Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some internal combustion engines use liquid phase liquefied fuel gas such as LPG as fuel. Such a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine liquefies the liquefied fuel gas in a pressurized state at a constant low temperature, stores the liquefied fuel gas in a fuel tank, and supplies the liquefied fuel gas to the injector in a liquid phase.
[0003]
The injector is attached by forming a mounting hole in a partition wall through which intake air circulates inside the cylinder head, the intake pipe wall, and the like, and fuel is injected and supplied to the inside of the partition wall opened at the front end surface of the injector. Fuel vaporizes during injection and takes away a large amount of latent heat of vaporization. As a result, water in the intake air freezes (icing) in the vicinity of the injector nozzle hole and adheres to the periphery of the nozzle hole, forming ice blocks that block the nozzle hole. May grow. As a result, the substantial opening area of the nozzle hole is reduced, and the fuel flow rate changes. As a result, after growing into an ice block, the ice block suddenly detaches, and repeating this causes a problem that the fuel injection amount increases and decreases and the air-fuel ratio fluctuates.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-264228 discloses a fuel circulation path formed by a supply pipe for supplying fuel from a fuel tank to an injector and a return pipe for recovering surplus fuel from the injector to the fuel tank in order to prevent icing. In the middle of this, a heater or a heating unit using heat of cooling water of the internal combustion engine is provided to heat the fuel to prevent the occurrence of icing (first conventional example).
[0005]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-234578 has an anti-icing member that rises in a mortar shape at the injector attachment port of the intake manifold in front of the injection hole of the injector. In this technology, a mortar-shaped anti-icing member is formed before low-temperature intake air reaches the nozzle hole in order to avoid the occurrence of icing due to condensation on the nozzle hole after the engine stops when the outside air is below freezing. Condensation occurs on the surface (second conventional example).
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the first conventional example, when applied to an internal combustion engine using liquefied fuel gas, there is a problem that when the fuel is heated, the fuel is easily vaporized and the metering accuracy of the injection amount is lowered.
[0007]
Further, in the second conventional example, since it is necessary to sufficiently condense the moisture in the intake air, the anti-icing member is opened in a mortar shape so that the heat transfer area is as wide as possible, and the internal combustion engine using liquefied fuel gas is used. When applied, the heat around the nozzle hole is gradually taken away by heat transfer from the anti-icing member arranged so as to surround the nozzle hole to the injected fuel. For this reason, icing tends to occur.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine that can prevent icing without causing vaporization.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the mounting hole of the injector is formed in the partition wall through which the intake air flows, the injector is held in the mounting hole, and mixed with the intake air from the injection hole opened in the tip end surface of the injector to the inside of the partition wall. In a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine that supplies fuel that forms air, the injector is held in the mounting hole via a holding member made of a heat insulating material,
The fuel is liquefied fuel gas,
From the nozzle hole of the injectorIn liquid phaseProviding a fuel guide channel for guiding the injected fuel to the inside of the partition;
The fuel flow pathA through hole that reaches the inside of the partition wall at the formation position thereof, surrounds the fuel guide flow path, and part of the partition wall that transfers heat from the partition wall, or is disposed in contact with the partition wall. Formed with a sex member,
In addition, the area of the wall surface of the fuel guide channel is set to be smaller than the heat transfer area of a part that defines heat transfer from a part of the partition wall or the heat conductive member to the fuel guide channel wall surface.A structure for supplying heat to the vicinity of the outlet of the fuel guide channel; To do.
[0010]
Unlike the second conventional example in which the anti-icing member is open toward the intake passage, the fuel injected from the injector nozzle hole has a heat receiving area in the fuel guide passage that differs from that in the fuel guide passage. Since the area of the flow path wall is limited, vaporization is suppressed and the fuel guide flow path is circulated in a gas-liquid mixed state. And when it reaches the outlet of the fuel guide channel, the heat receiving area increases, so that it rapidly vaporizes. The fuel guide channel is surrounded by a part of the partition wall or a thermally conductive member that contacts the partition wall, and heat is transferred from the partition wall or the outer peripheral partition wall through these parts. Here, the area of the fuel guide channel wall that is deprived of heat by the fuel is limited to be smaller than the heat transfer area of a part of the partition wall or the part that defines heat transfer from the heat conductive member to the fuel guide channel wall surface. Therefore, in the vicinity of the fuel guide channel, the supply of heat from the partition tends to be greater than the heat absorbed by the fuel, and in the vicinity of the outlet of the fuel guide channel, heat is supplied from the partition and the temperature decreases. Therefore, icing can be prevented.
