本発明は、加熱炉扉の取替方法および装置に関し、詳しくは、加熱炉扉の取替作業の効率および安全性を向上させ得る加熱炉扉の取替方法および装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
製鉄所の厚板、大形、熱延工場などには被加熱物である鋼片を熱間圧延前に加熱する加熱炉が設けられており、そこでは炉保全のために定期的あるいは随時に炉口に配置されている昇降式の扉(加熱炉扉)の取り替えが行われる。この加熱炉扉は鉄構および耐火物からなる大型重量物である(例えば、幅約4m×高さ約3m×厚み約400mm ,重量約8〜9ton )。

従来の加熱炉扉の取替方法を図3を用いて説明する。
天井クレーン3は設備構造上、そのクレーン走行スパン4の端(クレーン限5)を加熱炉1の炉口上空まで届かせることができない。そこで、扉2の取り外し作業では、図示しない足場を組んで、扉2の上端、下端に吊り金具を取り付け、クレーンガーダ6と天井クレーン3からチェーンブロック7(7a,7b )を介して吊り段取りをする。なお、8はワイヤロープ、9はチェーン、30は扉開閉装置である。そして、扉2の下端を天井クレーン3で吊り、かつ上端をクレーンガーダ6側のチェーンブロック7a と天井クレーン3側のチェーンブロック7b で吊るという相吊作業により、扉2を傾けて炉口から取り外し、チェーンブロック7a,7b を徐々に緩めて扉2を水平にしていく。そして、クレーンガーダ6側のチェーンブロック7a の縁を切る。

その後、天井クレーン3により扉2(古扉)を所定の取替場所まで吊り搬送し、その取替場所にて古扉を吊り下ろし、新扉を吊り上げて炉口前に吊り搬送する。これ以降の新扉取り付け作業は、上記と逆の手順で遂行する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来方法では、扉上端の吊り段取りは高所で行わねばならず、また、大型重量物である扉を天井クレーンとチェーンブロックとで相吊りしながら取り外し、この相吊り状態のまま徐々に水平にしていく作業は熟練を要し、しかもその作業はローラテーブル10等足元の不安定な場所で行わねばならない。従って、極めて慎重に行わねばならず作業時間がかかる。このように、従来の扉取替方法には、高所で、足元が悪く、天井クレーンの届かない悪条件の下で多くの危険作業が含まれ、そのため作業時間がかかるという問題があった。

本発明は、上記従来技術の問題点を解決し、加熱炉扉の取替作業を安全かつ迅速に遂行できる加熱炉扉の取替方法および装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
例えば図2に示すように、加熱炉1には、被加熱物(鋼片)11を炉内に装入するために使用する装入装置12(図2ではリフトアップチャージャー)が備わっている。リフトアップチャージャーは、鋼片11を持ち上げるフォーク状の腕部13と、腕部13を昇降可能に支持する腕部支持ローラ14と、腕部13を進退させる腕部移動機構15と、該腕部移動機構15を駆動するモータ16とを有する。なお、図2において図3と同一または相当部分には同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。

また、リフトアップチャージャー以外の装入装置としてはプッシャーがあり、これは、図示を省略するが、腕部先端で鋼片側面を押して炉内に装入する装置である。以上は装入装置で説明したが、抽出側にても同様である。よって、装入・抽出( 装入および/または抽出の意)を行う装置を装入・抽出装置と総称する。
本発明者らは、これら装入・抽出装置の腕部が炉口に対して進退可能に構成され、その進退移動範囲が天井クレーンの走行範囲と重なり、しかも構造が堅固であることから、これを本来の被加熱物装入・抽出作業だけでなく加熱炉扉取替作業にも利用することにより前記目的を達成できることに着眼し、種々検討した結果、本発明を完成した。

