Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 単一の光ファイバを介して光信号を送受信する光トランシーバであって、
前記光信号を送信する発光素子と、前記光信号を受信する受光素子と、を備え、
前記発光素子は、前記受光素子の受光面上に当該受光面と同軸に配置されたサファイア基板と、前記サファイア基板上に積層された窒化物半導体層とを含んで構成されたLEDであることを特徴とする単芯光トランシーバ。 - 前記発光素子は、当該発光素子の発光波長に対して透明性を有する樹脂を介して前記受光素子の前記受光面に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記樹脂は、エポキシ系樹脂又はシリコーン系樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項2記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記発光素子におけるカソード電極パッド及びアノード電極パッドは、いずれも前記発光素子の発光面側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記発光素子から送信される前記光信号の波長は、450nm〜600nmであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記発光素子から送信される前記光信号の波長は、510nmであることを特徴とする請求項5記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記発光素子の動作時に前記受光素子の動作を停止させ、前記受光素子の動作時に前記発光素子の動作を停止させるスイッチを更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
- 前記受光素子のアノード−カソード間を放電スイッチを介して接続し、
前記発光素子の動作時に、前記放電スイッチをオンし、
前記受光素子の動作時に、前記放電スイッチをオフにすることを特徴とする請求項7記載の単芯光トランシーバ。 - 前記受光素子のカソード端が放電スイッチを介して基準電位に接続し、
前記発光素子の動作時に、前記放電スイッチをオンし、
前記受光素子の動作時に、前記放電スイッチをオフにすることを特徴とする請求項7記載の単芯光トランシーバ。 - 前記単一の光ファイバはプラスチックオプティカルファイバであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の単芯光トランシーバ。
