Abstract
【解決手段】高圧燃焼チャンバー16内の高圧雰囲気中で、高圧燃焼球状粒子製造用バーナ13で形成された火炎中に原料粉末を投入し、高圧下で形成される火炎の高温雰囲気内で原料粉末を溶融処理して球状化する。高圧雰囲気中で火炎を形成することにより、大気圧で形成した火炎に比べて温度の高い火炎を形成することができるので、大気圧雰囲気では不可能だった高融点材料、例えば、マグネシアやジルコニアの球状化を行うことができる。

Claims (5)
- 高圧雰囲気中で形成された火炎中に原料粉末を投入し、該原料粉末を球状化することを特徴とする球状粒子の製造方法。
- 前記原料粉末の融点に応じて前記火炎を形成する高圧雰囲気の圧力を調節することを特徴とする請求項1記載の球状粒子の製造方法。
- 前記火炎は、バーナから噴出される燃料と支燃性ガスとにより形成され、前記支燃性ガスの一部を前記バーナから旋回流として噴出させ、残部の支燃性ガスを前記バーナの軸線方向に直進流として噴出させることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の球状粒子の製造方法。
- 前記高圧雰囲気は、0.2〜10MPaの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の球状粒子の製造方法。
- 前記原料粉末は、マグネシア又はジルコニアであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の球状粒子の製造方法。
