Abstract
【解決手段】車体中心の左右にリフレクター45、46及び左右のレンズ49L、49Rが各々配置される。略W字形状を呈する導光部材の左右に、第2の光源55、55が各々取付けられている。遮光性のライトカバー48で、取付部51、51、連結部52、52が隠されている。一方、レンズ49L、49Rを通して、左右のリフレクター45、46及び左右の輝光部53、53が見える。
【効果】第2の光源が他の部位より明るくとも、外からは見えない。結果、外から見える範囲では光むらが低減できる。光むらが低減できるため、ヘッドライトの大型化、大径化が容易となる。第2の光源の位置決定が容易になるため、導光部材の構造設計が容易で、形状の自由度を高めることができる。

Description
ヘッドライトが大型化し、大径化した場合は、さらに分割数を増やすことで、色むらを抑制することができる。ただし、第2光源(118)の数は増える。
しかし、ヘッドライトの形状が多様化する中、導光部(導光部材)の構造設計が容易で、形状の自由度を高めることができるベッドライト構造が求められる。
前記リフレクターの周囲を縁取るようにして前記ハウジングに取付けられ光を通すと共に光る導光部材と、車両正面視で前記ライトカバーの陰になる陰になる部位に配置され前記導光部材へ導光部材用光線を発射する第2の光源と、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源の点灯状態を制御する制御部とを備えていることを特徴とする。
ロービームモードが選択されたときには、ハイ・ロー兼用リフレクター側の第1の光源を点灯すると共に第2の光源を点灯し、ハイビーム専用リフレクター側の第1の光源は消灯する制御を実行することを特徴とする。
第2の光源の位置決定が容易になるため、導光部材の構造設計が容易で、形状の自由度を高めることができる。
連結部は明るくなるが、ライトカバーで覆うことで、導光部材の光むらを防止することができる。
この方向指示灯31L、31Rは、車両正面視で、奥のグリップガード32L、32Rと重なっている。
取付部51、51の近傍において、連結部52、52に第2の光源55、55が取付けられる。第2の光源55、55は発光ダイオードである。
連結部52は断面が円である。円は正円が望ましいが、楕円、長円であってもよい。
すなわち、車体中心線56の左右にリフレクター45、46及び左右のレンズ49L、49Rが各々配置される。そして、略W字形状を呈する導光部材50の左右端に、第2の光源55、55が各々配置される。
すなわち、図11(a)に示すように、ハイビームモードでは、左右の第1の光源63、63を点灯すると共に第2の光源55、55を点灯する。左右のリフレクター45、46が光ると共に導光部材50が光る。
Claims (5)
- ハウジング(41)に収納されヘッドライト用光線を発射する第1の光源(63)と、前記ハウジング(41)の前面を覆う遮光性のライトカバー(48)と、このライトカバー(48)と前記ハウジング(41)の間に配置され前記第1の光源(63)が発射した光線を前方へ反射するリフレクター(45、46)と、前記ライトカバー(48)に設けられ前記光線を絞りつつ通過させるレンズ(49L、49R)とを備えている車両用ヘッドライト構造において、
前記リフレクター(45、46)の周囲を縁取るようにして前記ハウジング(41)に取付けられ光を通すと共に光る導光部材(50)と、車両正面視で前記ライトカバー(48)の陰になる部位に配置され前記導光部材(50)へ導光部材用光線を発射する第2の光源(55)と、前記第1の光源(63)及び前記第2の光源(55)の点灯状態を制御する制御部(64)とを備えていることを特徴とする車両用ヘッドライト構造。 - 前記リフレクター(45、46)は、凹面鏡の上半部を除いた下半部凹面鏡であり、前記第1の光源(63)は、下へ光線を発射する発光ダイオードであり、前記第2の光源(55)は前記リフレクター(45、46)より上に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用ヘッドライト構造。
- 前記車両は鞍乗り型車両(10)であり、
この車両の車体中心線(56)の左右に、前記第1の光源(63)、リフレクター(45、46)及びレンズが各々配置され、
前記導光部材(50)は、車両正面視で、略W字形状を呈し、
前記第2の光源(55)は、前記導光部材(50)の左右に各々取付けられていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両用ヘッドライト構造。 - 前記左右のリフレクター(45、46)は、一方がハイビーム専用リフレクター(46)で、他方がハイ・ロー兼用リフレクター(45)であり、
前記制御部(64)は、ハイビームモードが選択されたときには、前記左右の第1の光源(63)を点灯すると共に前記第2の光源(55)を点灯し、
ロービームモードが選択されたときには、前記ハイ・ロー兼用リフレクター(45)側の第1の光源(63)を点灯すると共に前記第2の光源(55)を点灯し、前記ハイビーム専用リフレクター(46)側の第1の光源(63)は消灯する制御を実行することを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両用ヘッドライト構造。 - 前記導光部材(50)は、導入した光を輝かせる輝光部(53)と、前記第2の光源(55)と前記輝光部(53)を連結する連結部(52)とを備え、この連結部(52)は円断面であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の車両用ヘッドライト構造。
