【0021】
R(t) =Rc (t) cos (ωct+θ(t) )+Rs(t) sin (ωc t+θ(t) )
【0022】
【0027】
Lc (t)=PNc (t)cos(ωc t)
【0028】
Ls (t)=PNs (t)sin(ωc t)
【0029】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a receiver suitable for being applied to a receiving circuit of a communication device such as a mobile phone.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a receiver for receiving a radio signal or the like transmitted at a predetermined frequency, a receiver called a direct conversion receiver has been developed. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of a conventional direct conversion type receiver, in which a received signal obtained at an
[0003]
Then, the I component obtained by the mixing circuit 55I and the Q component obtained by the
[0004]
The receiving circuit configured in this manner is called a direct-conversion receiving circuit, in which a demodulation process of directly obtaining a baseband signal from a received signal is performed, and a simple process that does not require a process of converting to an intermediate frequency signal is required. The receiving process is performed by the circuit configuration.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of a direct conversion type receiving process in which a baseband signal is directly obtained without being converted into an intermediate frequency signal, the local signal supplied to the mixing circuit has a frequency corresponding to the receiving frequency. There was a problem that it leaked to other circuits in the aircraft, causing interference. In addition, when performing processing by converting to an intermediate frequency signal, a process of extracting a desired wave with a filter at the stage of the intermediate frequency signal is performed, and then a process of converting the signal to a baseband signal is performed. Although there is little possibility that an unnecessary component is mixed in, in the case of the direct conversion method as shown in FIG. 3, there is a problem that a secondary distortion component is mixed in the signals amplified by the
[0006]
If the local signal is leaked or the secondary distortion occurs in the amplifier as described above, the bit error rate of the received data becomes worse.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to improve the reception performance of a direct conversion receiver.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a local signal generating means for demodulation, a pseudo noise signal generating means, and a spreading means for modulating and spreading a local signal output from the local signal generating means with a pseudo noise signal output from the pseudo noise signal generating means. Mixing means for mixing the received signal with the local signal spread by the spreading means, and despreading means for despreading the output of the mixing means with a pseudo-noise signal output by the pseudo-noise signal generating means to produce a baseband signal. And a first signal and a second signal as a spreading means, a mixing means, and a despreading means, respectively. A phase shifting means for delaying the output by a predetermined phase is provided, and the local signal shifted by the phase shifting means is spread by the first spreading means and then mixed with the received signal by the first mixing means. To the first despreading means to obtain a baseband signal of one of the systems, spread the local signal output by the local signal generating means by the second spreading means, and then receive the local signal by the second mixing means. After being mixed with the signal, the signal is supplied to a second despreading means to obtain a baseband signal of the other system, and a pseudo noise signal supplied to the first spreading means and the first despreading means; The pseudo noise signal supplied to the second spreading means and the second despreading means is another pseudo noise signal, and the output of the first mixing means and the output of the second mixing means are one system signal. The output of one system is supplied to first and second despreading means via a predetermined filter .
[0009]
According to such a configuration, the local signal used for the demodulation processing becomes a band-spread signal and is not a sine wave signal, so that it does not directly interfere with the received signal, and the mixed signal is band-spread. Therefore, the second-order distortion component can be removed.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
[0011]
In this example, an example is shown in which a transmission signal is applied to a reception system circuit of a wireless telephone (cellular telephone) that transmits and receives a signal modulated by a QPSK (Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation method. FIG. 1 shows the configuration.

[0019]
According to the receiving circuit of the present embodiment thus configured, a so-called direct conversion type receiving circuit that directly converts a desired signal from a received signal to a baseband signal (that is, directly obtains a baseband signal without passing through an intermediate frequency signal). However, it is possible to perform high-performance reception processing with little disturbance due to a local signal or secondary distortion. That is, the local signal used for the demodulation process is a signal spread in a band and is not a sine wave signal. The local signal does not interfere with the QPSK signal used in this band, and the local signal is It does not directly interfere with the received signal. Further, since the mixed output signal output from the mixing circuit is a signal subjected to band spreading, the secondary distortion component is effectively removed. Therefore, the bit error rate of the received data output from the output terminals 20I and 20Q can be reduced as compared with the conventional direct conversion type receiving circuit.
[0020]
Here, the removal of the second-order distortion component in the reception processing in the reception circuit of this example will be described below using mathematical expressions. First, a desired wave R (t) extracted from the received signal RF in obtained at the
[0021]
(Equation 1)
R (t) = R c ( t) cos (ω c t + θ (t)) + Rs (t) sin (ω c t + θ (t))
[0022]
Further, the interference wave R ud (t) included in the received signal RF in is represented by the following equation. Here, the interference wave is an unmodulated wave for simplicity of explanation.
[0023]
(Equation 2)
[0024]
The mixed output signal M (t) output from the mixing circuits 14I and 14Q is expressed by the following equation.
