Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing an organosilicon compound and a catalyst composition, and more particularly to a method for producing an organosilicon compound using a nickel complex compound having an N-salicylideneaniline ligand as a catalyst.
The hydrosilylation reaction in which hydrosilanes are added to unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds such as alkenes and alkynes is one of useful reactions capable of forming a carbon-silicon bond, and is used in a wide range of fields. Conventionally, platinum complexes such as a Karstedt catalyst and a Speier catalyst have been mainly used in such hydrosilylation reactions, but in recent years, a method of utilizing a transition metal such as nickel for the hydrosilylation reaction has been proposed.

If such a reaction can be carried out with higher yield and lower cost, organosilicon can be used. It can be an excellent technique that leads to cost reduction of materials using compounds.
The object of the present invention is to find a compound that acts as a catalyst in the hydrosilylation reaction of alkenes and alkynes, and to provide a new method for producing an organosilicon compound.
