Abstract
Description
本願は、2017年11月2日に出願された、米国仮出願第62/580,842号の出願日の利益を主張する。米国出願第62/580,842号の内容は、参照することによってそれらの全体として本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示は、ポリマー材料を調製および分注し、それから随意のポリマー膜等のポリマー物品を生産するための、システムならびに方法に関する。
ポリマー物品を生産するための例示的システム100が、図1に示される。システム100の実装は、光硬化性材料(例えば、光に暴露されると硬化する、光重合体または光活性化樹脂)を使用して、光学ポリマー膜等のポリマー物品を生産するために使用されることができる。
Claims (25)
- チオール−エンポリマー物品を形成するために、成分を混合し、混合物を分注するためのシステムであって、
第1の重合性化合物を含む、前記チオール−エンポリマーの第1の成分を含有する、第1のリザーバと、
第2の重合性化合物を含む、前記チオール−エンポリマーの第2の成分を含有する、第2のリザーバと、
混合チャンバを有する、混合容器と、
前記第1および第2のリザーバから前記混合容器への流体のための導管を提供する、送達マニホールドと、
前記混合容器からの流体のための導管を提供する、分注マニホールドと、
前記送達マニホールドおよび前記分注マニホールドと通信する、制御モジュールであって、前記送達マニホールドに、前記第1のリザーバから前記第1の成分の計測された量と、前記第2のリザーバから前記第2の成分の計測された量とを、前記混合容器の混合チャンバの中に送達させ、前記混合物の粘度が、経時的に増加するように、前記混合物中の前記第1ならびに第2の重合性化合物間での化学反応を引き起こすために十分な条件下で、前記混合容器内で、前記第1および第2の成分の計測された量を含む、混合物を形成し、前記混合物の粘度が、1,000mPa.s未満である間、前記分注マニホールドに、前記システムの動作の間に前記混合物を前記混合容器から金型の中に分注させるようにプログラムされる、制御モジュールと
を備える、システム。 - それぞれが、前記チオール−エンポリマーの対応する成分を含有する、1つまたはそれを上回る付加的リザーバであって、各リザーバは、前記送達マニホールドによって前記混合容器に接続される、1つまたはそれを上回る付加的リザーバをさらに備え、前記制御モジュールはさらに、前記チオール−エンポリマーの成分のそれぞれの計測された量の、それらの対応するリザーバから前記混合チャンバへの送達を引き起こし、前記システムの動作の間に前記混合物を形成するようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記送達マニホールドに、前記成分のそれぞれを前記混合チャンバに順次送達させるようにプログラムされる、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記送達マニホールドに、任意の付加的成分を送達する前に、前記第1および第2の成分を前記混合チャンバに送達させるようにプログラムされる、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記送達マニホールドに、前記成分のそれぞれを前記混合チャンバに同時に送達させるようにプログラムされる、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合チャンバは、疎水性表面を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記疎水性表面は、PTFE、ポリプロピレン、ポリジメチルシロキサン、フルオロシランポリマー、マイクロテクスチャポリカーボネート、またはパリレンの層によって提供される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記疎水性表面は、シリコーン材料の層によって提供される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合容器は、少なくとも1つの非極性アルキル基、少なくとも1つの非極性アリ−ル基、少なくとも1つの非極性フルオライド基、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む化合物を含む、材料から形成される、表面を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記送達マニホールドによって前記混合容器に接続される、ガスリザーバをさらに備え、前記制御モジュールはさらに、前記システムの動作の間に、前記ガスリザーバから前記混合チャンバへのガスの前記送達を引き起こすようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記送達マニホールドによって前記混合容器に接続される、溶媒リザーバをさらに備え、前記制御モジュールはさらに、前記システムの動作の間に、前記溶媒リザーバから前記混合チャンバへの溶媒の前記送達を引き起こすようにプログラムされる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合容器は、前記システムの動作の間に前記混合物の混合を促進するための、撹拌器を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールは、前記撹拌器と通信し、前記システムの動作の間の前記撹拌器の動作を制御するようにプログラムされる、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記送達マニホールドは、前記混合チャンバの中へのそれらの送達に先立って、前記第1および/または第2の成分を濾過するように配列される、濾過サブシステムを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記分注マニホールドは、前記混合物を前記金型の中に分注するステップに先立って、前記混合物を濾過するように配列される、濾過サブシステムを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合チャンバ内の温度を−40℃〜400℃の範囲内に維持するように配列される、加熱器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 約10kPa〜500kPaの前記混合チャンバ内の圧力差を維持するように配列される、ポンプをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 成型されたチオール−エンポリマー物品を作製する方法であって、
第1の重合性化合物を含む、前記チオール−エンポリマーの第1の成分を提供するステップと、
第2の重合性化合物を含む、前記チオール−エンポリマーの第2の成分を提供するステップと、
前記混合物の粘度が、経時的に増加するように、前記混合物中の前記第1および第2の重合性化合物間での化学反応を引き起こすために十分な条件下で、混合容器内で、前記第1ならびに第2の成分の計測された量を含む、混合物のバッチを形成するステップと、
前記混合物の粘度が、1,000mPa.s未満である間、前記混合物を前記混合容器から金型の中に分注するステップと、
前記混合物を前記金型の中で硬化させ、前記成型されたチオール−エンポリマー物品を提供するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記混合物を分注した後、前記混合容器を洗浄し、前記混合物の残留物を除去するステップをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物の粘度が、経時的に増加するように、前記混合物中の前記第1および第2の重合性化合物の間での化学反応を引き起こすために十分な条件下で、前記混合容器内で、前記第1ならびに第2の成分の計測された量を含む、前記混合物の第2のバッチを形成するステップと、
前記混合物の粘度が、1,000mPa.s未満である間、前記混合物を前記混合容器から前記金型の中に分注するステップと、
前記混合物を前記金型の中で硬化させ、第2の成型されたチオール−エンポリマー物品を提供するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。 - 前記チオール−エンポリマーの第3の成分を提供するステップをさらに含み、前記混合物を形成するステップは、前記混合容器の中で、前記第3の成分の計測された量を前記第1および第2の成分と合わせることを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記化学反応を引き起こすために十分な条件下で、前記混合物のバッチを形成するステップは、前記混合容器を−40℃〜400℃の範囲内の温度に維持することを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記化学反応を引き起こすために十分な条件下で、前記混合物のバッチを形成するステップは、前記混合容器を約10kPa〜500kPaの圧力差に維持することを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物を分注するステップは、前記混合物で前記金型の少なくとも一部をコーティングすることを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記チオール−エンポリマーは、1.55またはそれを上回る屈折率を有する、請求項18に記載の方法。
