【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sewing machine such as a sewing machine or an embroidery machine that forms a seam with a thread on a sewing object such as a cloth, and in particular, so that an upper thread can be automatically threaded through a sewing needle. Related to the sewing machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a sewing machine main body, a head part provided on the sewing machine body for reciprocating a sewing needle and swinging a balance, and a yarn storage part provided on the head part for individually storing a plurality of upper threads A plurality of sewing needles are provided on the lower end side of the head portion corresponding to each upper thread of the yarn storage portion, and each thread from the yarn storage portion is individually and individually attached to each sewing needle. A sewing machine such as a sewing machine or an embroidery machine is known in which any one of the sewing needles is selectively driven by a needle selection mechanism in the inserted state (threading).
[0003]
In this type of conventional sewing machine, each thread from the thread storage section is individually threaded by manual operation or the like in advance with respect to a plurality of sewing needles provided on the lower end side of the head section.ShiTo do. Next, in this state, one of the sewing needles is selected by the needle selection mechanism, and the selected sewing needle is moved by the head portion so that the cloth is sewn.
[0004]
In this case, a plurality of upper thread bobbins are rotatably arranged in the thread storage portion, and different types of upper threads are wound around the bobbins, and frequently used upper threads are wound. The bobbin is wound around about 2 to 3 bobbins, and each of these bobbins is housed in the yarn housing portion. When the sewing needle is selected by the needle selection mechanism, the upper thread is individually fed out from each of these bobbins, and a seam is formed by sewing on the cloth or the like.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the above-described prior art, a plurality of sewing needles are provided in the head portion of the sewing machine body, and each thread from the thread storage portion is individually threaded manually in advance with respect to each sewing needle. Later, it is configured to select one of the sewing needles with the needle selection mechanism prior to the sewing work, so that not only the entire head portion is enlarged, but also the plurality of sewing needles provided in the head portion are specified in advance. Therefore, there is a problem in that it is a great obstacle to automating sewing work or embroidery work.
[0006]
Further, for example, sewing machines described in JP-A-61-89365, JP-A-6-154453, JP-A-6-182077, JP-A-7-671, and the like (hereinafter referred to as other conventional techniques). Then, for example, a proposal has been made to allow one of a plurality of threads to be selectively inserted into a single sewing needle provided in the head portion, thereby reducing the size of the entire head portion.
[0007]
However, in such other prior art, since an arm member for automatic threading is provided in the vicinity of the sewing needle, for example, when performing sewing work by operating the sewing machine (sewing work) In addition, there is a problem that the arm member or the like becomes an obstacle and the field of view around the sewing needle is limited, and the shape of the seam by the sewing needle becomes difficult to see.
[0008]
In addition, there is a problem that it is not always sufficient to take measures when a thread breakage occurs during the sewing work, and it is difficult to stably detect the thread breakage with high accuracy.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and the present invention can widen the field of view around the sewing needle after automatic threading through the sewing needle. For example, an embroidery pattern in the middle of creation can be easily confirmed. Another object of the present invention is to provide a sewing machine that can smoothly perform an embroidery pattern creation work (sewing machine work).
[0010]
Another object of the present invention is to stably detect the thread breakage with high accuracy even when the thread breakage occurs during the sewing work, and to provide a compact thread breakage sensor or the like. The purpose is to provide a sewing machine.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention of claim 1 is characterized in that the base of the sewing machine and the base end side are installed on the base, the front end side extends on the base, and reciprocates to the front end side. A head portion provided with a sewing needle that swings and a swinging balance, a balance thread passage forming portion provided on a tip side of the head portion for inserting a thread into the balance, and the balance thread passage A thread path forming part for a sewing needle for inserting a thread guided from the forming part into the sewing needle, and a thread path forming part for the sewing needle are rotatably connected to the tip side of the head part, The thread passage forming portion for the sewing needle is advanced toward the sewing needle side when threading through the sewing needle, and the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle is retracted toward the base end side of the head portion after threading. A mechanism, and is provided at the front end side of the head portion so as to be rotatable via the advance / retreat mechanism. A cloth presser that holds a sewing object with the base during a sewing operation, and the advance / retreat mechanism rotates the cloth presser together with the thread passage forming portion for the sewing needle, When the yarn path forming portion is retracted from the sewing needle side, the cloth presser is advanced to the holding position of the sewing object, and when the sewing needle thread path forming portion is advanced to the sewing needle side, the cloth presser is to be sewn. Evacuate from the object holding positionThe cloth presser is attached to the front end side of the head portion via a pin so as to be rotatable, and is rotated by the advance / retreat mechanism, and the pin is separate from the mounting bracket. A holder rotatably attached via a rotation shaft, a presser presser provided so as to be movable up and down with respect to the holder, and an actuator provided in the holder for moving the presser up and down The presser is rotated together with the holder about the rotation axis when the sewing object is replaced. Is adopted.
