Description
約22ポンドの100%綿シャツ及びパンツを洗剤で洗った。約12ミリリットル(mL)の酸洗い剤、ターボライザー(TurboLizer)を第一の薬品供給ホッパーに加えた。酸洗い剤を加えた後、次に約15mLの布帛弛緩剤を第二の薬品供給ホッパーに加えた。次に約15mLの布帛柔軟剤、ターボフレッシュ(TurboFresh)を第三の供給ホッパーに加えた。3つの化学製品の全てを含むこの浴槽にテキスタイルを約4分間保持した。その後に、シャツ及びパンツを洗濯機から取り出し、重量として最高である2つの1ガロン採水器を備えたプラスチックボックスに入れた。約30分後、シャツ及びパンツをプラスチックボックスを取り出し、ワイヤーハンガーに吊るし、空気乾燥するか、若しくは蒸気トンネルを通じて案内した。次に、参考基準と比較してテキスタイルの平滑性の外観を評価付けることによる標準的な照明及び表示範囲を用いて、シャツ及びパンツに検査を受けさせた。4つの異なる平滑性評価を用いた:許容できない、非常に劣る、許容できる、及び優良。

実施例1、2、及び3に使用された布帛弛緩剤は、洗浄工程中の布帛弛緩剤として少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基を有する機能性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーを含んでいた。一方で、比較例A、B、及びCの布帛弛緩剤は、様々な他のポリマーを用いた。
実施例1、2、及び3並びに比較例D、E、及びFに使われた布帛弛緩剤の全てに、少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基を有するポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーが含まれていた。特に、実施例1及び比較例Dは同じ布帛弛緩剤(テゴプレン(Tegopren)6922)を試験し、実施例2及び比較例Eは同じ布帛弛緩剤(チノテックス(Tinotex)CMA)を試験し、そして実施例3及び比較例Fは同じ布帛弛緩剤(ホルマシル(Formasil)888)を試験した。約22ポンドのテキスタイルを約12ミリリットル(mL)の酸洗い剤、15mLの布帛弛緩剤、及び15mLの布帛柔軟剤を有する洗浴に入れて洗浄した。
Claims (33)
- 実質的にしわのないテキスタイル表面を提供するために、布帛弛緩剤をテキスタイル表面に塗布する方法であって、該方法が:
(a)テキスタイル表面を湿らせる工程;
(b)湿らせたテキスタイル表面上へ少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基を有する疎水性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーを含む布帛弛緩剤を塗布する工程;及び
(c)湿らせたテキスタイル表面を蒸気によって乾燥する工程
を含む、方法。 - 布帛弛緩剤を塗布する工程が、水系キャリヤー又は溶剤系キャリヤーの形態の布帛弛緩剤を塗布する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 布帛弛緩剤が、少なくとも1つのアルコキシ基をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 正電荷を持つ官能基の少なくとも1つがアンモニウム基である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 正電荷を持つ官能基の少なくとも1つが四級アンモニウム基である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーが、ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーの末端に、少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基が、ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーの骨格の一部分である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基が、ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーの側鎖の一部分である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 正電荷を持つ官能基を有するポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーが、多官能性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリジメチルシロキサンジ四級アンモニウム、及びポリ四級ポリジメチルシロキサンコポリオールからなる群の少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに:
(d)酸洗い剤をテキスタイル表面に加えて、テキスタイル表面のpHを下げる工程
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 酸洗い剤が、ギ酸、酢酸、ヒドロフルオロケイ酸、クエン酸、及びリン酸からなる群の少なくとも1つから選択される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- さらに:
(e)布帛柔軟剤をテキスタイル表面に加える工程

- テキスタイル表面を乾燥する工程が、約260華氏温度〜約280華氏温度でテキスタイル表面を乾燥する工程を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 布帛弛緩剤をテキスタイル表面に塗布する工程が、テキスタイル表面を布帛弛緩剤に少なくとも約4分間曝す工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- テキスタイル表面が、米国繊維化学者・色彩技術者協会(AATCC)試験法第124−1973号に従って試験されるとき、乾燥後に実質的にしわのないことを示す、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 洗浄プロセスの仕上げサイクル中に行なわれる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- テキスタイルを洗濯して、実質的にしわのないテキスタイルを提供する方法であって、
(a)正電荷を持つ官能基を有する疎水性、機能性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーをテキスタイルに塗布する工程;及び
(b)蒸気乾燥によりテキスタイルを乾燥する工程を含み、その際、
(c)テキスタイルが、AATCC法第124−1973号に従って試験されるとき、乾燥後に実質的にしわのないことを示す、
方法。 - 正電荷を持つ官能基を有する疎水性、機能性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーをテキスタイルに塗布する工程が、水系キャリヤー又は溶剤系キャリヤーの形態の正電荷を持つ官能基を有する疎水性、機能性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーを塗布する工程を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 機能性ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーが、ポリジメチルシロキサンポリマーの末端に、少なくとも1つの正電荷を持つ官能基を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 正電荷を持つ官能基がアンモニウムを含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 正電荷を持つ官能基が四級アンモニウムを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- さらに:
(d)テキスタイルを湿らせる工程
を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。 - さらに:
(e)酸洗い剤をテキスタイルに塗布する工程
