In order to improve these problems, a voltage control type filter described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-56351 has been proposed. In the voltage control type filter described in the publication, the junction capacitances of four variable capacitance diodes are controlled by two complementary control voltages, and a high-frequency cutoff frequency is set based on the control voltage. However, since this voltage control type filter does not have a function of generating a bias voltage necessary for the signal processing circuit connected to the next stage, when used in video electronic equipment such as a liquid crystal display device, the

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to claim 1 is compatible with various video electronic devices having different frequency bands of the output video signal, and is optimal for the frequency band of the video signal of the video electronic device to be used. In accordance with a variable frequency filter that sets a region cut-off frequency and outputs an output signal within the frequency band by applying a predetermined bias voltage,A bias circuit that divides a control voltage generated corresponding to a frequency band of the video signal to generate a first bias voltage and a second bias voltage, and allows only an AC component of the video signal to pass; Connected to the bias circuit,A filter circuit that filters the AC component of the video signal under a predetermined high-frequency cutoff frequency and outputs the first bias voltage or the second bias voltage as the predetermined bias voltage. The operation of the variable frequency filter of this embodiment will be described with reference to these drawings.
The input signal in is blocked by the

This AC component causes the bias voltages VB1 and VB2 across the
[0024]
The change in capacitance due to the AC component of the variable capacitance diodes 42 and 43 is completely canceled when the bias voltage / capacitance characteristics of the variable capacitance diodes 42 and 43 are linear, and completely when the variable capacitance diodes 42 and 43 are non-linear. Are not canceled out, and the capacitive component generated by the AC component remains slightly.
[0025]
That is, if the bias voltage / capacitance characteristics of the variable capacitance diodes 42 and 43 are linear, even if the bias voltages VB1 and VB2 change due to the AC component of the input signal in, the changes in the capacitances are large in opposite directions. Since they are equal, they are completely canceled out, and the parallel combined capacitance of the variable capacitance diodes 42 and 43 is always constant.
[0026]
For example, as shown in FIG. 2, bias voltages VB1 and VB2 generated in the

Since they are different, they are not completely canceled out, and the capacitive component due to this AC component remains. However, if the DC components of the bias voltages VB1 and VB2 across the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the configuration of the present invention, the first and second bias voltages applied to the first and second variable capacitance elements are controlled by the control voltage. A variable frequency filter for filtering at an optimum cutoff frequency can be realized with a relatively simple circuit configuration. Furthermore, if the first and second bias voltages are set in a range in which the bias voltage / capacitance characteristics of the first and second variable capacitance elements are linear, regardless of the values of the first and second resistors, Since the change in the electrostatic capacitance of the first and second variable capacitance elements due to the AC component of the input signal is completely canceled, the first and the second can be controlled according to the bias voltage required for the signal processing circuit connected to the next stage. A predetermined bias voltage can be generated by setting the resistance value of the second resistor.
[0042]
Further, in the video electronic apparatus including the variable frequency filter according to the present invention, the high-frequency cutoff frequency of the variable frequency filter accurately corresponds to the upper limit frequency of the frequency band of the input signal. For this reason, a noise component in a band higher than the frequency band of the input signal is removed, and noise is not mixed in the signal processing circuit at the next stage. Furthermore, the signal in the band higher than the high frequency cutoff frequency of the variable frequency filter in the input signal is not blocked, and the signal in the frequency band necessary for the signal processing circuit in the next stage is supplied without excess or deficiency. . Furthermore, since the variable frequency filter generates a bias voltage necessary for the signal processing circuit at the next stage, a separate bias circuit is unnecessary, and the number of parts can be reduced.
