Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a web manufacturing method and a web, and more particularly, to a web manufacturing method and a web for imparting irregularities to both ends in the width direction of the web.
As a countermeasure against slippage or winding deviation of a web, for example, there is a technique of imparting unevenness (knurling) to both ends in the width direction of the film. As a method of imparting knurling, a method of sandwiching with a pair of rolls embossed on one side or both is generally performed. The case where a roll embossed only on one side is used is called one-press, and the case where a roll embossed on both sides is used is called double-press.
As a technique for imparting knurling, for example, Patent Document 1 described below describes an acrylic film in which a knurling process is performed on a side end portion of the film.
When knurling is applied, one-pressing can provide knurling with relative stability, but it is difficult for knurling deformation to occur on the film, so additional equipment such as heating, driving, and high pressing pressure equipment is required. There were many. Further, the double pressing is easier to apply a knurling deformation than the single pressing, and the knurling can be imparted with a simple and inexpensive equipment. However, in a film that is easily deformed, such as a thin film with a thin film thickness, the double-pushing causes a force to be applied in a direction different from the conveying direction by a pair of rolls that impart knurling. It is easy to generate, meander and bite, and it is difficult to produce a film of good quality.
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and even when a knurling is imparted to a thin web by double pressing, the web manufacture stably conveys the web and produces a good quality web. It is an object to provide a method and a manufactured web.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention sandwiches the first roll and the second roll having a large number of protrusions from the front side and the back side of the web having a film thickness of 45 μm or less, and the width direction of the web. A step of imparting knurling to both ends, and the engagement angle between the convex portion of the first roll and the convex portion of the second roll when sandwiched between the first roll and the second roll is 1; Provided is a method for producing a web that is at least ° and no more than 89 °.
According to the present invention, in the step of imparting knurling to both ends in the width direction of the web from the front surface side and the back surface side of the web, the convex portion of the first roll that imparts knurling, and the convex portion of the second roll By setting the meshing angle to 1 ° or more and 89 ° or less, it is possible to apply a force toward the outside of the web when sandwiched between the first roll and the second roll. Therefore,
Since the web does not go inward, it is possible to prevent occurrence of slippage and wrinkling due to the web being disengaged and shifted. In addition, when a force is applied inward with respect to the web conveyance direction, the end side of the web moves inward, and thus wrinkles are generated or biting occurs.
In the present specification, the “meshing angle” means “the center of the deformed portion of the web by the convex portion of the first roll and the second closest to the deformed portion of the web by the convex portion of the first roll. “An angle formed by a straight line connecting the center of the deformed portion of the web formed by the convex portion of the roll and a direction in the direction toward the outside of the web, and the web conveyance direction”. There are as many meshing angles as the number of deformations by the convex part, but the meshing angle of the web deformation by the convex part excluding the part where the convex deformation is intentionally irregular, such as both ends and the central part. The average value is in the range of 1000 mm with respect to the web conveyance direction.
In another aspect of the present invention, the web is preferably a resin film.
In another aspect of the present invention, the meshing angle is preferably 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less.
In another aspect of the present invention, the meshing angle is preferably 30 ° or more and 60 ° or less.
This aspect further restricts the web and the meshing angle, and the meshing angle is preferably 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less, and more preferably 30 or more and 60 ° or less.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is sandwiched between a first roll and a second roll having a large number of projections from the front and back sides of the widthwise ends of the web having a film thickness of 45 μm or less. An object of the present invention is to provide a web in which the meshing angle of the knurling imparted to the web is not less than 1 ° and not more than 89 °.
According to the present invention, the engagement angle of the knurling imparted to the web by the first roll and the second roll from the front surface side and the back surface side at both ends in the width direction of the web is set to 1 ° to 89 °. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the generation of wrinkles and slippage during the production of the web, and it is possible to provide a web having a good quality.
In another aspect of the present invention, the web is preferably a resin film.
In another aspect of the present invention, the meshing angle is preferably 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less.
In another aspect of the present invention, the meshing angle is preferably 30 ° or more and 60 ° or less.
