閉タイミングを下死点に近づける制御の実行中に前記エンジン燃焼運転を行わせ、
前記吸気バルブの閉タイミングを検出し、検出した吸気バルブ閉タイミングが下死点に近づくほど前記電動モータのトルクを低下させることを特徴とするエンジンの始動装置。 - 所定のクランキング回転速度を維持するように前記電動モータに供給する電圧を減少させることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジンの始動装置。