[0011]
In addition, since the injector is held in the mounting hole via a holding member made of a heat insulating material, heat transfer from the partition wall can be suppressed, and vaporization of fuel in the injector can be prevented. .
[0012]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first aspect of the present invention, a portion having a low thermal conductivity is provided on the outer periphery of the fuel guide channel in the vicinity of the fuel guide channel.
[0013]
By providing the low thermal conductivity portion in the vicinity of the fuel guide channel, the heat transfer is suppressed, so that the heat gained by the circulating fuel is suppressed and further icing can be prevented. In addition, by suppressing this heat removal, excessive heat supply from the partition wall to the vicinity of the fuel guide channel becomes unnecessary, and fuel vaporization in the injector can be further suppressed.
[0014]
In invention of
A cylindrical member constituting the innermost peripheral portion of the flow path wall of the fuel guide flow path is inserted into the through hole to form the low thermal conductivity portion.
[0015]
In the innermost peripheral portion of the channel wall of the fuel guide channel closest to the fuel, heat removal by the circulating fuel is suppressed by suppressing heat transfer.
[0016]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the second aspect of the present invention, an annular gap is formed on the outer periphery of the innermost peripheral portion of the flow path wall of the fuel guide flow path to form the low thermal conductivity portion.
[0017]
Since the annular gap serves as a heat transfer barrier, the heat removal site by the circulating fuel is substantially limited to the innermost periphery of the channel wall of the fuel guide channel closest to the fuel, and the heat capacity of the heat sinking site by the circulating fuel Is relatively small. As a result, heat loss due to the circulating fuel is suppressed.
[0018]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first or second aspect of the invention, the tip end surface of the injector where the injection hole opens, the bottom surface of the mounting hole where the through hole opens, or the rear of the thermally conductive member An O-ring is provided between the end faces so that the fuel flowing from the nozzle hole to the fuel guide channel does not flow out to the outer periphery of the O-ring.
[0019]
Since the outer periphery of the O-ring does not become a dead volume, the heat receiving area of the fuel flowing from the nozzle hole to the fuel guide channel is reduced, and the heat removal by the fuel is suppressed, so that icing can be prevented more satisfactorily.
[0020]
In invention of
The mounting hole is closed with the thermally conductive member on the tip end side of the injector, and is integrally coupled with the injector tip portion, and a cylindrical portion having the inside as the fuel guide channel at a position facing the injection hole. Providing a protruding channel member,
A gap is formed between the heat conductive member and the flow path member.
[0021]
Since the flow path member is integrated with the injector, the relative position between the injection hole and the fuel guide flow path does not change regardless of the state of attachment of the injector to the partition wall. As a result, it is possible to prevent changes in ejection characteristics with time and variations between apparatuses.
[0022]
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first to sixth aspects of the present invention, a groove-shaped recess is formed in a part of the partition wall where the outlet of the fuel guide channel opens or on the surface of the heat conductive member. To do.
[0023]
Water droplets condensed while the internal combustion engine is stopped are prevented from entering from the outlet of the fuel guide passage, and the fuel guide passage is blocked by ice at low temperatures to prevent startability from deteriorating. can do.
[0024]
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first to seventh aspects of the invention, a part of the partition wall or the heat conductive member is protruded inside the partition wall.
[0025]
Since the flow rate of the intake air increases as the distance from the partition wall increases, the fuel injected from the outlet of the fuel guide channel flows quickly downstream of the intake air. This prevents the fuel from staying in the vicinity of the outlet of the fuel guide channel, and further suppresses the vicinity of the outlet from being deprived of heat by the fuel injected from the outlet of the fuel guide channel.
