Abstract

【課題】 多機能を有する折畳みシートにおいて、シートクッション、シートバックの折畳み状態などを良好にすることである。
【手段】 ベースフレームにアーム１０の基端を下部リクライニング装置１によって取付け、アーム１０の先端にシートクッションＳＣを中間リクライニング装置２によって連結し、シートクッションＳＣのクッションフレーム２０の突出部２０Ａに、上部リクライニング装置３を介してシートバックＳＢを取付けてなることを特徴とする。

Description

本発明は折畳み自動車用シートに関する。
シートクッション又はシートバックのいずれか一方を他方に重ねるようにして折畳むシートには、特開２０００−１８９２６６号公報に開示されているように、多関節を使用したものがある。
これは三角形のプレート状フレームの各頂点に、シートバックの傾動用、シートクッションの傾動用及びシートバックとシートクッションの傾動用の各々のリクライニング装置を取付けてシートクッション、シートバックの傾動角度を調節すると共にシートクッションをシートバック側に折畳み得るようにしている。

以上の多関節によりシートクッション、シートバックのいずれか一方を他方側に折畳むものは、一枚のプレート状フレームに、各リクライニング装置の回動中心を設けているため、各回動中心間の距離が常に一定である。
そして、各リクライニング装置をプレート状のフレームに取付けるため、フレームの大きさが大きくなる。
従って、例えば、シートクッション、シートバックの厚みが薄いものにおいては、隙間なく折り畳むことができない…など、シートクッション、シートバックの回動変位を的確に行うことができない不具合があった。
そこで、本発明は斯様な多関節からなる折畳みシートの不具合を除去することを目的とする。
以上の目的を達成するための本発明に係る折畳みシートは、スライドレールのアッパーレールに一体に設けたベースフレームに、下部リクライニング装置を介してアームの基端を連結し、このアームの先端に中間リクライニング装置を介してシートクッションのクッションフレームを連結し、このクッションフレームと一体の突出部に、上部リクライニング機構を介してシートバックのバックフレームを連結して、シートバック、シートクッション、アームを各々前後方向に傾動自在に連結してなることを特徴とする構成である。
そして、前記各リクライニング装置は電動リクライニング装置であって、各々独立し、且つ折畳時に上部リクライニング装置と中間リクライニング装置とが連動して作動するようにするのが好ましい。
本発明によれば、シートクッション、シートバックとが各々所望の角度に調節できることは勿論、シートクッションとシートバックとが隙間なく重ね合わせて折畳むことができる。加えて、シートクッション、シートバックの各リクライニング装置による回動変位を的確に行うことができる。
そして、シートクッションにシートバックを前倒させて折り畳むことにより、このシートバックを後席のオットマンとして利用できる。
加えて、シートクッションにシートバックを折畳み状態でアームを前倒させることにより、折り畳み状態の高さが低くなるため、これを後方にスライドさせると、後席のシートクッション下方に格納できる。
以下、本発明に係る折畳みシートの一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図示する折畳みシートは自動車の車内に前後方向に三列配設するシートにおける二列目に設置するシートで、その後方には三列目のリャシートクッションＲＳＣ、リャシートバックＲＳＢからなるリャシートが設置されている。
そして、折畳みシートはスライドレール４によって、前後方向にスライド可能に取付けられており、このスライドレール４のロアレール４２はリャシートクッションＲＳＣの下方まで延設されている。
従って、以上のリャシートのリャシートクッションＲＳＣ下方には、図４に示すように、折畳みシートが折り畳まれた状態で格納できるスペースが設けてある。
折畳みシートはシートクッションＳＣ、シートバックＳＢ、スライドレール４のアッパーレールと一体のベースフレーム４１、ベースフレーム４１とシートクッションＳＣを連結するアーム１０などより構成され、シートクッションＳＣ、シートバックＳＢはその厚みが薄く形成されている。
以上のベースフレーム４１の後部に、前記アーム１０の基端を下部リクライニング装置１で連結し、この下部リクライニング装置１によってアーム１０が前後方向に傾動可能に取付けられている。
このアーム１０の先端とシートクッションＳＣのクッションフレーム２０とは中間リクライニング装置２によって連結され、この中間リクライニング装置２によってシートクッションＳＣの前部が上下方向に傾動するように構成されている。
また、クッションフレーム２０の後部より上方に突出部２０Ａが延設され、この突出部２０Ａに上部リクライニング装置３を介してシートバックＳＢのバックフレーム３０が連結され、シートバックＳＢを上部リクライニング装置３によって前後方向に傾動するように取付けている。
なお、以上の各リクライニング装置１、２、３はいずれも、従来周知の構造の電動リクライニング装置を使用し、各リクライニング装置１、２、３が別個に作動し、図１のシートクッションＳＣ、シートバックＳＢが着座状態から図５、図６、図３の状態に順次又は逆の順に回動するようにプログラムされている。
次に、以上のシートバックＳＢ、シートクッションＳＣの動作を説明すると、図１は着座状態で、この状態で上部リクライニング装置３によってシートバックＳＢの傾斜角度を、また、中間リクライニング装置２によってシートクッションのチルト角度を、更に、下部リクライニング装置１によってアーム１０を起伏することにより、シートクッションＳＣ、シートバックＳＢの高さを各々調節が可能となる。
図２はリャシートのオットマンとして使用する場合を示し、シートクッションＳＣを前下がり状に傾斜させ、このシートクッションＳＣにシートバックＳＢを重ねることにより、折畳みシートがオットマンとして利用可能となる。
図３はシートバックＳＢ、シートクッションＳＣを折畳みアーム１０を前倒した状態で、この状態はスライドレール４の最前位置のみに行い得るように構成され、この状態が格納前、後の状態である。
図４は図３の状態から折畳シートを後方にスライドさせてリャシートクッションＲＳＣの下方に格納した状態を示す。
図５はシートクッションＳＣとシートバックＳＢを図６に示すように、各々重ね合わせる状態を示し、同時に、シートクッションＳＣとシートバックＳＢを中間リクライニング装置２、上部リクライニング装置３を作動させて図５の状態から図６の状態にする。
この図６の状態より、図２又は図３の状態にアーム１０を下部リクライニング装置１によって回動する。
図中Ｈはヘッドレストを示す。
なお、折畳みシートの後方にリャシートを設置しない場合には、シートバックＳＢ、シートクッションＳＣ、アーム１０を各々後方に倒してシートバックＳＢ上にシートクッションＳＣを重ね合わせるように折り畳むことも可能となる。

Claims (2)

  1. スライドレールのアッパーレールに一体に設けたベースフレームに、下部リクライニング装置を介してアームの基端を連結し、
    このアームの先端に、中間リクライニング装置を介してシートクッションのクッションフレームを連結し、
    このクッションフレームと一体の突出部に、上部リクライニング機構を介してシートバックのバックフレームを連結して、
    シートバック、シートクッション、アームを各々前後方向に傾動自在に連結してなることを特徴とする折畳みシート。
  2. 前記各リクライニング装置は電動リクライニング装置であって、各々独立し、且つ折畳
    時に上部リクライニング装置と中間リクライニング装置とが連動して作動する請求項１記載の折畳みシート。
