Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a field of vision around a sewing needle on a sewing machine after automatic introduction of thread through the sewing needle and thereby ensure smooth operation to create an embroidered pattern. SOLUTION: A part 22 in which a thread guide for a sewing needle of a sewing machine is formed is connected to the head end part 3B of a head part 3, in a freely rotating manner, with a part 15 in which a relay thread guide is formed. When passing the thread into the sewing needle, the part 22 in which a thread guide for a sewing needle is formed is caused to move forward to the sewing needle side. In addition, after the thread is already introduced through the sewing needle, the part 22 is retreated to the fixed end 3A side of the head part 3 as indicated by an arrow C with the help of a forward/ backward movement mechanism. Thus it is possible to recognize the sew line of an embroidered cloth under a broad field of vision from the front side of the sewing machine. Further, a cloth holding tool 35 is rotated with the part 22 and then is moved forward to a position where the embroidered cloth is held, when the part 22 is retreated from the sewing needle side.

In this case, the thread separating lever is brought close to the balance when threading the thread to the balance, and the thread is automatically threaded to the thread take-up spring together with the balance. In addition, when the thread separating lever is separated from the balance after threading the sewing machine needle, the thread is pulled between the balance and the thread take-up spring, so that, for example, the slack of the thread extending from the balance to the sewing needle is automatically adjusted. Can be absorbed. Then, when the sewing machine operation is started in this state, a tensile force is applied to the thread as the balance swings up and down, and the thread take-up spring can be deformed by following the movement of the thread at this time. In addition, it is possible to generate a yarn tension according to the deformation amount.

Thus, after threading the sewing machine needle, the thread separating lever is rotated to a position where it comes into contact with the stopper,
A tensile force can be applied to the thread between the balance and the thread take-up spring. When the sewing machine starts working in this state, the thread is pulled in accordance with the swing of the balance, so that the thread take-up spring is deformed and deformed. And the switching operation can be repeated. If the thread breaks during the sewing operation, the movement of the thread according to the swing of the balance stops, and the bending deformation of the thread take-up spring is interrupted.
The thread take-up spring keeps in contact with the spring receiver, and it is possible to detect a thread break by stopping the switching operation.

As described above in detail, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the thread path forming portion for the sewing machine needle is rotatably connected to the leading end side of the head portion by the reciprocating mechanism, and the threading to the sewing machine needle is performed. Sometimes the thread path forming section for the sewing machine needle is advanced toward the sewing machine needle, and after the threading, the thread path forming section for the sewing machine is retracted toward the base end side of the head section. By making the thread path forming section for the sewing machine advance toward the sewing needle side by the advance / retreat mechanism at the time of threading, the threading operation to the sewing needle can be performed smoothly using the thread path forming section for the sewing needle. Then, after threading the sewing machine needle, the advance / retreat mechanism can retract the thread path forming portion for the sewing machine needle to the base end side of the head portion, and after the automatic threading to the sewing machine needle, the field of view around the sewing machine needle can be reduced. The sewing machine can be easily widened, the stitches of the sewing object can be easily checked, the sewing operation can be performed smoothly, and the workability can be greatly improved.

On the other hand, according to the invention of claim 4, the thread separating lever is brought close to the balance when threading the thread to the balance, the thread is automatically threaded to the thread take-up spring together with the balance, and the thread is threaded to the sewing machine needle. Since the separating lever is separated from the balance, the slack of the thread extending from the balance to the sewing needle can be automatically absorbed by pulling the thread between the balance and the thread take-up spring. When the balance is started, a tension is applied to the thread as the balance swings up and down, and the thread take-up spring is flexed and deformed following the movement of the thread at this time, and the thread takes an amount corresponding to the amount of deformation of the thread take-up spring. Can generate tension.

According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the thread break sensor is constituted by the spring receiver and the thread take-up spring provided on the front end side of the head portion, so that when the sewing machine operation starts, the balance swings. By pulling the thread accordingly, the thread take-up spring can be brought into contact with the spring receiver while being flexibly deformed, and the thread break sensor can be switched. And if a thread break occurs during the sewing operation,
Since the movement of the thread according to the swing of the balance stops and the bending deformation of the thread take-up spring is interrupted, the thread take-up spring keeps in contact with the spring receiver, and it is possible to detect the thread breakage by stopping the switching operation. it can. Therefore, even if a thread break occurs during the sewing operation, the thread break sensor including the thread take-up spring and the spring receiver can stably detect the thread break of the thread with high accuracy. It can be made compact by using a separating lever or the like.
