Abstract
Description

本出願は、次の米国特許出願、すなわち2013年10月24日付けで提出され「異なるバイアルから薬剤を誤送出なしで移送するためのマニホルド」と題された米国特許出願第61/895,270号と、2013年10月24日付けで提出され「2つの薬剤の多チャンネル注入システムにおける注入部位を用いた注入源を繋ぐための装置」と題された米国特許出願第61/895,279号と、2013年10月24日付けで提出され「多数のカテーテル又はカニューレの配列を介して2つ以上の薬剤を注入するための注入セット又は投与セット」と題された米国特許出願第61/895,288号と、2014年1月29日付けで提出され「薬剤を誤送出なしで届けるためのバイアルの固有な投入を可能とする多注入装置」と題する米国特許出願第61/932,835号と、2014年6月12日付けで提出され「多数の薬剤の誤送出を防止するための注入システム」と題された米国特許出願62/011,306号との優先権を主張する。上記出願の内容は、本明細書に引用して援用する。
本発明は、薬剤を糖尿病患者に投与するためのシステム及び方法に関する。より詳細には、本発明は、誤った薬剤を糖尿病患者に不注意で投与するのを避けるために薬剤の誤送出を防止するためのシステム及び方法に関する。
よって、溝56が形成されたタンク16Bは、マニホルド14Bの対応するリブ54に収容され嵌め合うよう適合されている。現在の例では、リブ54及び溝56の位置がリブ48及び溝50の位置とは異なる。従って、タンク16Bのマニホルド14A内への取り付けは防止されており、タンク16Aのマニホルド14B内への取り付けも防止される。この構成は、薬剤タンクが正しくないマニホルドに不注意に装填されるのを防止し、よって正しくない薬剤の患者への不注意の投与を防止する。
Claims (24)
- 患者に多数の流体を送出するためのシステムであって、
少なくとも第1タンク及び第2タンクであって、それぞれが流体を収容すると共に特徴要素が関連付けられており、前記第1タンクの前記特徴要素は前記第2タンクの前記特徴要素とは異なる、少なくとも第1タンク及び第2タンクと、
少なくとも第1及び第2入口ポートであって、それぞれには特徴要素が関連付けられており、前記第1入口ポートの前記特徴要素は前記第2入口ポートの前記特徴要素とは異なる、少なくとも第1及び第2入口ポートとを備え、
前記第1タンクの前記特徴要素は、前記第1入口ポートの前記特徴要素又は前記第1タンクと前記第1入口ポートとの間の第1中間結合部品に補完的であり、前記第2タンクの前記特徴要素は、前記第2入口ポートの前記特徴要素に補完的であり、組み付けられると、前記第1タンクは前記第1入口ポートのみに流体結合可能であり、前記第2タンクは前記第2入口ポートのみに流体結合可能であり、よって前記流体の誤送出を防止する、システム。 - 少なくとも前記第1及び第2入口ポートに結合された注入ポンプをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1及び第2入口ポートは、前記注入ポンプの外部に配置されたマニホルドである、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1及び第2マニホルドは前記注入ポンプ内に形成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1タンクは調整剤を収容し、前記第2タンクは対抗制御的薬剤を収容する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整剤はインシュリンであり、前記対抗制御的薬剤はグルカゴンである、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1入口ポートの前記特徴要素は第1表面特徴を含み、前記第2入口ポートの前記特徴要素は第2表面特徴を含み、前記第1表面特徴は前記第2表面特徴とは異なる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記各第1及び第2入口ポートには、前記第1及び第2タンクをそれぞれ穿孔するための穿孔要素が形成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。

前記第1キャップ要素の前記特徴要素は、前記第1入口ポートの前記特徴要素に形状が補完的であり、前記第2キャップ要素の前記特徴要素は、前記第2入口ポートの前記特徴要素に形状が補完的であり、組み付けられると、前記第1キャップ要素は前記第1入口ポートのみに流体結合可能であり、前記第2キャップ要素は前記第2入口ポートのみに流体結合可能である、請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1及び第2キャップ要素は、それぞれ前記第1及び第2タンクと前記第1及び第2送出ポートとに同時に係合して前記タンクを所定位置に固定する、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 多チャンネルルーメンアッセンブリであって、
前記注入ポンプの前記第1入口ポートに流体結合される入口ポート及び出口ポートを備えた第1チューブと、
前記注入ポンプの前記第2入口ポートに流体結合される入口ポート及び出口ポートを備えた第2チューブとを備えた多チャンネルルーメンアッセンブリと、

- 第1チューブ入口ポートと第1タンク特徴要素との結合及び第2チューブ入口ポートと第2タンク特徴要素との結合によって、前記チューブの入口ポート特徴要素又は前記タンクの特徴要素を傷つけることなく分離を行うことは不可能であり、分離されたタンクの取替チューブ又は分離されたチューブの取替タンクへの再結合又は結合を防止する、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1及び第2チューブの前記入口ポートそれぞれには、前記第1及び第2タンクをそれぞれ穿孔するための穿孔要素が形成されている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
