Abstract
【解決手段】密閉型二次電池10は、開口部を有し、電極体13及び電解液12を収容する容器本体11Aと、容器本体11Aの開口部を封口する封口板11Bと、封口板11Bを貫通して形成され、容器本体11A内に電解液12を注入するための注液孔と、注液孔の封口板表面の孔周囲部に環状の空隙を有して位置決めされ、周縁部を封口板11Bに溶接されて注液孔を封止する封止体20とを備える。

Description
図1は、第1の実施形態に係る密閉型二次電池10の外観を示す斜視図、図2は、密閉型二次電池10の一部を示す断面図、図3は、封止体20を示す斜視図である。
先ず、容器本体11Aと電極体13、及び電極端子14,15が取り付けられた封口板11Bとを用意する。そして、容器本体11A内に電極体13等の電池要素を配置した後、封口板11Bを容器本体11Aの開口部端面上に載置し、この封口板11Bの全周を溶接して、外装容器11を形成する。この際、電極体13を電極端子14,15に電気的に接続する。
図5は、第2の実施形態に係る密閉型二次電池10の封口板11Bの注液孔17近傍を示す断面図であり、図2と共通する部分は同一符号を付して詳しい説明は省略する。
図6は、第3の実施形態に係る密閉型二次電池10の封口板11Bの注液孔17近傍を示す断面図であり、図5と共通する部分は同一符号を付して詳しい説明は省略する。
図7は、第4の実施形態に係る密閉型二次電池の封口板11Bの注液孔17近傍を示す断面図であり、図5及び図6と共通する部分は同一符号を付して詳しい説明は省略する。
図8は、第5の実施形態に係る密閉型二次電池の封口板11Bの注液孔17近傍を示す断面図であり、図7と共通する部分は同一符号を付して詳しい説明は省略する。
Claims (5)
- 開口部を有し、電極体及び電解液を収容する容器本体と、
前記容器本体の開口部を封口する封口板と、
前記封口板を貫通して形成され、前記容器本体内に電解液を注入するための注液孔と、
前記注液孔の前記封口板表面の孔周囲部に環状の空隙を有して位置決めされ、周縁部を前記封口板に溶接されて前記注液孔を封止する封止体と、
を具備したことを特徴とする密閉型二次電池。 - 前記封止体は、一端面が開口し、他端面が閉塞する中空部材からなり、
前記他端面の中心部に、前記一端面より突出する長さで前記注液孔よりも外径の小さい突起を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記封止体は、一端面が開口し、他端面が閉塞する中空部材からなり、
前記封口板表面の孔周囲部に前記注液孔と連通し、前記封止体が前記一端面側から嵌入される凹部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記封止体は、平板部材からなり、
この封止体を、前記封口板表面の孔周囲部に前記注液孔と連通して形成された凹部の開口を閉塞する状態に位置決めする位置決め手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の密閉型電池。 - 開口部を有し、電極体及び電解液を収容する容器本体と、前記容器本体の開口部を封口する封口板と、前記封口板を貫通して形成され、前記容器本体内に電解液を注入するための注液孔と、前記注液孔を封止する封止体とを備えた密閉型二次電池の製造方法であって、
前記電極体を収容した前記容器本体の開口部を前記封口板で封口した後、前記封口板に形成された注液孔を通して前記容器本体内に前記電解液を注入し、
前記電解液の注入後、前記封止体を、前記注液孔の前記封口板表面の孔周囲部に環状の空隙を有して載置し、
前記封止体が載置された前記容器本体を減圧し、
減圧後、前記封止体の周縁部を前記封口板に溶接して、前記注液孔を封止することを特徴とする密閉型二次電池の製造方法。
