Abstract
撮影者の意図を反映したフレームレートの変更を可能にし、既存の視聴再生環境との互換性を確保する。
【解決手段】
撮像部10は、標準フレームレートより高いフレームレートで映像信号を出力する。ズーム操作中、又はその前後を含む期間には、高い記録フレームレートで撮像部10からの映像信号を記録媒体(48)に記録し、この期間以外の期間では、標準フレームレートで映像信号を記録媒体(48)に記録する。記録フレームレートとズーム操作情報をメタデータとして記録媒体(48)に記録する。再生時には、ズーム操作中の記録映像に対し、設定された再生モードに応じて映像信号を標準フレームレートに間引いて出力する。

Description
ズーム操作中を含む期間内では、通常フレームレートより高いフレームレートで記録し、再生出力の際に標準フレームレートに間引くので、高品位な再生映像を表示できる。

Claims (5)
- 光学像を画像信号に変換する撮像手段、及び、前記撮像手段に入射する光学像を光学的にズームするか、前記撮像手段の出力画像信号を電子的にズームするズーム手段を具備する撮像部と、
前記撮像部により撮像された画像信号からなる映像信号を記録媒体に記録する記録手段であって、前記映像信号の前記記録媒体への記録フレームレート及び前記ズーム手段の前記ズーム操作情報を前記記録媒体に記録する記録手段と、
前記ズーム手段を操作するズーム操作手段と、
前記ズーム操作手段の操作に応じて、前記映像信号の前記記録媒体への記録フレームレートを制御する制御手段であって、前記ズーム操作手段の操作中を含む期間では、前記記録フレームレートを通常フレームレートよりも高くする制御手段と、
設定された再生モードに従い、前記記録媒体から前記映像信号を再生する再生手段であって、前記ズーム操作情報に従い、前記ズーム操作手段の操作中を含む期間では、前記映像信号を間引いて前記通常フレームレートで再生出力する再生手段
とを具備することを特徴とする撮像装置。 - 更に、前記ズーム手段のズーム速度を検出するズーム速度検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記ズーム速度検出手段で検出された前記ズーム速度に基づいて、前記記録フレームレートを制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の撮像装置。 - 前記ズーム操作手段の操作中を含む期間が、前記ズーム操作手段の操作中の期間のみからなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記ズーム操作手段の操作中を含む期間が、前記ズーム操作手段の操作中の期間と、その前後の期間からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記通常フレームレートの映像信号と前記通常フレームレートでない映像信号が、前記記録媒体の互いに異なるエリアに格納され管理されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の撮像装置。