[0012]
According to the above configuration, when the thread is threaded through the sewing needle, the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle is advanced to the sewing needle side by the advance / retreat mechanism, so that the thread to the sewing needle is formed using the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle. The threading operation can be performed smoothly. After threading through the sewing needle, the advancing / retreating mechanism can retract the sewing needle thread passage forming portion to the base end side of the head portion (the rear side of the sewing machine). It is possible to confirm a seam on a sewing object (for example, cloth) by a sewing needle from a front side with a wide field of view. In addition, when the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle is retracted from the sewing needle side after threading through the sewing needle, the presser foot is moved by the advance / retreat mechanism.Mounting bracket, holder, presser for presser foot, etc.Can be advanced to the holding position of the sewing object, and the work clamp isThe presserThus, the sewing object (cloth) can be stably held with the base.In this case, when the cloth presser is rotated by the advance / retreat mechanism on the distal end side of the head portion, the mounting bracket is rotated together with the holder, the presser for the cloth presser and the like around the pin. And at the time of replacement | exchange of a sewing target object, the said presser can be rotated upward centering | focusing on the said rotating shaft with a holder.
[0016]
The presser foot isIn conjunction with the reciprocating movement of the sewing needle during sewingWith actuatorMove the presser up and downBy, The presserWith actuatorThe cloth can be fed when it is lifted on the cloth. And when replacing the cloth to be sewn, it will beAround the pivot axisTo rotate the holderByThe presser can be rotated upward together with the holder, and the cloth can be easily exchanged in a state where the presser is largely separated from the cloth.
[0017]
Also, Claims2According to the invention, the yarn separating lever that approaches and separates from the balance at a midway position of the yarn path forming portion for the balance in order to absorb the slack of the yarn after threading through the sewing needle at the tip side of the head portion A thread is inserted into the tip side of the thread separating lever at a position adjacent to the balance when threading through the balance, and bends following the movement of the thread at a position away from the balance during sewing work. A deforming thread take-up spring is provided.
[0018]
In this case, the thread separation lever is brought close to the balance when threading the balance, and the thread take-up spring is automatically threaded together with the balance. In addition, when the thread separating lever is moved away from the balance after threading through the sewing needle, the thread is pulled between the balance and the thread take-up spring so that, for example, the slack of the thread extending from the balance to the sewing needle is automatically Can be absorbed. When the sewing work is started in this state, a tensile force is applied to the yarn as the balance swings up and down, and the yarn take-up spring can be bent and deformed following the movement of the yarn at this time. Thread tension corresponding to the amount of deformation can be generated.
[0019]
Claims3In this invention, on the front end side of the head portion, a stopper for stopping the thread separating lever at a position separated from the balance after threading through the sewing needle, and a conductive material that contacts and separates the thread take-up spring during sewing work. A spring breaker is provided, and the spring breaker constitutes a yarn breakage sensor that performs a switching operation each time the yarn take-up spring comes into contact with or separates from the yarn take-up spring.
[0020]
As a result, after threading through the sewing needle, the thread spreading lever can be rotated to a position where it abuts against the stopper, and a tensile force can be applied to the thread between the balance and the thread take-up spring. When starting, by pulling the yarn in accordance with the swing of the balance, the yarn take-up spring can be brought into contact with and separated from the spring receiver while being bent and deformed, and the switching operation can be repeated. And when thread breakage occurs in the middle of the sewing work, the movement of the thread according to the swing of the balance stops and the bending deformation of the thread take-up spring is interrupted, so that the thread take-up spring keeps contacting the spring support, Thread breakage can be detected by stopping the switching operation..

