Abstract
Description
本発明の複合材料は、30〜80wt.%のUD繊維、特に50〜70wt.%のUD繊維を含むことが望ましい。そのUD繊維の面積重量は、400〜4,000g/m2、特に1,000〜2,000g/m2であることが望ましい。一体化されていない状態において、厚さが5〜15mmであることが望ましい。
複合材料が薄いC層を付加的に含む場合には、C層の不規則な配向繊維10は、無端マットとして上層のB層の繊維不織布上に配置されるか、もしくはチョップドファイバーとしてそれらの繊維不織布上に散在する。次に、3層のすべてが互いにニードリングされる。この点について、図1に模式的に示している。
Claims (15)
- 平面状複合材料であって、
(a)互いに連結されずに平行に延びる一方向性の強化繊維粗糸(6)からなり、300g/m2より大きく、2,000g/m2までの面積重量を有する少なくとも1層のUD(一方向性の)繊維層Aと、
(b)それぞれ70wt.%までの強化繊維を含み得る熱可塑性の繊維不織布(2)又は熱可塑性の配向繊維層(16)からなり、100〜2,000g/m2の面積重量を有する不規則な配向繊維層Bを含む少なくとも1つの繊維マットと
を備え、前記強化繊維の融点又は軟化点は、前記熱可塑性の繊維のそれよりも少なくとも50℃高く、前記A層及び前記B層が互いにニードリングされている平面状複合材料。 - 前記A層−前記B層の順序で層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記不規則な配向繊維層Bを含む前記繊維マットは熱可塑性繊維不織布で構成され、前記熱可塑性不織布は、熱可塑性繊維で構成されて30〜70wt.%の強化繊維を含む、ニードル不織布、もしくはニードリングされていないカーディング不織布又はエアレイ式不織布であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記A層から離間する方向を向く前記B層の面に、50〜500g/m2の面積重量を有する不規則な配向強化繊維からなる繊維層Cを付加的に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記不規則な配向繊維層Bを含む前記繊維マットは、無端の熱可塑性繊維からなる熱可塑性の配向繊維層から製造され、無端の強化繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 30〜80wt.%のUD繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項4に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記A層の前記強化繊維粗糸は、200〜4,800texの力価を有するガラス繊維、炭素繊維、アラミド繊維、又は玄武岩繊維であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項4に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記B層の前記熱可塑性物質は、未処理のポリプロピレン、ポリアミド6、又はポリアミド66であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項4に記載の平面状複合材料。
- 前記A層の前記UD繊維は炭素繊維であり、前記B層の前記繊維不織布は30〜70wt.%の再利用炭素繊維及び70〜30wt.%のポリアミドを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の平面状複合材料。
- はじめに前記A層の前記UD繊維が周回する無端バンド(4)上に互いに対向するように配置され、前記B層の前記繊維不織布が前記UD繊維及び前記バンドの上に載せられ、続いて前記A層及び前記B層が互いにニードリングされることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の複合材料を製造するための連続製造方法。
- ニードリングに先だって前記C層の不規則な配向繊維が前記B層の上に載せられ、続いて前記A層、前記B層及び前記C層が互いにニードリングされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の複合材料を製造するための請求項10に記載の連続製造方法。
- はじめに前記A層の前記UD繊維が周回する無端バンド(4)上に配置され、前記B層の前記無端繊維が横断供給装置から前記UD繊維及び前記バンドの上に載せられ、続いて前記A層及び前記B層が互いにニードリングされることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の複合材料を製造するための連続製造方法。
- 構成部品を製造するための請求項1又は請求項3に記載の複合材料の使用方法であって、前記複合材料から製造されるプレカット部品を、前記不規則な配向繊維のB層における前記熱可塑性物質の軟化点を超える温度で型に入れてプレスする使用方法。
- 熱可塑性の平面状の成形性半製品を製造するための請求項1又は請求項3に記載の複合材料の使用方法であって、前記不規則な配向繊維のB層における前記熱可塑性物質の軟化点を超える温度でダブルバンドプレスに入れてプレスする使用方法。
- 構成部品を製造するための請求項1又は請求項3に記載の複合材料の使用方法であって、GMT(ガラスマットで強化された熱可塑性物質)半製品又はNMT(天然繊維マットで強化された熱可塑性物質)半製品とともに前記複合材料から製造されるプレカット部品を、前記不規則な配向繊維のB層における前記熱可塑性物質の軟化点を超える温度で型に入れてプレスする使用方法。
