Abstract
【解決手段】車両用灯具1は、LED2,2と、LED2,2からの光によって発光する長尺な2つの導光体3,3と、2つの導光体3,3の前方を個別に覆う2つの透光レンズ4,4とを備える。2つの導光体3,3は、間隙部分を介して互いの長手方向の一端部を対向させている。2つの透光レンズ4,4のうち、2つの導光体3,3間の間隙部分に位置する各端部は、互いに前後方向に重なるように形成されているとともに、2つの導光体3,3の各一端部から出射された光を前方へ向けるための表面加工部Fを前面に有している。

前記光源からの光によって発光する長尺な2つの導光体と、
前記2つの導光体の前方を個別に覆う2つの透光レンズと、
を備え、
前記2つの導光体は、間隙部分を介して互いの長手方向の一端部を対向させており、
前記2つの透光レンズのうち、前記2つの導光体間の前記間隙部分に位置する各端部は、互いに前後方向に重なるように形成されているとともに、前記2つの導光体の各一端部から出射された光を前方へ向けるための表面加工部を前面に有していることを特徴とする。
図1は、本実施形態における車両用灯具1を備える車両10の要部を示す正面図であり、図2は、図1のIII−III線での断面図である。
なお、以下の説明では、「前」「後」「左」「右」「上」「下」との記載は、特に断りのない限り、車両用灯具1から見た方向、ひいては車両10から見た方向を意味するものとする。
これにより、2つの導光体3,3を全長に亘って発光させることができるのは勿論のこと、2つの導光体3,3間の間隙部分ができてしまう2つのランプユニット間も発光させることができ、発光時の見栄えを好適なものとすることができる。
また、車両用灯具1の光源はLEDでなくともよい。

Claims (3)
- 光源と、
前記光源からの光によって発光する長尺な2つの導光体と、
前記2つの導光体の前方を個別に覆う2つの透光レンズと、
を備え、
前記2つの導光体は、間隙部分を介して互いの長手方向の一端部を対向させており、
前記2つの透光レンズのうち、前記2つの導光体間の前記間隙部分に位置する各端部は、互いに前後方向に重なるように形成されているとともに、前記2つの導光体の各一端部から出射された光を前方へ向けるための表面加工部を前面に有していることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記2つの透光レンズのうち、前記2つの導光体間の前記間隙部分に位置する各端部は、一方の透光レンズの端部が後方への段付き状に形成されて後段部を有しており、他方の透光レンズの端部が前記一方の透光レンズの前記後段部の前方まで延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記表面加工部はカット加工又はシボ加工が施された面であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用灯具。
