Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mold for molding a tile substrate.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When producing ceramic tiles, first, a method is used in which a tile base is formed by pressing and compressing a powder raw material using a press device, and the tile base is fired.
[0003]
The pressing device has a mold as shown in FIG. In this mold, a molding space S is vertically penetrated through a

When forming a tile base with this forming die, the raw material supply process shown in FIGS. 6-8 and the pressurization process shown in FIG. 9 are performed.

That is, first, in the raw material supply step, as shown in FIG. 6, the

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in forming the tile base, it is important to make the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile base uniform throughout.
[0008]
That is, the tile substrate shrinks as a whole by firing, and the shrinkage rate is affected by the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile substrate. That is, if the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile substrate is high, the shrinkage rate is small, whereas if the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile substrate is low, the shrinkage rate is large. For this reason, when there are a high density part and a low density part of the powder raw material 1 on the tile base, a part having a large shrinkage rate and a small part are produced at the time of firing, and as a result, the tile obtained after firing is distorted. There is.
[0009]
For this reason, in order to make the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile substrate uniform throughout, it is also conceivable to uniformly fill the entire cavity with the powder raw material 1 in the raw material supply step.
[0010]
However, this is difficult under automation by a machine using the above-described mold. That is, in the mold as described above, when the
[0011]
Of course, since the non-uniformity of the density of the powder raw material 1 is very small, there is almost no problem of distortion after firing if small tiles are produced. However, for example, if a large tile of 300 mm square or more is to be produced, distortion after firing becomes a big problem due to non-uniform density.
[0012]
On the other hand, in order to make the density of the powder raw material 1 in the tile substrate uniform throughout, it is conceivable to adjust the pressing force as disclosed in JP-A-62-220122. In the mold used in this method, as shown in FIG. 10, a

According to this mold, even if the powder raw material 1 cannot be uniformly filled in the entire cavity in the raw material supply step, the uniform hydrostatic pressure is generated in the

However, according to the mold described in the above publication, since the rigidity of the central region of the
[0015]
In addition, in order to increase the adhesive strength with the mortar during construction on the building frame, a protrusion called a back foot is generally formed on the back surface of the tile, but it is thick based on the tile substrate obtained by such a mold. In the tile having a portion and a thin portion in the central area, the height of the back foot is not constant, and there is a disadvantage that the construction becomes difficult.
[0016]
In addition, since the pressing pressure during the pressurizing step is usually very high, the
[0017]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional situation, and even if the powder raw material cannot be uniformly filled in the entire cavity, a tile base material in which the density of the powder raw material is uniform throughout is formed. Tile base mold that is capable of preventing distortion of the tile after firing, and that the tile has excellent dimensional accuracy and aesthetics, does not cause construction difficulties, and prevents damage to the elastic body. Providing is an issue to be solved.
[0018]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) A tile mold of the first invention includes a frame mold having a molding space penetrating vertically, a back mold and a surface mold movable in the vertical direction approaching each other in the molding space; Powder capable of containing a powder raw material and capable of filling the powder raw material into a cavity formed by sliding the horizontal upper surface of the frame mold and forming the back mold and the molding space of the frame mold In the tile base molding die, the tile base can be molded by press-compressing the powder raw material in the cavity with both pressure surfaces of the back surface mold and the surface mold. At least one of the mold and the surface molding die includes an elastic body that constitutes the pressing surface, a rigid body that is integral with the elastic body on the back surface side of the elastic body except for a peripheral edge, and a back surface side of the rigid body. An encapsulated liquid and a base that supports the periphery of the elastic body while enclosing the liquid Characterized in that it comprises.

