Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a welding nozzle cleaner, and in particular, a welding tool that can displace a cleaning tool in the radial direction of the welding nozzle with a simple device configuration and can easily change the design according to the diameter of the welding nozzle. It relates to a nozzle cleaner.
Spatter adheres to the tip of the nozzle of a welding torch for arc welding, but this spatter impairs the welding quality by disturbing the flow of the shielding gas, so it must be removed periodically. For this reason, the cleaning tool is relatively inserted into the tip opening of the substantially cylindrical welding nozzle and is relatively rotated around the center line of the welding nozzle, so that the deposits attached to the welding nozzle are removed. Nozzle cleaners for welding that are removed by a cleaning tool have been proposed. The device described in Patent Document 1 (see FIGS. 5 and 6 of the same document) is an example, and a pair of brushes is used as a cleaning tool, and the brushes are driven in the axial direction while being driven to rotate around the rotation axis. It is moved and inserted into the opening of the tip of the welding nozzle, and along with its axial movement, it is mechanically displaced radially outward by a biasing member (spring) and pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the welding nozzle It is supposed to be.
However, such a conventional welding nozzle cleaner is energized in conjunction with the axial movement when the cleaning tool is rotationally driven and moved in the axial direction and inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle. Since the member is displaced radially outward by the member and pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the welding nozzle, not only the structure is complicated, but also when the welding nozzles have different diameter dimensions, the cleaning tool is properly used. The design change to be pressed against the inner peripheral surface becomes cumbersome and large, and the overall apparatus cost increases. In addition, since a brush is used as a cleaning tool, a relatively large space is required, and if there is a consumable electrode or an electrode tip that supports the consumable electrode in the nozzle, there is a risk of interference with them. Therefore, it has been necessary to remove the nozzle portion from the welding torch for cleaning.
The present invention has been made against the background of the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to displace the cleaning tool in the radial direction of the welding nozzle with a simple apparatus configuration, and the diameter of the welding nozzle. In addition, it is possible to easily change the design according to the above, and to remove the deposit on the welding nozzle as it is even when there is a consumable electrode or an electrode tip in the nozzle.
In order to achieve such an object, the first invention is such that a cleaning tool is relatively inserted into the tip opening of a substantially cylindrical welding nozzle and is rotated relative to the center line of the welding nozzle. In a welding nozzle cleaner that removes deposits adhering to a welding nozzle with its cleaning tool, (a) a rotational axis centered in a positional relationship in which a predetermined rotational axis S and the center line of the welding nozzle substantially coincide with each other. A rotating pedestal that is driven to rotate about S; and (b) a plurality of rotations disposed on the rotating pedestal so as to be rotatable about a predetermined support shaft, with a cleaning claw serving as the cleaning tool at each tip. And an operating position in which the plurality of rotating members are moved in a direction in which the cleaning claws are separated from the rotational axis S and are pressed against the inner peripheral surface in the tip opening of the welding nozzle. Rotate to A biasing member biasing around the support shaft; and (d) being engaged with the plurality of pivoting members, the pivoting members are respectively resisted against the biasing force of the biasing member. The cleaning claw is held at a predetermined initial position approaching the rotation axis S as compared to the operation position, and the rotation is released by disengaging the plurality of rotation members. A switching member that allows the member to rotate to the operating position in accordance with the urging force of the urging member, and (e) an engagement position in which the switching member is engaged with the rotating member, and its rotation. And a switching drive device that moves to an engagement release position where the engagement with the moving member is released.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the welding nozzle cleaner according to the first aspect of the invention, the switching member is disposed non-rotatable around the rotation axis S separately from the rotary base, and is engaged by the switching drive device. By being moved to a position and being engaged with the plurality of rotating members, the rotating members are respectively held at the initial positions, and according to the urging force of the urging member, The rotation of the rotating pedestal is braked by the friction generated between the two.
3rd invention is the nozzle cleaner for welding of 1st invention or 2nd invention, (a) The said cleaning claw is the state in which the said rotation member was hold | maintained in the said initial position, and the said rotating shaft from the said rotation member Provided so as to protrude in a direction substantially parallel to the center S and inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle, and (b) in a state where the cleaning claw is inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle, At the proximal end side portion of the cleaning claw located outside the distal end opening of the welding nozzle, an outer side edge portion that is separated from the rotation axis S involved in the removal of the deposit is provided at the proximal end. A curved portion that is curved outward as it goes to the side is provided.
