Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a technique for notifying a pedestrian or the like of the presence or approach of a vehicle.
However, in the notification using the horn sound, the pedestrian who is the receiver of the notification may be surprised more than necessary and uncomfortable, while the embodiment using the pseudo engine sound does not surprise the pedestrian more than necessary. However, since pseudo engine sounds can be heard from electric vehicles that do not emit engine sounds, it is undeniable that the listener may feel uncomfortable, and the artificially created sounds are disgusting. Some people hold. Since discomfort and disgust lead to discomfort, after all, it is impossible to notify the presence or approach of a vehicle that runs using an electric motor as a power source without causing discomfort to surrounding pedestrians and the like.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a technique that allows a surrounding pedestrian to grasp the presence or approach of a vehicle while avoiding discomfort. It is said.
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides one or more speakers arranged in a vehicle, one or more microphones arranged in the vehicle and collecting ambient sounds around the vehicle, and traveling of the vehicle When the speed is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value, the first process of storing the waveform data of the environmental sound collected by the one or more microphones is executed, and the traveling speed is lower than the threshold value. Provides a control unit that reads out the stored waveform data and executes a second process of supplying a sound signal corresponding to the waveform data to the one or more speakers. To do.
According to such a notification device, the environmental sound recorded during the high-speed traveling traveling at the traveling speed equal to or higher than the threshold is reproduced and output during the low-speed traveling where the traveling speed is less than the threshold.
In a more preferred aspect, the control unit of the notification device includes a pitch conversion unit that lowers the pitch of the sound signal supplied to the one or more speakers as the traveling speed is slower.
In another preferred embodiment, the control unit of the notification device includes a filter that can variably set the center frequency of the pass band, and supplies a sound signal to the one or more speakers via the filter. The center frequency is set lower as the traveling speed of the vehicle is slower.
In still another preferred embodiment, the control unit includes an amplifier that amplifies a sound signal supplied to the one or more speakers and supplies the amplified sound signal to the one or more speakers. In the second process, In the process of increasing the traveling speed of the vehicle, the amplification factor of the amplifier is controlled so that the environmental sound output from the one or more speakers fades out before the traveling speed reaches the threshold value. In the decreasing process, the amplification factor of the amplifier is controlled so that the environmental sound output from the one or more speakers fades in immediately after the traveling speed falls below the threshold.
According to the notification device according to the present invention, when the traveling speed of the vehicle in which the notification device is mounted does not reach the predetermined threshold, the environment recorded under the situation where the traveling speed is equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold. Since the sound is reproduced and output, pedestrians around the vehicle can recognize the presence or approach of the vehicle by listening to the reproduced environmental sound. Since the environmental sound reproduced and output by the notification device according to the present invention is not artificially created, it does not give a sense of discomfort or disgust to surrounding pedestrians.
That is, according to the present invention, there is an effect that it is possible to make a surrounding pedestrian grasp the presence or approach of the vehicle while avoiding giving an unpleasant feeling.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
(A: 1st Embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a configuration example of a
The
As shown in FIGS. 2 (A) and 2 (B),
The
The speakers 200a to 200f are for emitting sound according to the sound signal supplied from the
In the present embodiment, a case where six microphones and six speakers are used will be described. However, the number of microphones and speakers is not necessarily the same, and the number is not limited to six. Hereinafter, when it is not necessary to distinguish each of the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The input
The recording / reproducing
The
制御部345は、例えばCPU(Central Processing Unit)であり、ROM(Read Only
The
The control program stored in the memory (not shown) is read into a RAM (Random Access Memory) and executed, thereby executing processing characteristic of the notification device according to the present invention.
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, an
In addition to the execution control of the recording / playback process, the
The above is the configuration of the
Next, the operation of the
FIG. 3A is a diagram illustrating an example of a temporal change in travel speed of a vehicle on which the
When the traveling speed of the vehicle on which the
As described above, the
In the period from time T4 to T5, the traveling speed of the vehicle is less than a predetermined threshold value, so the
As described above, according to the
Thus, according to the
(B: Second embodiment)
FIG. 4 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration example of the
The configuration of the
The
The
More specifically, when the
As a result of the above processing performed by the
As described above, according to the
As described above, the
(C: deformation)
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, it goes without saying that the following modifications may be added to these embodiments.
(1) In the first embodiment described above, the case where the
(2) In the first and second embodiments described above, when the traveling speed of the vehicle is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, environmental sounds around the vehicle are recorded, and the traveling speed is below the threshold. In this case, the case where the recorded environmental sound is reproduced has been described. However, the environmental sound around the vehicle and the sound output from the

(4) In the first and second embodiments described above, the case where the notification device according to the present invention is mounted on an electric vehicle has been described. However, the application target of the present invention is not limited to an electric vehicle, but a so-called hybrid. It may be an automobile or a fuel cell automobile. In short, if the vehicle has a very low running noise during low-speed driving, such as a vehicle that runs using an electric motor as a power source, the alarm device according to the present invention is installed to give discomfort to surrounding pedestrians. Without being able to grasp the existence and approach of the vehicle. Of course, the present invention may be applied to a gasoline engine vehicle or the like designed to keep running noise low.
In addition, when the notification device according to the present invention is applied to a hybrid vehicle, some hybrid vehicles are provided with a changeover switch that instructs to travel using only an electric motor. The notification device may be configured not to operate when the operation start switch of the device is interlocked and selection is made to run using only the electric motor. The changeover switch is provided, for example, so as to be able to run with low running noise when traveling in a residential area or the like at midnight or early morning. This is because operating the alarm device according to the present invention in a situation where it is instructed to travel using the vehicle may not conform to the driver's intention.
(5) In the first and second embodiments described above, the case where the control unit and the ECU of the notification device according to the present invention are realized by separate hardware has been described. Of course it is good.
(6) In the first and second embodiments described above, the case where recording is performed by appropriately adjusting the volume of the environmental sound collected by the
