Abstract
【解決手段】第一の検出体31と第二の検出体32の回転角度を検出する、磁石33A、34Aや磁気検出素子33B、34B等から形成された回転角度検出手段を設けると共に、制御手段29が回転トルク検出手段と回転角度検出手段の両方を用いて回転トルクを検出することによって、磁石22等の回転トルク検出手段に鉄粉等の異物が付着した場合でも、回転角度検出手段によって回転トルクの検出が行えると共に、回転トルク検出手段の不具合も判別できるため、誤差がなく、高精度で確実な回転トルクの検出が可能な回転角度・トルク検出装置を得ることができる。

Description
図1は本発明の一実施の形態による回転角度・トルク検出装置の断面図、図2は同分解斜視図であり、同図において、21は略円筒状でステアリングに連動して回転するポリブチレンテレフタレート等の絶縁樹脂製の第一の回転体で、上端外周には平歯車部21Aが形成されている。

Claims (1)
- ステアリングに連動して回転する第一の回転体と、この第一の回転体に連結体を介して固着された第二の回転体と、上記第一の回転体の回転トルクを検出する回転トルク検出手段と、上記第一の回転体に連動して回転する第一の検出体と、上記第二の回転体に連動して回転する第二の検出体と、上記第一及び第二の検出体の回転角度を検出する回転角度検出手段と、上記回転トルク検出手段と回転角度検出手段に接続された制御手段からなり、上記制御手段が上記回転トルク検出手段と回転角度検出手段を用いて回転トルクを検出する回転角度・トルク検出装置。
