Description
図11には最近の携帯電話の一例を示す。同図の(a)は開放状態の斜視図、(b)は同平面図、(c)は90°展開平面図、(d)は待受け状態の平面図をそれぞれ示す。かかる携帯電話においては、図11(a)に示すように旋回動作させる機構を付加し、図11(d)に示すようにモニター106を設けてある方の面を表に向けて筐体を閉じる(これを待受け状態と呼ぶ)ことで、着信メール等の情報を目視で確認できるようにしたものである。このような携帯電話では相手からの通話に応答する場合、モニター筐体を旋回させて(b)に示す開放状態にする必要がある。
また圧接部材が前記溝と接する面をほぼ球状とすることによって、当接移動がすみやかになる効果を示す。
尚、摺動部材3の摺動面には、クリック溝3−2の他に図示されていないが安定した摺動トルクを確保するために圧接部材4が円周方向に沿って当接移動する軌跡部が溝構造になっていても良い。摺動部材3は、金属、プラスチックなどの成形、焼結品が使用でき、摩耗および耐久性に合わせて熱処理で硬度を調整し、さらにメッキ、窒化処理等の表面硬化処理を行っても良い。
図1には、圧接部材を2組設置した例を示すが、前項の摺動部材3の説明で示した如く必要なクリック特性により2組以上設置しても良い。複数個設置するケースでは回転側部材の軸心からの距離がそれぞれ異なる円周部に設置しても良い。圧接部材4も摺動部材3と同様な摩耗および耐久性が必要であり熱処理による硬度調整、メッキ、窒化処理等の表面硬化処理を行ったものが使用される。
ね6のばね力を調整することで容易に回転動作の異なるヒンジが実現可能である。
本発明の二軸ヒンジを備えた携帯電話は、図11に示す携帯電話に、本発明の開閉トルクユニット機構12他を組み込んで、クリックトルクを下げずに摺動トルクを低減できるため軽い操作感で旋回動作が可能な携帯電話を実現できる。

Claims (6)
- 回転軸及び開閉軸を有する二軸構成で、貫通孔を有する回転軸部材を回転軸支持部材に固定し、回転軸部材と同期して回転するように配置した摺動部材と、前記回転軸部材を中心に回転するように回転軸部材に外挿された回転側部材と、前記摺動部材の前記回転側部材と対向する面に設けられたクリックを発生するために1つ以上の径方向に伸びたV形状の溝と、前記回転側部材の前記摺動部材と対向する面に回転軸中心に対向して2つの穴を設け、かつ、2組の圧接部材のそれぞれを収納して前記2組の圧接部材のそれぞれの動作をガイドするガイド部材と、前記2組の圧接部材をそれぞれ独立に押圧する弾性体を埋設し、前記圧接部材における溝と接する面が球状であって、前記回転軸部材と直交させて回転動作と独立して開閉動作を行う回転軸を有する開閉トルクユニット機構を回転側部材に設けたことを特徴とする二軸ヒンジ。
- 前記圧接部材は、前記弾性体と接する面に凸部を有する請求項1記載の二軸ヒンジ。
- 前記圧接部材は、円筒状である請求項1又は2に記載の二軸ヒンジ。
- 前記弾性体は、コイルばね、皿ばね、波板ばね、薄板ばねのいずれかである請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の二軸ヒンジ。
- 回転軸部材と回転側部材との間で回転範囲を規制する回転ストッパ機構を設けた請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の二軸ヒンジ。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の二軸ヒンジを備えた電子機器。