In the mold according to the first aspect of the present invention, the powder is reciprocated on the cavity so that even if the powder raw material cannot be uniformly filled in the whole cavity in the raw material supply process, the hydrostatic pressure is uniform in the liquid in the pressurization process. As a result, the elastic body is deformed, so that a uniform pressure can be applied to the powder raw material filled in the cavity. At this time, the peripheral edge of the elastic body is supported by the base, and the rigid body that is integral with the elastic body on the back side of the elastic body is not provided on the peripheral edge of the elastic body, so that deformation of the elastic body at this position is allowed. . For this reason, a portion where the density of the powder raw material is high and low is not generated in the tile base, and a difference in shrinkage rate does not occur during firing, so that distortion of the tile after firing can be prevented.
[0023]
According to the mold of the first invention, since the rigid body that is integral with the elastic body is provided on the back side of the elastic body except for the peripheral edge, the rigidity of the central area of the elastic body is high, Tile substrates with different thicknesses are not formed. For this reason, if this tile base material is fired, an excellent aesthetic appearance will be exhibited.
[0024]
Moreover, in the tile base obtained by the molding die of the first invention, since there is no undulation in the central area, the height of the back foot of the tile is constant, and the ease of construction is maintained.
[0025]
Further, in the molding die of the first invention, since the elastic body integrally has a rigid body in the central region, the elastic body is not easily damaged even by a pressing pressure.
[0026]
In the first aspect of the invention, it is preferable that the peripheral edge of the elastic body has a ridge that protrudes toward the back surface and the tip portion widens, and the base portion meshes with the ridge. If it is like this, since the joining force of an elastic body and a base is strong and a sealing performance improves, the leakage of a liquid can be prevented. More preferably, the protrusion of the elastic body meshes with the rigid body. If it is like this, since the joining force of an elastic body and a rigid body is strong, and sealing performance improves, the leakage of a liquid can be prevented more.
[0027]
(2) The tile mold of the second invention includes a frame mold in which a molding space is vertically penetrated, a back mold and a surface mold that are movable in the vertical direction approaching each other in the molding space, Powder capable of containing a powder raw material and capable of filling the powder raw material into a cavity formed by sliding the horizontal upper surface of the frame mold and forming the back mold and the molding space of the frame mold In the tile base molding die, the tile base can be molded by press-compressing the powder raw material in the cavity with both pressure surfaces of the back surface mold and the surface mold. At least one of the mold and the surface mold is supported by a base, an elastic body supported by the base, and constituting the pressing surface, and the base, the elastic body, and between the rigid body or the elastic body It consists of the liquid enclosed between.
[0028]
As the elastic body according to the second invention, when a liquid is sealed between the base, the elastic body, and the rigid body, a rubber annular material, a soft plastic annular material, or the like can be employed. Moreover, when enclosing a liquid between elastic bodies, a rubber bag-like material or box-like material, a soft plastic bag-like material or box-like material, or the like can be employed.
[0029]
As the rigid body according to the second invention, a metal plate material, a hard plastic plate material, a ceramic plate material, or the like can be employed as in the rigid body according to the first invention.
[0030]
As the liquid according to the second invention, oil, a fluid gel fluid, and water are generally employed.
[0031]
In the mold according to the second invention as well, even if the powder raw material cannot be uniformly filled in the entire cavity in the raw material supply process due to the reciprocating sliding of the powder soot on the cavity, the uniform static in the liquid in the pressurization process. Since water pressure is generated and the elastic body is deformed, a uniform pressure can be applied to the powder raw material filled in the cavity. For this reason, a portion where the density of the powder raw material is high and low is not generated in the tile base, and a difference in shrinkage rate does not occur during firing, so that distortion of the tile after firing can be prevented.
[0032]
Moreover, according to the shaping | molding die of 2nd invention, since the pressurization surface is comprised by the rigid body, the rigidity of a center area is high and it does not shape | mold a rough tile base. For this reason, if this tile base is fired, excellent dimensional accuracy and aesthetics will be exhibited.
[0033]
Moreover, in the tile base obtained by the molding die of the second invention, since there is no undulation in the central region, the height of the back foot of the tile is constant, and the ease of construction is maintained.
[0034]
Furthermore, since the molding die of the second invention merely supports the rigid body, the elastic body is less likely to be damaged by the pressing pressure.
[0035]
Therefore, according to the molds of the first and second inventions, even if the powder raw material cannot be uniformly filled in the entire cavity, it is possible to form a tile substrate having a uniform density of the powder raw material over the whole, As a result, the fired tile is less likely to be distorted, the tile is excellent in dimensional accuracy and aesthetics, construction difficulty does not occur, and damage to the elastic body can be prevented.