すなわち本発明は、加熱炉の扉を取り替えるにあたり、被加熱物を加熱炉内に装入・抽出する装入・抽出装置に前記扉を支承可能な扉着脱治具を取り付け、該治具を介して前記扉を取り替えることを特徴とする加熱炉扉の取替方法である。また、本発明は、被加熱物を加熱炉内に装入・抽出する装入・抽出装置の腕部に前記加熱炉の扉を支承可能な扉着脱治具を取り付けてなる加熱炉扉の取替装置である。

前記装入・抽出装置は、リフトアップチャージャー、プッシャー、その他これらに類するもののいずれであってもよい。
前記扉着脱治具は、扉を起立のまま受ける扉受枠、該扉受枠に扉を固定する扉固定金具、前記扉受枠を前記装入・抽出装置に固定する枠固定金具、および作業用足場としての専用デッキを有することが好ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明の装入側での一実施形態を示す側面模式図である。図1において、17は扉着脱治具、18は扉受枠、19は扉固定金具、20は枠固定金具、21は専用デッキであり、図2と同一または相当部分には同じ符号を付し説明を省略する。図示のように、本発明では、装入装置(装入・抽出装置)12に扉2を支承可能な扉着脱治具17を取り付けて取替装置を構成し、扉着脱治具17を介して扉2を取り替えることとした。この例では、装入装置12はリフトアップチャージャーであり、その腕部13の段差部に扉着脱治具17を取り付けている。

扉着脱治具17は、扉2を起立のまま受ける断面L字状の扉受枠18、この扉受枠18に扉2を固定する扉固定金具19、扉受枠18を前記装入装置に固定する枠固定金具20、および作業用足場としての専用デッキ21を有する。
扉2の取り外し作業にあたっては、まず、待機位置にあるリフトアップチャージャーの腕部13の段差部に扉着脱治具17を据え付け、枠固定金具20にて腕部13に固定する。前記段差部はクレーン走行スパン4内にあるから、扉着脱治具17の据え付けには天井クレーンを使用することができる。

ついで、加熱炉扉2を扉開閉装置30にて扉受枠18の底枠が通過できる高さ以上に上昇させ、腕部13を炉口に向かって前進させ、扉受枠18が扉2の前面と接触する直前の位置で停止させる。そして、扉2を下降させて扉受枠18に預け、扉固定金具19にて扉2を前記扉受枠18に固定し、扉2と扉開閉装置30とを縁切りする。扉2の固定や扉開閉装置30との縁切り作業は、足場の良い専用デッキ21上にて安全に遂行することができる。

ついで、腕部13を待機位置へ後退させ、天井クレーンによる扉吊り段取りを行い、扉固定金具19を外して扉2(古扉)を所定の取替場所まで吊り搬送し、その取替場所にて古扉を吊り下ろし、新扉を吊り上げて炉口前に吊り搬送し、扉受枠18に預ける。これ以降の新扉取り付け作業は、上記と逆の手順で遂行する。
上記作業手順より明らかなように、本発明によれば、天井クレーンとクレーンガーダ6とによるチェーンブロックを介した相吊り作業、必ずしも安定でない仮設足場での高所作業、テーブルローラ等足元の悪い場所での玉掛作業といった危険作業は、これを全廃することができ、安全性が格段に向上する。また、とくに熟練と手間を要する前記相吊り作業が不要となったことで、作業時間も著しく短縮する。

熱間圧延工場の加熱炉扉取替工事に本発明を適用した。加熱炉は2基あって、その一方に備えられた装入装置はリフトアップチャージャー、他方に備えられた装入装置はプッシャーであり、リフトアップチャージャーでは図1に示したように腕部の段差部に扉着脱治具を取り付け、プッシャーでは図示を省略するが腕部の先端に扉着脱治具を取り付けた。

この加熱炉扉取替工事は、従来、図3に示した要領で実施されており、危険度が高く、各炉での工事開始から足場仮設を経て扉取り外し完了までに延べ15時間を要していたが、本発明により、安全性が格段に向上し、工事開始から扉着脱治具取り付けを経て扉取り外し完了までに要する延べ時間が5.5 時間に短縮し、また、マンパワーも従来の216 人・時間から、44人・時間へと削減するという顕著な効果が得られた。
