Description
Claims (11)
- 機械的に駆動されてエンジンへの空気の流量を制御するスーパーチャージャ(24)に連結された内燃エンジン(20)の制御方法であって、
前記エンジン(20)の定常運転状態を規定し、
前記エンジン(20)の運転パラメータを監視して、該エンジン(20)が前記定常運転状態から外れて過渡運転状態で運転しているか否かを判定し、更に、
前記過渡運転状態における前記エンジン(20)の運転中に前記スーパーチャージャ(24)からの空気の流量を調整し、燃料/空気の混合気を所定の比率に維持して、前記過渡運転状態における前記エンジン(20)の運転中における前記エンジン(20)からのエミッションを最小限にすることを含む制御方法。 - 更に、前記エンジン(20)が前記過渡運転状態で運転しているとき、前記スーパーチャージャ(24)からの燃焼空気の流量を調整した後、前記エンジン(20)への入力を調整して、前記燃料/空気の混合気を所定の比率の範囲内に維持することを含む請求項1に記載の制御方法。
- 前記エンジン(20)への入力の調整は、更に、前記エンジン(20)の燃料噴射タイミングの調整として規定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の制御方法。
- 更に、前記運転パラメータの値の範囲を前記定常運転状態に関連付けすることを含む請求項1に記載の制御方法。
- 運転パラメータを監視することは、該運転パラメータの値を測定することとして規定される請求項4に記載の制御方法。
- 更に、前記運転パラメータの測定値を前記運転パラメータの値の関連付けられた範囲と比較して、前記運転パラメータの測定値が前記定常運転状態に関連付けられた前記運転パラメータの値の範囲外であるか否かを判定することを含む請求項5に記載の制御方法。
- 前記運転パラメータは、前記エンジン(20)内の燃料/空気混合比、前記エンジン(20)の速度、前記エンジン(20)の排出ガスエミッションレベル、前記エンジン(20)の燃料噴射タイミング及び燃焼空気の流量を含む運転パラメータのグループから選択された前記エンジン(20)の運転パラメータを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の制御方法。
- 前記定常運転状態の規定は、更に、エンジン(20)が経時的な変化なく運転する運転範囲として規定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御方法。
- 運転範囲は、更に、エンジン(20)の運転速度の範囲として規定されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の制御法。
- 更に、前記定常運転状態を外れたエンジン(20)の運転としてエンジン(20)の過渡運転状態を規定することを含む請求項8に記載の制御方法。
- 前記エンジン(20)は、ディーゼルエンジンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御方法。
