【解決手段】第1基板101と、第1基板101と対向するように配置された第2基板102と、第1基板101および第2基板102との間に挟持された液晶層とを有する液晶表示装置であって、第1基板101は、第1電極PEと、絶縁層LEを介して第1電極PEと対向するように配置された第2電極CEと、を有し、第1電極PEは、画素電極部と、画素電極部間に設けられ画素電極部を画成する第1スリットSL1とを有し、第2電極CEは、第1スリットSL1と対向するように配置された対向電極部と、画素電極部と対向するように設けられた第2スリットSL2を有する。

Claims (2)
- 第1基板と、前記第1基板と対向するように配置された第2基板と、前記第1および第2基板との間に挟持された液晶層とを有する液晶表示装置であって、
前記第1基板は、第1電極と、絶縁層を介して前記第1電極と対向するように配置された第2電極と、を有し、
前記第1電極は、画素電極部と、前記画素電極部間に設けられ前記画素電極部を画成する第1スリットとを有し、
前記第2電極は、前記第1スリットと対向するように配置された対向電極部と、前記画素電極部と対向するように設けられた第2スリットを有する液晶表示装置。 - 前記画素電極部の幅は、前記第2スリットの幅と略等しい請求項1記載の液晶表示装置。
