Description
特にポスト噴射を用いて排気系を還元雰囲気にしている時に触媒温度が上昇したときは、ポスト噴射を停止することで触媒温度の上昇を防ぎ、さらに温度が上昇する場合は、排気中の未燃成分が過多であると判断し、主噴射量でリッチ化することによって排気系へ供給される酸素量および未燃成分を減らして反応熱の発生を抑制し、これによって排気系の昇温を防ぐことができる。

Claims (1)
- 排気系に直列に設けられた排気処理手段およびNOX浄化触媒と、該NO X 浄化触媒内を所定の温度と所定の空燃比とが両立した雰囲気に制御することで、該NOX浄化触媒に捕捉された硫黄分を除去する再生処理手段とを有する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記排気処理手段の温度を検出する第1の温度検出手段と、
前記NOX浄化触媒の温度を検出する第2の温度検出手段と、
前記排気系の温度を制御する複数の温度制御手段と、
前記再生処理手段の実行中において、前記第1の温度検出手段の出力が前記排気処理手段の劣化が懸念される温度領域であるか否かに基づいて、前記排気処理手段の劣化懸念度を判定するとともに、前記第2の温度検出手段の出力が前記NOX浄化触媒の劣化が懸念される温度領域であるか否かに基づいて、前記NOX浄化触媒の劣化懸念度を判定する判定手段と、
前記判定手段の判定結果に基づいて、前記複数の温度制御手段のいずれかを選択する制御モード選択手段とを備え、
前記複数の温度制御手段は、燃焼時の主噴射の噴射量によって空燃比を制御する主噴射量制御手段と、主噴射の後に行う副噴射の噴射量によって空燃比を制御する副噴射量制御手段とを備え、
前記副噴射量制御手段による温度制御時に、前記排気処理手段と前記NO X 浄化触媒とのいずれか一方が所定の劣化懸念度であると判定された場合には、前記制御モード選択手段が前記主噴射量制御手段による温度制御モードに切り換えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。
