Description
重合体試料0.1gを100mlのクロロホルムに溶解させ、30℃の水浴中で一定温度に保ったユーベロード型粘度計を用いて測定した。
得られたパウダーコンパウンド(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物非発泡成形体)の比重を測定したのち、東洋精機(株)製ラボプラストミル付属の小型単軸押出機で成形し、得られた丸棒状発泡成形体(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物の発泡成形体)の比重を測定し、その測定値をもとに次式により発泡倍率を算出した。
発泡倍率=(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物非発泡成形体の比重)/(塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物の発泡成形体の比重)
スクリュー:L/D=20、圧縮比=2.7、回転数=30rpm
ダイス:直径=5mm、ランド=20mm
成形温度:C1=170℃、C2=175℃、C3=180℃、ダイス=185℃
次式により重合転化率を算出した。
重合転化率(%)={重合体生成量/単量体仕込み量}×100
得られたラテックスについて、日立製作所(株)製のU−2000スペクトロフォトメーターを使用して546nmの波長の光散乱を用いて平均粒子径を測定した。
得られた成形体のセル形態については、外観性を目視観察し、以下の基準で評価した。
○:セル構造が均一であり、外観がすぐれているもの。
△:破壊されたセルが散在しているもの。
×:大部分のセルが潰れてしまっており、外観がわるいもの。
撹拌機付き8リットル反応器に乳化剤としてあらかじめ水に溶解したジオクチルスルホコハク酸ソーダ0.7部を入れ、さらに以後加える副原料に含まれる水量もあわせて水の全量を200部となるように水を加えた。前記反応器内の気相部および液相部にチッ素を流通させることにより空間部および水中の酸素を除去したのち、撹拌しながら内容物を70℃に昇温した。つぎに前記反応器にメタクリル酸メチル(以下、MMAという)68部、アクリル酸ブチル(以下、BAという)12部よりなる1段目単量体混合物を一括追加し、ついで開始剤として過硫酸カリウム0.01部を添加後、1時間撹拌を続け、重合を実質的に完結させた。そののち、MMA6部およびBA14部からなる2段目単量体混合物を1時間あたり30部程度の速度で滴下した。滴下終了後、内容物を90分間、70℃に保ち、そののち冷却して、ラテックスを得、平均粒子径を測定した。結果を表1に示す。
表1に示した処方にしたがって、実施例1と同様にして重合体試料(2)〜(6)をそれぞれ得、各特性値を測定した。また、得られた重合体試料(2)〜(6)を用いて、それぞれ実施例1と同様にしてポリ塩化ビニルと配合し、丸棒状発泡成形体を得、前記評価を行なった。結果を表1に示す。
実施例3で用いた重合体試料(3)のポリ塩化ビニルへの配合量をかえた場合の発泡性の違いについて評価するために、実施例3で用いた重合体試料(3)のポリ塩化ビニル100部に対する配合量を10.0部のかわりに表2に記載の配合量にし、そのほかは実施例3と同様にして成形体を得、発泡性を評価した。結果を表2に示す。ただし、比較例4の場合には、組成物の不均一性が増して、発泡性を評価するのに適した成形体を得ることができなかった。
加工性改良剤の塩化ビニル系樹脂への配合量および熱分解型発泡剤の種類、配合量による発泡性の変化を評価するために、重合体試料(3)の配合量および発泡剤の種類、配合量を表3に記載のとおりにかえたほかは実施例3と同様にして成形体を得、発泡性の評価を行なった。結果を表3に示す。
Claims (2)
- 塩化ビニル系樹脂100重量部、加工性改良剤として0.1gを100mlのクロロホルムに溶解した溶液の30℃における比粘度が0.73以上である(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系重合体5〜30重量部および熱分解型無機発泡剤2〜25重量部からなる有機溶剤系発泡剤および木粉を含まない組成物であって、非発泡成形体の比重/発泡成形体の比重により表わされる発泡倍率が5倍以上である発泡性塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物。
- 熱分解型無機発泡剤が重炭酸ナトリウムである請求項1記載の発泡性塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物。
