Claims (9)
- 複数の電極から形成された放電セルを有するプラズマディスプレイパネルを駆動する駆動装置において、
第1電圧を有する第1電圧電源と、
前記第1電圧電源に向かう電流の流れを遮断する第1トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタと前記電極との間に電気的に連結され、前記第1トランジスタと同じチャネル型で形成されている第2トランジスタと、
前記第1電圧電源に電気的に連結され、第2電圧を保持することができるキャパシタと、
前記キャパシタに保持された第2電圧を前記電極にさらに供給するように許容する第3トランジスタと、
前記第1電圧より低い第3電圧を有する第3電圧電源と、
前記電極と電気的に連結された第4トランジスタと、
前記第4トランジスタと前記第3電圧電源との間に連結され、前記第4トランジスタに向かう電流の流れを遮断する第5トランジスタと、
を含み、
前記第1トランジスタおよび前記第2トランジスタは、バックツーバック方式で連結され、前記第1、第3、および第5トランジスタは、電界効果トランジスタであり、前記第2および第4トランジスタは、電界効果トランジスタまたはIGBT素子であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。 - 前記第1トランジスタのソースが、前記第1電圧電源に電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 前記第1トランジスタのドレーンが、前記第1電圧電源に電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 前記第3トランジスタに定電流が流れるように制御する定電流ドライバーをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 前記第3トランジスタに定電流が流れるように制御する定電流ドライバーをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 前記第4トランジスタおよび第5トランジスタは、バックツーバック方式で連結されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 前記電極に印加された電圧をランプ下降させるランプ下降駆動部をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル駆動装置。
- 維持電極及び走査電極と、アドレス電極との間に放電セルが形成されるプラズマディスプレイパネルと、
リセット期間、アドレス期間、及び維持放電期間の間に前記維持電極、走査電極、及びアドレス電極に駆動電圧を印加する駆動回路と、
を含み、
前記駆動回路は、
第1電圧を供給する第1電圧電源に向かう電流の流れを遮断する第1トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタと前記電極との間に電気的に連結され、前記第1トランジスタと同じチャネル型で形成されている第2トランジスタと、
第2電圧を保持することができるキャパシタと、
前記キャパシタに保持された第2電圧を前記電極にさらに供給するように許容する第3トランジスタと、
前記電極と電気的に連結された第4トランジスタと、
前記第1電圧より低い第3電圧を有する第3電圧電源と前記第4トランジスタとの間に連結され、前記第4トランジスタに向かう電流の流れを遮断する第5トランジスタと、
を含み、
前記第1トランジスタおよび前記第2トランジスタは、バックツーバック方式で連結され、前記第1、第3、および第5トランジスタは、電界効果トランジスタであり、前記第2および第4トランジスタは、電界効果トランジスタまたはIGBT素子であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第4トランジスタおよび第5トランジスタは、バックツーバック方式で連結されることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のプラズマディスプレイ装置。
