Claims (10)
- 吸気弁の作動角を連続的に変更可能な第1可変動弁機構と、上記作動角の中心角を連続的に変更可能な第2可変動弁機構と、を備え、機関の吸入空気量が相対的に少ない第1領域では主に上記作動角を変更して吸入空気量を調整するとともに吸入空気量が相対的に多い第2領域では主に上記中心角を変更して吸入空気量を調整するようにした内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置において、
内燃機関の運転状態に基づいて作動角の静的目標値および中心角の静的目標値を逐次算出する目標値算出手段と、
第2領域において上記中心角の静的目標値と該中心角の実際値との間に偏差が生じるような急激な負荷増加を所定の過渡運転と判定する過渡運転判定手段と、
この第2領域における過渡運転の期間に、上記作動角の静的目標値を増大補正する補正手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。 - 上記過渡運転判定手段は、アクセル開度もしくはこれから算出される目標吸入空気量が上記第2領域に対応する範囲内にあり、かつ上記アクセル開度もしくは上記目標吸入空気量の変化率が所定値以上である場合に、上記の過渡運転であると判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記過渡運転判定手段は、上記中心角の目標値と該中心角の実際値との間の偏差が所定値以上となった場合に、上記の過渡運転であると判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記補正手段は、上記アクセル開度もしくは上記目標吸入空気量の変化率に応じた補正量を、上記作動角の静的目標値に加えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記補正手段は、上記偏差に応じた補正量を、上記作動角の静的目標値に加えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 現在の中心角から作動角上限値を算出する作動角上限値算出手段と、
過渡運転時に作動角の目標値が上記作動角上限値を越えないように制限する作動角制限手段と、
をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。 - 上記作動角上限値算出手段は、現在の中心角において空気量が最大となる作動角を作動角上限値とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記作動角上限値算出手段は、現在の中心角において空気量が最大となる作動角に上記第1可変動弁機構の応答遅れ分を加えた値を作動角上限値とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記作動角上限値算出手段は、現在の中心角において空気量が最大となる作動角と、吸気弁とピストンとが干渉しない範囲で最大となる作動角と、の中で小さい方の値を作動角上限値とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記作動角上限値算出手段は、現在の中心角において空気量が最大となる作動角と、吸気弁とピストンとが干渉しない範囲で最大となる作動角と、の中で小さい方の値に、さらに上記第1可変動弁機構の応答遅れ分を加えた値を、作動角上限値とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
