Claims (39)
- モバイルデバイス上のバッテリ消費量を節約する方法であって、
モバイルデバイス上のユーザ活動の特性を使用して、該モバイルデバイス上のバッテリ消費量を最適化するように該モバイルデバイスの挙動をローカルに調節する段階と、
前記モバイルデバイス上の前記ユーザ活動の前記特性を更に使用して、該モバイルデバイスと無線通信しているサーバに該モバイルデバイスとの通信頻度を修正させる段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記モバイルデバイスの前記挙動の前記調節は、該モバイルデバイス上の無線の使用を調節する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。

を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記バッチ転送は、第2の優先度タイプのイベントが前記サーバにおいて検出された時に行われ、
前記第2の優先度タイプは、前記第1の優先度タイプよりも高い優先度のものである、
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の方法。 - 前記バッチ転送は、前記モバイルデバイスから受信したデータが該モバイルデバイス上の無線使用を示す時にトリガされることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の方法。
- ネットワークリソース利用度を改善し、かつ無線ネットワーク内のモバイルデバイス上のバッテリ消費量を節約するためのシステムであって、
モバイルデバイス上に常駐するモバイルクライアントであって、無線ネットワーク内でトランザクションの時間的重要度を使用して該モバイルデバイスの無線使用を調節し、バッテリ電力を節約するために該モバイルデバイス上のバッテリ使用を最適化する前記モバイルクライアントと、
前記無線ネットワーク内で前記モバイルクライアントとソースサーバとに結合されたプロキシサーバと、
を含み、
前記プロキシサーバも、前記無線ネットワーク内で前記トランザクションの前記時間的重要度を使用して前記モバイルデバイスと通信する際の帯域幅を抑制する、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記モバイルクライアントは、前記モバイルデバイス上のユーザ活動の特性を使用して該モバイルデバイスの無線使用をローカルに調節し、該モバイルデバイス上のバッテリ消費量を最適化することを特徴とする請求項33に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロキシサーバは、前記モバイルデバイス上の前記ユーザ活動の前記特性を更に使用して該モバイルデバイスとの通信頻度を調節することを特徴とする請求項33に記載のシステム。
- 低電力無線モード又は高電力無線モードが、前記トランザクションの前記時間的重要度に基づいて前記モバイルデバイスに対して使用され、
タイムクリティカルなトランザクションが、ユーザ主導型データ転送から生じるトランザクションを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項33に記載のシステム。 - 無線ネットワーク内のネットワークリソース利用度を改善するためのシステムであって、
無線ネットワーク内でモバイルデバイス上で第1の優先度タイプを有するイベントの発生を検出するための手段と、
前記モバイルデバイスと無線通信しているサーバへのバッチ式転送に間に合う異なるインスタンスでの前記第1の優先度タイプを有するイベントの複数の発生を蓄積するための手段と、
前記サーバにおいて第1の優先度タイプを有するイベントの発生を検出するための手段と、
前記モバイルデバイスへのバッチ式転送に間に合う異なるインスタンスでの前記第1の優先度タイプを有するイベントの複数の発生を蓄積するための手段と、
を含み、
前記第2の優先度タイプは、前記第1の優先度タイプよりも高い優先度のものである、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記第1の優先度タイプを有するイベントが、電子メールの削除、既読又は未読としてのメッセージのマーク付け、及びメッセージの移動のうちの1つ又はそれよりも多くを含むことを特徴とする請求項37に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の優先度タイプを有するイベントが、メッセージの受信、メッセージの送信、付加的なコンテンツをロードするか又はコンテンツをダウンロードする要求、新しいカレンダイベント、コンタクトを追加又は編集するトランザクション、及び設定を変えるトランザクションのうちの1つ又はそれよりも多くを含むことを特徴とする請求項37に記載のシステム。