This aspect further limits the web and the meshing angle, and the meshing angle is preferably 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less, and more preferably 30 ° or more and 60 ° or less. .
According to the web manufacturing method of the present invention, the engagement angle between the pair of first rolls and second rolls that impart knurling is 1 ° or more and 89 ° or less, so that the first roll and the second roll A force can be applied toward the outside of the web by the meshing of the rolls. Therefore, it is possible to prevent wrinkles and slippage during web conveyance, prevent biting, and stably convey the web, and manufacture a film with good quality.
Hereinafter, a web manufacturing method and a web according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the present specification, “to” is used to mean that the numerical values described before and after it are included as a lower limit value and an upper limit value.
Hereinafter, a method for producing a resin film (polymer film, for example, a TAC (triacetyl cellulose) film) will be described as an example of a web production method. However, the method is not limited to a resin film, and can be applied to various webs. it can.

FIG. 7A is a diagram when the meshing angle is 45 °. When the meshing angle is 45 °, when the knurling is applied by the
FIG.7 (b) is a figure in case a meshing angle is 135 degrees. When the meshing angle is 135 °, when the knurling is applied by the knurling application roll, a force is applied toward the inner side of the film, so that the
The meshing angle is 1 ° or more and 89 ° or less, preferably 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less, and more preferably 30 ° or more and 60 ° or less. By setting the meshing angle within the above range, the force applied in the conveying direction and the force applied to the outside of the
Further, in the deformed portion after imparting knurling, when the shape of the
By arranging the sides of the deformed portions of the
In order to prevent settling, it is preferable that the shape of the knurling teeth is a square shape. When the shape of the knurling teeth is a quadrangular shape, the direction of the quadrangular shape is set to 0 ° when each side is 0 ° or 90 ° with respect to the conveying direction. As shown in FIGS. 7C and 7D, when the square direction is tilted at an angle of 45 ° with respect to the meshing angle, the knurling is adjacent at the square apex, The knurling is easy to stick.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.
The knurling apparatus was performed using the apparatus shown in FIG. The shape of the knurling teeth was a quadrangular frustum shape, and the ones aligned in a 45 ° direction with respect to the conveying direction (the shape shown in FIG. 7) were used. As the film, a triacetyl cellulose (TAC) film and a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film were used, and the film thickness was changed in the range of 25 μm to 60 μm. In addition, for each film thickness, the meshing angle was changed, and the film slipping and biting and the settling of the knurling were evaluated.
Evaluation of film slippage and biting was performed according to the following criteria.
A: No bite off, no slippage, no wrinkle generation A to B: No bite off, but there is a time when crushing, wrinkle generation and no time B: No bite off, but always There are occurrences of creases and wrinkles. Based on the knurling height of the film immediately after knurling. A knurled film is formed into a 40 x 20 mm rectangular sheet, and the weight is placed so that the surface pressure of the film is uniformly 2 kPa while the temperature is adjusted to 120 ° C. After 1 minute, the weight is removed, and knurling of each part is performed. The height was measured. Based on the state before placing the weight, the amount of decrease in the knurling height was measured as a set amount. Evaluation was made based on the ratio of the set amount to the knurling height before placing the weight.

As a reference example, a film thickness of 60 μm was also evaluated. When the film thickness was 60 μm, good results were obtained regardless of the meshing angle. This is because, when the film thickness is as thick as 60 μm, the film transport state is hardly disturbed by the knurling roll, so that the deviation and sag are caused by the meshing angle, but the meshing did not occur.
When the film thickness is 45 μm or less, the engagement angle can be prevented by setting the engagement angle within the range of the present invention. Similar results were obtained in the examples where the film thickness was 40 μm and 25 μm.
The same tendency was observed when the film material was a PET film.
In addition, with respect to the settling of the knurling, good results were obtained when the meshing angle was in the range of 30 to 60 °, and the evaluation was “D” at 0 ° (180 °) and 90 °, and 0 ° ( In the vicinity of 180 °) and 90 °, the evaluation is “B” and “C”, and it is preferable that the angle is 10 ° or more and 80 ° or less in consideration of the knurling point.
