Abstract
【解決手段】上記の系におけるカチオン系界面活性剤の濃度は、約0.1%〜約50%(重量/重量 活性な界面活性剤)にわたり、具体的な濃度は、製品に依存する。家庭用の抗菌性表層クリーナは典型的に、約0.1%〜約4%(重量/重量)の活性なカチオン系界面活性剤を含んでなり、毛髪及び皮膚コンディショナは典型的に、約0.5%〜約3%のカチオン系界面活性剤を含んでなり、ファブリック柔軟剤は典型的に、約3%〜約15%(重量/重量)のカチオン系界面活性剤(15%で「濃縮」ファブリック柔軟剤製品という)を含んでなる。カチオン系界面活性剤の濃縮物はまた、後に希釈して調製された製品を得るために濃化することもできる。これらの濃縮物は、50%超の活性なカチオン系界面活性剤を含むことができる。

Description
懸濁されたアルギネートビーズを有し、4%の塩化ベンジルアルコニウムを含んでなる単純な抗菌性の固体表層洗浄剤を調製した。上記洗浄剤はかなりの降伏値を示し、気泡及びビーズを懸濁する能力を有していた。0.82Paの降伏値が得られた(Brookfield(登録商標)Yieldレオメーターにより測定)。濃縮物は最初に、脱イオン水の0.3%の微小繊維状セルロース混合物(1:1が混合するMFC/カチオン系グアー)を含有させて調製された。上記濃縮物は、5分間「液化」(最高速度)で、Oster(登録商標)混合機で溶液を混合することによって調製された。微小繊維状セルロース混合物を次に、8%の塩化ベンジルアルコニウムの溶液で1:1に希釈した。jiffy混合ブレードで約600回転/分で混合しながら、カチオン溶液を、微小繊維状セルロース溶液に添加した。懸濁を示すためにアルギネートビーズを添加した。室温又は45℃で、3ヵ月間にわたり、空気及び/又はアルギネートビーズの優れた懸濁が達成され、定着(settling)は観察されなかった。微小繊維状セルロースは、jiffyタイプ又はプロペラ式の混合ブレードの相対的に低い剪断力にも関わらず、良好に希釈された。
約7.5%のカチオン系界面活性剤を含んでなる、濃縮タイプの商業的ファブリック柔軟剤を調製した。「Downy(登録商標)Clean Breeze(商標)ultra concentrated」液体ファブリック柔軟剤を、MFCで改質した。0.3%の微小繊維状セルロース混合物(MFC/カチオン系グアーの1:1混合物)の濃縮物を、最高速度(液化)で設定された、Oster(登録商標)混合機を用いて5分間、蒸留水中で混合して活性化した。jiffy混合ブレードで約600回転/分で混合しながら、微小繊維状セルロース溶液を、Downy(登録商標)ultra concentratedファブリック柔軟剤で1:1に希釈した。アルギネートビーズを試験懸濁液に添加した。上記の希釈により、ビーズの非常に良好な懸濁が達成され、1.4Pa(Brookfield(登録商標)Yieldレオメーターにより測定)の降伏点となった。熱安定性を評価するため、ファブリック柔軟剤を45℃オーブンに入れた結果、4週のエージング期間にわたり、懸濁性の損失なく、優れた安定性が示された。
光輝剤を懸濁させたコンディショニングヘアスプレーを調製した。得られるヘアスプレーは、良好な噴霧特性及び優れた懸濁特性を示した。約0.2Paの降伏値(Brookfield(登録商標)Yieldレオメーターにより測定)が得られた。
脱イオン水及びEDTA二ナトリウムを、小型のOster(登録商標)混合ジャーに添加した。微小繊維状セルロース(MFC/カチオン系グアーの6:4混合物)を水面に添加し、次に、Oster(登録商標)混合ブレートを組み立て、次に上記組合せを5分間最高速度(「液化」速度)で混合した。
STS及び芳香剤を、予め加温したRH−40及びプロピレングリコールと混合し、水相において溶解させた。
残りの成分を順次添加し、混合した。その結果、懸濁された光輝剤を有する、低粘性の、噴霧可能なヘアコンディショナーが得られ、またpH4.8であった。
40%の濃度の塩化ベンジルアルコニウムと、微小繊維状セルロース(湿ケーキの形態)を有する高カチオン系界面活性剤系を調製した。アルギネートビーズ又は空気を、溶液中に懸濁した。1.85%の湿ケーキ状の微小繊維状セルロース濃縮物を、Oster(登録商標)混合機を用いて、最高速度(液化)に設定して、蒸留水中で5分間混合することにより活性化した。jiffy混合ブレードで600回転/分で混合しながら、微小繊維状セルロース溶液を、50%の塩化ベンジルアルコニウム溶液で80%に希釈した。アルギネートビーズを試験懸濁液に添加した。この湿ケーキ形態のMFCの活性(%固体)は約16%であり、最終溶液中で0.06%の活性MFCレベルを得た。上記の希釈により、視覚試験において良好な懸濁性が達成され、0.36Pa(Brookfield(登録商標)Yieldレオメーターにより測定)の降伏点が得られた。
約50%の濃度の塩化ベンジルアルコニウムと、微小繊維状セルロース(湿ケーキの形態)とを有する高カチオン系界面活性剤系を調製した。空気を溶液中に懸濁させた。0.47%の湿ケーキ状の微小繊維状セルロースを、Oster(登録商標)混合機を用いて、最高速度(液化)に設定して、50%濃度の塩化ベンジルアルコニウム溶液中において5分間混合することにより活性化した。この湿ケーキの形態のMFCの活性(%固体)は16%であり、最終溶液中で0.075%の活性MFCレベルを得た。上記の希釈により、視覚試験において空気の良好な懸濁が達成され、4.5Paの降伏点が得られた。曇りがわずかであり、透明度が非常に良好であった。