[0091]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle and the cloth presser are rotatably connected to the distal end side of the head portion by the advance / retreat mechanism, and the thread is passed through the sewing needle. Sometimes the thread forming portion for the sewing needle is advanced toward the sewing needle side, and after threading, the thread forming portion for the sewing needle is retracted toward the base end side of the head portion, and the advance / retreat mechanism includes the sewing machine When the needle thread path forming portion is retracted from the sewing needle side, the cloth presser is advanced to the holding position of the sewing object, and when the sewing needle thread path forming portion is advanced to the sewing needle side, the cloth presser is Retract from the sewing object holding position. The cloth presser is attached to the front end side of the head portion via a pin so as to be rotatable, and is rotated by the advance / retreat mechanism, and the rotation shaft is separate from the pin with respect to the mounting bracket. A holder attached so as to be pivotable via a presser, a presser for a presser foot provided so as to be movable up and down with respect to the holder, and an actuator provided in the holder for moving the presser up and down. When replacing the sewing object, the presser is rotated together with the holder about the rotation axis. Therefore, when the thread is threaded through the sewing needle, the thread passage forming portion for the sewing needle is advanced to the sewing needle side by the advance / retreat mechanism, so that the threading operation to the sewing needle can be smoothly performed using the thread passage forming portion for the sewing needle. It can be carried out. After threading through the sewing needle, the advance / retreat mechanism can retract the sewing needle thread path forming portion to the proximal end side of the head portion, and after the automatic threading through the sewing needle, the field of view around the sewing needle can be viewed. The seam of the sewing object can be easily confirmed, the sewing work can be performed smoothly, and the workability can be greatly improved.
[0092]
Moreover, by using the advance / retreat mechanism, when the thread path forming portion for the sewing needle is retracted from the sewing needle side after threading through the sewing needle, the cloth presserMounting bracket, holder, presser for presser foot, etc.Can be automatically advanced to the holding position of the sewing object. And this sewing presserThe presserAs a result, the sewing object can be stably held between the sewing machine and the base, and this also facilitates the sewing work and improves workability.
[0093]
in this caseWhen working on the sewing machineIsThe presser can be moved up and down in conjunction with the reciprocating movement of the sewing needle by the actuator of the presser foot, and the cloth can be fed smoothly when the presser is lifted upward from the embroidery object. In addition, when replacing the sewing object, do notAround the pivot axisBy rotating the holder, the presser can be rotated upward together with the holder, and the sewing object can be easily exchanged in a state where the presser is largely separated from the sewing object.
[0094]
Also, Claims2In this invention, the thread separating lever is moved closer to the balance when threading the balance, the thread take-up spring is automatically threaded together with the balance, and the thread separating lever is separated from the balance after threading to the sewing needle. Therefore, by pulling the thread between the balance and the thread take-up springWhatFor example, it can automatically absorb slack in the thread that extends from the balance to the sewing needle. The AndWhen the sewing machine is started in this state, the thread take-up spring is bent and deformed following the movement of the thread while applying tension to the thread as the balance swings up and down, and the thread take-up spring is deformed. Generate yarn tension according to the amountTo doit can.
[0095]
Claims3In this invention, since the thread breakage sensor is constituted by the spring receiver and the thread take-up spring provided on the tip side of the head portion, when the sewing work is started, by pulling the thread according to the swing of the balance, The yarn take-off spring can be deformed and brought into contact with and separated from the spring support so that the yarn breakage sensor can be switched. And when thread breakage occurs in the middle of the sewing work, the movement of the thread according to the swing of the balance stops and the bending deformation of the thread take-up spring is interrupted, so that the thread take-up spring keeps contacting the spring support, Thread breakage can be detected by stopping the switching operation. Therefore, even if the thread breakage occurs during the sewing operation, the thread breakage sensor composed of the thread take-up spring and the spring receiver can stably detect the thread breakage of the thread with high accuracy. Can be configured compactly using a judgment lever, etc..