A fourth invention is the nozzle cleaner for welding according to any one of the first to third inventions, wherein (a) the plurality of rotating members are provided at a plurality of locations around the rotation axis S at the rotation axis S. A plurality of support shafts disposed at right angles to a straight line orthogonal to the rotation axis S in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis S are rotatably disposed, and (b) the rotation member Is provided with the cleaning claw so as to protrude in a direction substantially parallel to the rotational axis S while being held at the initial position, and is latched on the opposite side of the cleaning claw with the support shaft interposed therebetween. The urging member is locked to the locking portion, and the urging force in the direction approaching the rotation axis S is applied to the rotation member so that the rotating member rotates to the operating position. (C) the switching member is the same as the rotational axis S, while being urged to move. A single member disposed in the axial direction so as to be movable in the axial direction, is made to approach the rotating member from the locking portion side of the plurality of rotating members, and is connected to the rotation axis S of the locking portion. By engaging with the adjacent inner side edge portion, the engaging portion is moved in a direction away from the rotation axis S against the urging force of the urging member, and the plurality of rotating members Are each held in the initial position.
In such a welding nozzle cleaner, when the switching member is moved from the engagement position to the disengagement position by the switching drive device, each of the plurality of rotating members is operated from the initial position according to the urging force of the urging member. The cleaning claw provided on the rotating member is pressed against the inner peripheral surface in the tip opening of the welding nozzle, while the rotating pedestal is rotated around the rotation axis S, The cleaning claw removes deposits such as spatter attached to the inner peripheral surface of the tip opening of the welding nozzle. That is, it is provided on the rotating member only by moving the switching member to the disengagement position by the switching drive device without moving the rotating base on which the rotating member is disposed in the axial direction of the rotation axis S. Since the cleaning claw can be moved in the radial direction of the welding nozzle and pressed against the inner peripheral surface, the apparatus can be configured easily and inexpensively, and the position of the support shaft can be adjusted even when the diameter of the welding nozzle is different. It can be easily handled by simply changing the shape of the rotating member. In addition, the cleaning claw provided on the rotating member is moved in the radial direction of the welding nozzle according to the urging force of the urging member. Without carrying out the steps, the cleaning claw can be appropriately pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the welding nozzle regardless of the difference in diameter, thereby removing the deposits.
On the other hand, since a cleaning claw is provided as a cleaning tool, even when a consumable electrode or an electrode tip is present in the nozzle, the cleaning claw is not inserted into the annular gap between the nozzle and the welding nozzle. Can be inserted to remove deposits. Accordingly, it is not always necessary to remove the nozzle from the welding torch. For example, the welding torch is moved to a cleaning position directly above the welding nozzle cleaner by using a welding robot that performs welding by moving the welding torch according to a predetermined movement path. In this state, the welding nozzle cleaner can be used to clean the welding nozzle, and the welding nozzle cleaning can be incorporated into automatic welding for automation. Moreover, since the cleaning claw has higher rigidity than the brush and can be pressed against the welding nozzle with a high pressing force (biasing force), the deposits can be efficiently removed.
In the second aspect of the invention, when the switching member is moved to the engagement position by the switching drive device after the cleaning of the welding nozzle, the rotation members are respectively rotated to the initial positions, and in accordance with the urging force of the urging member. Since the rotation of the rotating pedestal is braked by the friction generated between the rotating member and the switching member, the rotation of the rotating pedestal can be stopped quickly without the need for a brake device, and a series of cleaning operations can be performed. Cycle time is reduced.
In the third invention, since the cleaning claw is provided so as to protrude in a direction substantially parallel to the rotation axis S in a state where the rotating member is held at the initial position, the cleaning claw is provided at the tip opening of the welding nozzle. In the insertion state, the proximal end portion of the cleaning claw positioned outside the distal end opening of the welding nozzle is curved outwardly away from the rotational axis S. Therefore, the rotating pedestal on which the rotating member is disposed and the welding nozzle are relatively displaced in the axial direction of the rotation axis S, and the curved portion is opened at the tip opening of the welding nozzle. By pressing on the edge, the deposits attached to the opening edge can be appropriately removed.
