Abstract
【解決手段】ハブ輪1の小径段部1bに一対の内輪16、6が圧入され、ハブ輪1にトルク伝達可能に内嵌される外側継手部材11が、固定ナット13によってハブ輪1に対して分離可能に締結された車輪用軸受装置において、外側継手部材11の肩部9と内輪6の大端面6bが研削加工されると共に、この大端面6bが研削加工後に幅すり加工され、一箇所で0.005mm2以上の鏡面部が存在しない表面状態に形成されているので、摩擦係数が減少して肩部9とのスムーズな滑りを実現することができ、長期間に亘ってスティックスリップ音の発生を防止することができる。

Description
図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は、内輪の大端面の摩擦係数と鏡面部面積との関係を示すグラフ、図3は、内輪の大端面の摩擦係数と面粗さとの関係を示すグラフ、図4は、内輪の大端面の表面状態を示す写真で、(a)は、異音ありの表面状態、(b)は、異音無しの表面状態、図5(a)は、内輪の大端面に鏡面有り品での異音測定結果を示すグラフ、(b)は、同上、鏡面無し品での異音測定結果を示すグラフ、図6は、外側継手部材の肩部の表面性状を示す模式図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウター側(図1の左側)、中央寄り側をインナー側(図1の右側)という。

Claims (9)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪とからなり、前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
前記ハブ輪にトルク伝達可能に内嵌され、固定ナットを介して軸方向に分離可能に結合された等速自在継手とを備え、
この等速自在継手の外側継手部材の肩部が前記内方部材に突き合わせ状態に当接された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外側継手部材の肩部と当接する前記内方部材の当接面が、一箇所で0.005mm2以上の鏡面部が存在しない表面状態に形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記当接面が、最大で0.001mm2の鏡面部が全体の90%以上を占める表面状態に形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記当接面の輝度値の標準偏差が2.3以下である請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記当接面の面粗さがRa0.05〜Ra0.7の範囲に設定されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材の肩部が前記内輪の大端面に突き合わせ状態に当接され、この大端面が研削加工後に幅すり加工されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部によって前記内輪が軸方向に固定され、前記外側継手部材の肩部が前記加締部に突き合わせ状態に当接されると共に、前記加締部の幅面が、塑性加工後に旋削加工によって平坦面に形成され、この平坦面が螺旋状の旋削目になるように形成されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記加締部の平坦面が旋削加工後に幅すり加工されている請求項6に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材の肩部が研削加工または旋削加工され、前記内方部材との当接面に同心円状の切削目が形成されている請求項1乃至7いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材における軸部の外周にセレーションが形成され、このセレーションに軸線に対して所定の角度傾斜した捩れ角が設けられている請求項1乃至8いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
