Abstract
Description
〔全体構成〕
まず、本発明の第1の実施の形態について説明する。画像形成装置としてのプリンタ100は、電子写真方式のフルカラーレーザビームプリンタである。プリンタ100は、図1に示すように、プリンタ本体115と、プリンタ本体115の上部に設置される読取装置120と、を有している。
次に、プリンタ100が両面印刷ジョブを実行した際の、シートへの斜行補正動作について説明する。まず、両面搬送路R4及びレジローラ対23の周辺の構成について説明する。図2に示すように、両面搬送路R4は、第1搬送部及び第1ローラ対としての搬送ローラ対47と、第2搬送部及び第2ローラ対としてのレジローラ対23の間において、湾曲した湾曲搬送路R5を有している。すなわち、湾曲搬送路R5は、両面搬送路R4の一部を構成している。
次に、コロ64の構成や配置について詳しく説明する。コロ64は、図8に示すように、シート搬送方向に直交する幅方向において複数並設されており(本実施の形態では4つ)、以下では、4つのコロをそれぞれコロ64a,64b,64c,64dと呼称する。コロ64は、コロ64自身の慣性がシートSに対する抵抗になるため、コロ64自身の慣性が少ない方が摺擦抵抗を低減しやすい。このため、本実施の形態では、小型の4つのコロ64a,64b,64c,64dを設け、より摺擦抵抗を軽減している。搬送ローラ対47は、幅方向に並設される2つのローラ47a,47bと、これらローラ47a,47bを回転可能に支持する軸部47cと、を有する。
次いで、本発明の第2の実施の形態について説明するが、第2の実施の形態は、第1の実施の形態の外側ガイド60及び内側ガイド61を複数のガイド部材で構成したものである。このため、第1の実施の形態と同様の構成については、図示を省略、又は図に同一符号を付して説明する。
次いで、本発明の第3の実施の形態について説明するが、第3の実施の形態は、湾曲搬送路R5のシート搬送方向における上流端R5a及び下流端R5b以外に搬送ローラ対47及びレジローラ対23を配置して構成したものである。このため、第1の実施の形態と同様の構成については、図示を省略、又は図に同一符号を付して説明する。
また、既述のいずれの形態においても、外側ガイド60,160に対向して内側ガイド61,161を設けていたが、内側ガイド61,161を省いてもよい。
Claims (8)
- シートを搬送する第1搬送部と、
前記第1搬送部によって搬送されるシートの先端が突き当たってシートにループを形成可能な突き当て部を有し、シートを搬送する第2搬送部と、
前記第1搬送部によって搬送されるシートを前記第2搬送部に案内する湾曲した湾曲ガイド部と、
前記湾曲ガイド部に沿って配置され、前記湾曲ガイド部によって案内されるシートの前記湾曲ガイド部に摺動する面に対して従動回転可能な回転体と、を備える、
ことを特徴とするシート搬送装置。 - 前記第1搬送部と前記第2搬送部との間の湾曲した湾曲搬送路の少なくとも一部は、前記湾曲ガイド部と、前記湾曲ガイド部に対向する対向ガイド部と、によって形成され、
前記湾曲ガイド部は、前記湾曲搬送路の湾曲方向において前記対向ガイド部よりも外側に配置され、
前記回転体は、前記回転体の軸方向に視て、一部が前記湾曲搬送路に重なっている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシート搬送装置。 - 前記回転体は、シート搬送方向において、前記湾曲搬送路の上流端から、前記湾曲搬送路の前記上流端から下流端までの全長区間の5分の3までの搬送区間に沿った位置に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシート搬送装置。 - 前記回転体は、前記全長区間の前記シート搬送方向における中央部に位置する頂点と、前記湾曲搬送路の前記上流端と、の間の搬送区間に沿った位置に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシート搬送装置。 - 前記第1搬送部は、シートを挟持して搬送する第1ローラ対を有し、
前記第2搬送部は、シートを挟持して搬送する第2ローラ対を有し、
前記第1ローラ対によるシートの搬送方向と前記第2ローラ対によるシートの搬送方向は、略反対方向である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のシート搬送装置。 - 前記回転体は、シート搬送方向に直交する幅方向において複数並設される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のシート搬送装置。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のシート搬送装置と、
シートに画像を形成する画像形成部と、を備える、
ことを特徴とする画像形成装置。 - 前記画像形成部によって第1面に画像が形成されたシートを前記画像形成部に再び案内する両面搬送路を備え、
前記湾曲ガイド部は、前記両面搬送路の一部を構成する、
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の画像形成装置。
