Claims (12)
- コネクタであって、
シールドと、
該シールド内に部分的に位置決めされ、嵌合面を形成するようにシールド内に位置決めされた舌状部を有する絶縁性ハウジングと、
該絶縁性ハウジングによって支持された第1の信号端子、第2の信号端子及び第1の接地端子とを有し、
端子のうちの2本が、舌状部上において第1列に位置決めされ、端子のうちの1本が舌状部上において第2列に位置決めされ、各端子は、接点部分、テール部分及びそれらの間に延在する本体部分を有し、第1、第2及び第3の端子が三角端子配置で位置決めされ、該三角端子配置が接点部分からテール部分まで延在し、端子は、2列のテール部分を提供するようにコネクタ全体を通して別個の列に維持され、テール部分は、表面実装技術によって0.4〔mm〕ピッチで回路基板に取付けられるコネクタ。 - 各端子が、第1の方向に延在する第1の部分と、第1の軸と垂直な第2の方向に沿って延在する垂直部分を有する第2の部分とを有し、前記垂直部分が、絶縁性ハウジングの外側において第1の方向に一定距離だけ離された2列で位置決めされている、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 2列の垂直部分は第1の方向に0.6〔mm〕以下の距離だけ離されている、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 2列の垂直部分は第1の方向に約0.4〔mm〕の距離だけ離されている、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 第1列のテール部分は嵌合面から離れる方向に延在し、第2列のテール部分は嵌合面に向う方向に延在している、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 第1列の各端子本体は、第1の方向に沿って延在する第1の部分と、第1の方向に対して斜めの第2の方向に沿って延在する第2の部分とを有し、端子の第2の部分の一部が端子の第1の部分より広い、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 第2の部分のより広い部分の端子間距離が1〔mm〕未満である、請求項6に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記三角端子配置は第1の三角端子配置であり、コネクタは、第3の信号端子、第4の信号端子及び第2の接地端子から成る第2の三角端子配置を更に有し、第1の接地端子が、第2の接地端子と異なる列にある、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- コネクタを基板に取付ける方法であって、
嵌合面に第1の信号端子、第2の信号端子及び接地端子を含む三角端子配置を有するコネクタであって、端子のうちの2本が端子の第1列に位置決めされ、端子のうちの1本が第2列に位置決めされ、三角端子配置が嵌合面から取付面まで維持されるように第1列及び第2列がコネクタを通して延在するコネクタを提供する段階と、
コネクタを回路基板上に位置決めする段階と、
両方の端子列のテール部分を表面実装技術によって回路基板に取付けるためにリフローはんだ付を行う段階とを含み、両方の端子列のテール部分が0.4〔mm〕ピッチで取付けられる方法。 - 一方の端子列が他方の端子列から0.2〔mm〕ずらされ、それにより、一方の列のテール部分が他方の列のテール部分間の空間内に実質的に位置決めされている、請求項9に記載の方法。
- コネクタは、嵌合面から基板取付面までそれぞれ延在する少なくとも3個の三角端子配置を備えている、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 提供する段階は、端子をハウジング内に嵌合面に向う方向に挿入することによってコネクタ内に端子を取付けることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
