Claims (6)
- アレイ基板と、
前記アレイ基板に対向する対向基板と、
前記アレイ基板と前記対向基板との間に保持された液晶分子を含むネガ型の液晶層と、
前記アレイ基板の表面に接着された位相差板と、
前記位相差板に貼合され、第1吸収軸を備える第1偏光板と、
前記対向基板の表面に接着され、前記液晶分子の初期配向方向と平行かつ前記第1吸収軸と直交する第2吸収軸を備える第2偏光板と、
前記第2偏光板に対向するカバー部材と、
前記第2偏光板と前記カバー部材とを接着する紫外線硬化樹脂と、
を備える液晶表示装置。 - 前記紫外線硬化樹脂は、前記第2偏光板の表面及び側面に接触している請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2吸収軸は、画像を表示するアクティブエリアの短辺と平行である請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記アレイ基板は、さらに、前記第2吸収軸の方向と平行に延出するゲート配線を備える請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記カバー部材は、前記紫外線硬化樹脂側にタッチセンサを備える請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記アレイ基板は、さらに、第1電極と、前記第1電極を覆う絶縁膜と、前記絶縁膜上で前記第1電極と対向し前記初期配向方向に対して90度未満の方向に延出したスリットを有する第2電極と、を備える請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
