(比較例1)
シクロヘキシルベンゼンを電解液に添加しなかった以外は実施例2と同様にして非水二次電池を作製した。
(比較例2)
セパレータとして、厚さが20μmで、TD方向の150℃での熱収縮率が34%の微孔性ポリエチレンフィルム(透気度:240秒/100ml、MD方向の引っ張り強度:1.4×108N/m2、TD方向の引っ張り強度:1.3×108N/m2)を用いた以外は、実施例2と同様にして非水二次電池を作製した。
(比較例3)
セパレータとして、厚さが20μmで、透気度が590秒/100mlの微孔性ポリエチレンフィルム(MD方向の引っ張り強度:1.3×108N/m2、TD方向の引っ張り強度:9.3×107N/m2、TD方向の150℃での熱収縮率:10%)を用いた以外は、実施例2と同様にして非水二次電池を作製した。
(比較例4)
セパレータとして、厚さが25μmの微孔性ポリエチレンフィルム(透気度:650秒/100ml、MD方向の引っ張り強度:1.1×108N/m2、TD方向の引っ張り強度:1.0×108N/m2、TD方向の150℃での熱収縮率:20%)を用いた以外は、実施例2と同様にして非水二次電池を作製した。

Claims (14)
- 正極と、負極と、セパレータと、非水電解液とを備えた非水二次電池であって、
前記正極と前記負極とは前記セパレータを介して積層されて電極積層体を構成し、
前記非水電解液は、電解液の全質量に対して2〜15質量%の芳香族化合物を含有し、
前記セパレータは、MD方向とTD方向とを有し、前記TD方向の150℃での熱収縮率が30%以下であり、
前記セパレータの厚さが5〜20μm、その透気度が500秒/100ml以下であり、
0.2Cで4.25Vまで充電し、その後は4.25Vで7時間定電圧充電を行った後、防爆型恒温槽に入れ、20℃から5℃/分の昇温速度で150℃まで昇温させ、150℃で60分間電池を保持する試験中の電池の表面温度の最高到達温度が165℃以下であることを特徴とする非水二次電池。 - 前記芳香族化合物が、芳香環にアルキル基が結合した化合物および芳香環にハロゲン基が結合した化合物からなる請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記非水電解液が、前記芳香環にアルキル基が結合した化合物を電解液の全質量に対して0.5〜8質量%含有し、前記芳香環にハロゲン基が結合した化合物を電解液の全質量に対して1〜12質量%含有している請求項2に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記非水電解液が、電解液の全体積に対して、90体積%未満40体積%以上の鎖状カーボネートを含み、かつ、80体積%未満1体積%以上の環状カーボネートを含む請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記非水電解液が、−SO2−結合を有する溶媒を含む請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記セパレータのMD方向の引っ張り強度が、6.8×107N/m2以上である請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記セパレータのMD方向の引っ張り強度S1に対する、TD方向の引っ張り強度S2の比S2/S1が、0.5〜0.95である請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記セパレータの突き刺し強度が、2.9N以上である請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記セパレータが、120℃の温度で熱処理されている請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記正極が、リチウム複合酸化物を正極活物質として含む請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質の比表面積が、1m2/g以下である請求項10に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記正極が導電助剤として炭素材料を含み、前記炭素材料の使用量が正極材料の全質量に対して5質量%以下である請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記負極が、リチウムイオンを可逆的にドープ、脱ドープできる材料を負極活物質として含む請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
- 前記正極および前記負極から選ばれる少なくとも一つが、リチウム塩をあらかじめ含む請求項1に記載の非水二次電池。
