Abstract
Description
本発明に係る実施の形態のコネクタ10は、防水処理が施されたいわゆる防水コネクタであり、例えば、携帯電話機、携帯情報端末、携帯型音楽プレーヤー、電子書籍リーダー等の電子機器200(図25参照)に用いられる。本実施の形態に係るコネクタは、USB規格準拠等の防水コネクタとしてもよい。例えば、本実施の形態のコネクタは、USB Type−C等に適用できる。
複数のコンタクト20は、それぞれ良導電性金属製の長尺の線状材であり、相手コネクタのコンタクト(他の電子部品)に接続される一端部と、相手コネクタとの接続対象に接続される他端部と、を有する。
図19は、図18においてガスケット90を外したコネクタ10において噛み合い部58の説明に供する図である。
本実施の形態のコネクタ10は製造可能な適宜の方法で製造することが可能である。

Claims (5)
- 電子部品の筐体に組立てられ、外部コネクタの相手コンタクトに接続される一端部を有する複数のコンタクトを備えるコネクタであって、
前記複数のコンタクトのそれぞれの前記一端部と他端部との間の部位が内部に配置され、前記複数のコンタクトを並べて支持するハウジング本体と、
前記複数のコンタクトと前記複数のコンタクトの周囲に密着して設けられ、前記ハウジング本体と前記複数のコンタクトとの間における前記一端部側から他端部側への水の浸入を封止する弾性封止材と、
前記弾性封止材を閉じ込めるように設けられたアウタモールドと、
前記アウタモールドの外面に周方向に設けられたガスケットと、
を有する、
コネクタ。 - 前記アウタモールドの外面には周方向に環状の凹部が形成され、この凹部に前記ガスケットが外嵌される、
請求項1記載のコネクタ。 - 前記弾性封止材は、ポリエステル系熱可塑性エラストマーにより形成される、
請求項1または2に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記弾性封止材の表面には凹凸の部分が設けられている、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記アウタモールドはポリアミド系樹脂からなる、
