本実施の形態では、プレス加工、例えばエンボス加工により外装体のフィルムに凹凸を形成し、外装体で囲まれる領域に第1の緩衝材312a、第2の緩衝材312b、第3の緩衝材310c、とし、第1の緩衝材312a、第2の緩衝材312bは矩形波状の断面を有する弾性体を用い、第3の緩衝材310cは柱状の弾性体(弾性を有する材料)を用いる例を示す。

- 外装体と、電極群と、緩衝材と、を有する二次電池であって、
前記電極群は、正極と、セパレータと、負極と、を有し、
前記緩衝材は前記電極群の周縁部に設けられ、