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the rotation members are respectively disposed on the plurality of support shafts provided in the predetermined postures at the plurality of locations around the rotation axis S. The rotation members are substantially the same as the rotation axis S. The cleaning claw is provided so as to protrude in a parallel direction, and the engaging portion is provided on the opposite side of the cleaning claw across the support shaft so that the urging member is locked. A plurality of rotating members can be held at their initial positions by a single switching member arranged concentrically so as to be movable in the axial direction, and the apparatus is configured simply and inexpensively. Further, at the initial position, the engagement with the switching member only prevents the rotation to the operating position side, so when the cleaning claw is relatively inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle, In the case of interference with the tip opening or the adhering matter attached to the tip opening, the rotating member further rotates in the direction in which the cleaning claw approaches the rotation axis S against the urging force of the urging member. It is possible to move and escape, and it is possible to prevent an excessive load from acting on a device (such as a welding robot) for inserting the cleaning claw relatively into the tip opening of the welding nozzle or the cleaning claw.
The welding nozzle cleaner of the present invention cleans, for example, a nozzle of a consumable electrode type or non-consumable electrode type gas shielded arc welding which contains an electrode tip and injects a shielding gas from its periphery. It is preferably used for the cleaning, but it can also be used for cleaning the nozzles of other welding devices having a cylindrical welding nozzle. The nozzle for welding may be a nozzle having a tapered portion that gradually decreases in diameter toward the tip, as well as in the case of a cylindrical shape with a constant diameter. The deposit adhering to the welding nozzle is, for example, spatter that is solidified by the molten metal scattered during welding.
The welding nozzle may be removed from the welding torch and the like, and the deposit may be removed by the welding nozzle cleaner of the present invention, but the deposit removal process is performed with the nozzle still attached to the welding torch or the like. It can also be done. In the automatic welding executed by the welding robot, for example, a cleaning process for removing deposits by a welding nozzle cleaner is incorporated every certain number of times of welding, and the nozzle is automatically attached while attached to the welding torch. A kimono removal process may be performed.
The rotating pedestal on which the rotating member having the cleaning claw is rotationally driven around the rotation axis S removes the deposit on the welding nozzle by the cleaning claw. For example, you may make it rotationally drive in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of a rotation base. The cleaning process can be performed by rotating only the rotating base of the welding nozzle cleaner without rotating the welding nozzle. The rotary pedestal is rotated around the rotation axis S by a rotary drive device such as an air motor rotated by pressure air or an electric motor rotated by electric power.
The rotating member having the cleaning claw may be a flat plate or a three-dimensional three-dimensional shape, and various modes are possible. The cleaning claw has high rigidity, and it is removed by scraping or breaking the deposit by being rotated relative to the deposit such as spatter by the biasing force of the biasing member. It may be a simple straight line, but may have one or a plurality of triangular protrusions. The cleaning claw may be provided integrally with the rotating member, but may be configured separately and attached integrally to the rotating member by fixing means such as a bolt, welding, adhesive, or the like.
For example, a plurality of rotating members are arranged symmetrically with respect to the rotation axis S, but three or more rotation members can be provided around the rotation axis S at equal angular intervals. Various forms are possible for the form. For example, the same number of support shafts as the rotation members are provided. However, when a pair of rotation members are arranged symmetrically with respect to the rotation axis S, a pair of support shafts is provided by a single support shaft orthogonal to the rotation axis S. It is also possible to support the rotating member.
The urging member that urges the rotating member is disposed between the rotating member and the rotating base for each rotating member, for example, but one or more urging members straddling the plurality of rotating members. It is also possible to dispose a member and bias each of the plurality of rotating members to rotate to the operating position. As the urging member, for example, a spring member such as a compression coil spring, a tension coil spring, or a torsion coil spring is preferably used, but an elastic body such as rubber may be employed.
In order to relatively insert the cleaning claw into the tip opening of the welding nozzle, for example, an insertion device for linearly moving the rotating base or the like in the axial direction of the rotation axis S is provided. You may make it move linearly to the axial direction of S. Using the welding robot, the cleaning claw is inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle by linearly moving in the axial direction of the rotation axis S while the welding nozzle is still attached to the welding torch or the like. You may make it.
The switching member is moved to an engagement position and an engagement release position by, for example, linear reciprocation, and is driven by a direct-acting switching drive device such as a fluid pressure (air or hydraulic pressure) cylinder or a feed screw mechanism. However, various modes are possible, for example, it may be moved to the engagement position and the engagement release position by being rotated by an electric motor, an air motor, or the like.