[0025]
(Equation 3)
M (t) = {R (t) + R ud (t) + L (t)} 2
[0026]
Here, the local signal L c (t) multiplied by the mixing circuit 14I and the local signal L s (t) multiplied by the mixing circuit 14Q are expressed by the following equations (4) and (5). Define. PN c (t) and PN s (t) indicate the pseudo noise signals PN c and PN s output from the PN
[0027]
(Equation 4)
L c (t) = PN c (t) cos (ω c t)
[0028]
(Equation 5)
L s (t) = PN s (t) sin (ω c t)
[0029]
The mixed output signal multiplied in the mixed output signal M (t) a local signal L c (t), when expressed as M c (t), the mixed output signal Mc (t) is represented as follows.
[0030]
(Equation 6)
[0031]
Equation [6] can be modified as follows.
[0032]
(Equation 7)
[0033]
When the 2ω component is removed from the equation (7), the following equation is obtained.
[0034]
(Equation 8)
[0035]
Here, a PN c 2 (t) = 1 , the pseudo noise signal PN c (t) is multiplied by the mixed output signal M c (t) with the despreading circuits 16I, the first [equation 8] Formula The term, the second term, and the fourth term are spread, and the third and fifth terms are despread, and the despread output m c (t) of the despreading circuit 16I is expressed by the following equation.
[0036]
(Equation 9)
[0037]
In this case, if the pseudo noise signal PN c (t) is spread over a band sufficiently larger than the signal band of the desired wave, it can be defined as the following equation, and it can be seen that the secondary distortion component can be removed.
[0038]
(Equation 10)
[0039]
In the above embodiment, the pseudo noise signal PN c for use in demodulating the I component and a pseudo noise signal PN s used to demodulate the Q component has been respectively with different signal, FIG. When the signal processing system for the I component and the signal processing system for the Q component are completely separated as in 1, the same pseudo noise signal may be used.
[0040]
In contrast, if the pseudo noise signal PN c for use in mixing the I component and a pseudo noise signal PN s for use in mixing the Q component, respectively a separate signal mixing circuit 14I , 14Q to the input of the
[0041]
Explaining the example shown in FIG. 2, the outputs of the mixing circuits 14I and 14Q are supplied to a common low-
[0042]
With the configuration shown in FIG. 2, since different PN codes are used in each system, the I component and the Q component can be separated at the time of despreading. Therefore, the signal processing system from mixing to despreading can be one system, and the configuration of the receiving circuit can be simplified accordingly. In particular, as shown in FIG. 2, there is no need to prepare two circuit components between the mixing circuit such as the
[0043]
In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to a receiver that demodulates a signal of the QPSK modulation method. However, it is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to a receiver that receives a transmission signal modulated by another modulation method.
[0044]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the local signal used for the demodulation process becomes a band-spread signal and is not a sine wave signal, and does not directly interfere with the received signal. Therefore, the second-order distortion component can be removed, and the bit error rate of the received data can be reduced when the reception processing is performed by the direct conversion method.
[0045]
In this case, as a received signal, two signals are orthogonally modulated and transmitted, and local signals individually spread for each system are individually mixed and individually despread to obtain a base signal for each system. By obtaining the band signal, the transmission signal of each system can be satisfactorily demodulated.
[0046]
In addition, when the signals of each system are individually mixed and processed, each system uses a different pseudo-noise signal to perform the mixing process. It becomes possible to discriminate and extract, and the processing from mixing by the spread local signal to despreading can be processed by integrating two received signals into one.
[0047]
Further, when the processing from mixing to despreading is performed by integrating the received signals of two systems into one system, the mixed output of one system is supplied to each despreading unit via a predetermined filter. By doing so, it is not necessary to prepare a filter for passing the mixed output signal for each system, and the reception processing of the orthogonally modulated signal can be realized with a simple configuration.

Pseudo noise signal generating means;
Spreading means for modulating and spreading the local signal output by the local signal generation means with the pseudo noise signal output by the pseudo noise signal generation means;
Mixing means for mixing the local signal spread by the spreading means with a received signal;
Despreading means for despreading the output of the mixing means with a pseudo-noise signal output by the pseudo-noise signal generating means to make it a baseband signal ,
As the reception signal, a signal in which two signals are orthogonally modulated and transmitted,
The diffusion means, the mixing means, and the reverse diffusion means include first and second two means, respectively.
A phase shifting means for delaying the output of the local signal generating means by a predetermined phase is provided. After the local signal shifted by the phase shifting means is spread by the first spreading means, the received signal is spread by the first mixing means. After that, it is supplied to the first despreading means to obtain a baseband signal of one system,
The local signal output from the local signal generating means is spread by the second spreading means, mixed with the received signal by the second mixing means, and then supplied to the second despreading means to be supplied to the second despreading means. To get the baseband signal,
The pseudo noise signal supplied to the first spreading means and the first despreading means and the pseudo noise signal supplied to the second spreading means and the second despreading means are different pseudo noise signals,
The output of the first mixing means and the output of the second mixing means are made into one system signal, and this one system output is supplied to the first and second despreading means via a predetermined filter. Receiver to make it .