In the second invention, the switching member is arranged so as not to rotate around the rotation axis S separately from the rotating base. However, in implementing the first invention, the switching member and the switching drive device are arranged on the rotating base. The rotary pedestal may be rotated around the rotation axis S. Further, when the switching member is moved to the engagement position and engaged with the plurality of rotating members, the rotation is caused by the friction generated between the rotating member and the switching member according to the urging force of the urging member. Although the rotation of the pedestal is braked, a brake device for stopping the rotation of the rotating pedestal can be provided separately, and when the rotary pedestal is driven to rotate by an electric motor, the braking should be performed by regenerative brake control of the electric motor. Is also possible.
In the third aspect of the invention, since a curved portion that curves outward is provided at the proximal end portion of the cleaning claw, there is a slight difference in the diameter of the tip opening of the welding nozzle, Regardless of the difference in the amount of adhesion, the curved portion can properly remove the deposit on the opening edge of the welding nozzle. However, when practicing other inventions, the curved portion is bent outward at a predetermined angle instead of the curved portion. A bent portion such as an L-shape may be provided. Such a curved portion or a bent portion may not be provided, and the deposit may be removed simply by being pressed against the inner peripheral surface in the tip opening of the welding nozzle. The curved portion may be a smooth arc shape, but may be a curved shape as a whole, and may be constituted by a plurality of straight portions.
In the fourth invention, a plurality of support shafts are provided at right angles to a straight line orthogonal to the rotation axis S in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis S, and the rotation member is rotatably supported. However, the support shaft may be arranged in an appropriate manner such that the support shaft can be arranged in a posture inclined from a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis S or in a posture parallel to the rotation axis S. It is done. According to the arrangement form of the support shaft, the arrangement form of the cleaning claw with respect to the rotation member, the engagement form of the urging member, the shape and movement form of the switching member, and the like are appropriately set.
In the fourth aspect of the invention, the switching member is constituted by a single member that is arranged concentrically with the rotational axis S so as to be movable in the axial direction. A separate switching member may be provided for each moving member, or the switching member may be moved in a direction in which the switching member approaches and separates from the rotation axis S (a nozzle radial direction) in accordance with the rotating form of the rotating member. Further, it may be configured to rotate around the rotation axis S.
In the fourth invention, the switching member is brought close to the rotating member from the engaging portion side of the rotating member, and the rotating member is attached to the tip portion engaged with the side edge portion inside the engaging portion. In order to smoothly rotate to the initial position, it is desirable to provide, for example, a tapered portion or a pyramid portion having a smaller diameter toward the distal end side. When a pair of rotating members are provided symmetrically with respect to the rotation axis S, a wedge-shaped portion whose plate thickness becomes thinner toward the tip end side may be provided. It is also possible to provide an inclination, a curvature, or the like at the inner side edge portion of the locking portion of the rotating member with which the switching member is engaged.
In the implementation of other inventions, the shape and positional relationship of the engaging portion between the switching member and the rotating member can be smoothly rotated to the initial position, and maintained at the initial position. When the cleaning claw is inserted into the tip opening of the welding nozzle in the state of contact, and the cleaning claw interferes with a deposit or the like, the cleaning claw is rotated against the urging force of the urging means. It is desirable to set so that it is allowed to further rotate and escape in a direction approaching. When braking the rotation of the rotating base by friction generated between the rotating member and the switching member at the initial position, the shape of the engaging portion can be set so that a predetermined braking force is obtained.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a view showing a welding nozzle cleaner 10 (hereinafter simply referred to as a nozzle cleaner 10) according to an embodiment of the present invention, where (a) is a front view and (b) is viewed from the left side of (a). It is a left side view. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the main part of the
The
The pair of
The rotating
When the engagement with the
As shown in FIG. 6, when the cleaning
The
The tip of the
The
The air
In FIG. 4, step S <b> 1 is executed when the number of times of welding by the
In step S2, the
As shown in FIG. 6, when the
When the
When the cleaning process in step S4 is performed for a predetermined time, step S5 is executed, the air
As shown in FIG. 2, when the

Thus, in the
On the other hand, since the cleaning
In this embodiment, when the
In the present embodiment, since the cleaning
Further, in the present embodiment, two symmetrical positions with respect to the rotation axis S are in a posture perpendicular to the straight line perpendicular to the rotation axis S in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis S. A pair of
Further, in the initial position, since the
